About: I have always been an animal lover! I have just finished my HND animal care qualification and passed. I currently work in a boarding kennels and I am also volunteering a a local rescue shelter. I love spending time with these dogs, and walk them once a week. I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 4, and grew up learning how to care for them. I hope to use my qualification to be able to work with animals full time in the future. I’ve just finished my HND animal care qualification. I’m currently working part-time at a boarding kennels facility. On my days off I love to look after dogs! About: Hello! My name is Kathryn and I live in Dunfermline with my husband, senior cat and dog. I grew up always having animals in the home whether that was dogs or cats or fish! From an early age I started walking neighbours dogs with my own and watching them on weekends. As I got older I began doing long house sits for family friends and neighbours pets. 5 years ago we rescued our senior cat Louie. He has been such a joy to have in the home and being able to give him a cozy new life has been so rewarding. Due to him being FIV positive he is susceptible to illness so I have experience delivering medications and providing extra care. Last May we brought home our Boxer Fionn. He is a crazy boy who keeps us active and it has been such a joy to train him and watch him grow. I work from home a couple a days a week and am very flexible on evenings and weekends. I would be able to help out as much as I could. If your dog is needing some walking or some company I would love to help and if okay could bring my dog along for a run around. I would love for him to meet some other dogs and get used to walking with dogs around (if you’re comfortable with it). If it’s cats you’re needing looked after I would be more than happy to spend quality time with them, playing with toys, cuddling on the sofa or reading my book with them! I have a fenced in back garden that the dogs can play in. If watching in your home I would be sure to keep an eye on them and follow all instructions provided. I would make sure they are safe, fed, happy and well looked after.
About: I am animal obsessed and have had dogs (and cats) my whole life, at one point we had more dogs than people in our house growing up, so I have gained a wealth of experience! I grew up on a farm in the outskirts of Glasgow and have a deep appreciation for animals and know that they are a part of the family. About: Having grown up surrounded by dogs and being lucky enough to travel and volunteer with animals in both Kenya and Australia, I've always adored animals of all shapes and sizes and am not phased by everything that can come with loving and looking after animals. I was also incredibly lucky to spend some time last year with a special family in Aberdeenshire helping look after 14 rescue horses and 7 dogs where I enjoyed learning how to read animals' body language and behaviour. I had never owned less than three dogs until I left my home in Orange County for the big apple where I studied at NYU. About: I’ve been looking after dogs my whole life, I’ve grown up with numerous different dogs big and small. I’ve always been involved in all aspects of their care including walking them, bathing them and dealing with the vets. As my gran got older and struggled I took over the care of her 3 dogs and gave them their daily medications, took them to the vets every month, walked them daily, took them to the groomers and ensured they had the best life. I have also been a pet sitter before for my neighbours and stayed with her dogs for a few days. I am currently a 3rd year student midwife so I am available during the week when I am not in university and at the weekends.
