“Amber was fantastic with my dog Cooper! She stopped by for a drop-in and he was so excited to see her — tail wagging, happy dancing, the whole thing. She sent photos right away, which I really appreciated. I’ll admit, Cooper is definitely a pampered pooch, but none of that was too much for Amber. She handled him perfectly. Highly recommend her — Cooper’s already hoping she comes back soon! 🐶💛”

“Holly made us feel so comfortable leaving our kitten for the first time. She followed all of our requests and gave us regular updates. She managed to bring our shy kitten out of her shell so quickly. Would absolutely recommend! ”

“Becky was an absolute star with our cat Lola. She visited everyday and gave us dailly updates and photos of Lola whilst we were on holiday. Our house was left immaculate, especially around Lola's eating area as Lola could be a messy cat! I would highly recommend Becky and would absolutely ask Becky again when we go on our next holiday. 10/10”

“We had last minute plans come up and we were able to get an hour's drop in for our two young dogs all sorted and organised stress free! Maria got back to us very quickly and we got really good vibes straight away - nothing was too much trouble for her. The dogs loved her instantly and she didn't seem phased by all their antics ? it's the longest we have left them alone and they were perfectly relaxed and happy when we got home (and nothing was destroyed ?). It was the first time we've ever used a pet sitter and couldn't be happier with the service.”

“Isidora was fantastic with our energetic border collie puppy. She communicated with us lots and kept us informed. We loved seeing the photos of Ace having fun with Isadora. Highly recommend.”

“Jennifer is fantastic with our puppy. Really natural with dogs and gave us huge reassurance our puppy was going to be in good hands when we were out Will definitely ask Jennifer to look after our puppy again”

About: I have been taking care of dogs of my own or for neighbours and friends since a young age, which developed into a small clientele of dogs whom I would regularly care for throughout my university studies. I have experience caring for puppies (and can confidently assist or continue puppy training) all the way to elderly dogs and am happy administering medication (non-injection). I like to chat with the owners before taking on a pet sitting job to ensure I know exactly what kind of care you expect from me and, more importantly, how I can make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your furry friend. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Dundee so have full autonomy over my schedule and can be at home or take time off during weekday day times. I have availability over the weekends and evenings and can arrange my work to fit around longer sits if need be. I have an enclosed garden which will be useable by your pet only. I live very close to big open spaces so can take them for any length or duration of exercise they might require. I tend to ask owners the specifics of how they prefer me to care for their pet. For example, any feeding/toilet/sleeping schedules, sleeping arrangements and whether or not they should be allowed on furniture/on beds etc. In my opinion the environment I can provide for your pet is largely up to you.
About: I’ve been around around dogs growing up. Unfortunately as I have a cat I cannot have dogs stay at my house but I am happy to drop in or dog walk I work full time. Varied shifts, I am flexible to cat drop ins at any time or day. I can visit your kitty as many times as you need throughout the day Unfortunately because of my cat I cannot have any cats stay over at my house but I am happy to stay over cat sitting at the owners house if this will give them peace of mind whilst away
“Iona took care of my cats perfectly when I am away! was always responsive and prompt to communicate, sent me amazing updates. Iona knew how to create the contact with the cats last days they become more friendly with each other. I will surely work again and trust my cats with her.”

About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

I love all pets and would love to meet your furry friends I work part time and I’m a college student with the summer and winter breaks free. I can adjust my schedule to your needs on the day to day. I am unable to have anymore dogs in my home as I already have 2 however whenever I am with your pet wether that be on a walk or house sitting I can follow any instructions you may have and will make sure to always keep them in my eye line.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds through looking after family and friends dogs. They relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am currently at Abertay University studying Food, Nutrition, and Health. Therefore, i would love to take care of your pets in my spare time! I have a closed off garden to keep your dogs safe. I can easily crate your dogs also if that is what you would be looking to do.
About: I've interacted with dogs all my life. I have always had a special connection with dogs. I have experience with dogs from weeks old all the way to the ripe old age of 16 years old. I have trained rescue dogs with aggression issues, including older dogs like Charlie, my departed Collie who I rescued when he was 10 years old. He went from aggressive on the lead to walking safely off the lead within 6 months. My primary occupation is as a live at home carer and I am.also a freelance journalist. I am incredibly flexible and have plenty free time. I live in the perfect place for dogs. I have a fenced garden and live 500 feet from Broughty Ferry's stunning waterfront which offers a variety of stunning walks to take pooch's on.
“zofia does such a wonderful job i recommend her to anyone that’s looking for a cat sitter! my grumpy cat adores her and she sends pics/vids that put my mind at ease when i’m away 😇 i’ll def be hiring her again!”

About: I've have been the carer for one of my previous flatmates two kittens for up to two weeks at a time, and cared for my grandparents dogs on and off growing up. I have family who have pets and often ask for their advice. I'm currently studying full-time, I can be available for your pet in the morning (early morning before 8.30am) & evenings after 5.30pm. I rely on public transport I like to create a calm, comfortable environment, with regular updates & communication on how your pets are doing. As I am not a pet owner myself, I make the effort to research the best way to care for your animal depending on breed and type of pet to ensure they have the best experience whilst you are away, and that you have peace of mind knowing your pet is in safe hands.
Dundee cat owners share their Rover experiences
Alice was amazing! I received quick responses and she did a lot to reassure me that my cat would be in good hands. She looked after him really well, updated me on how he was doing with a ton of great photos and was just incredibly reliable. Absolutely wonderful job all round!
Iona took care of my cats perfectly when I am away! was always responsive and prompt to communicate, sent me amazing updates. Iona knew how to create the contact with the cats last days they become more friendly with each other. I will surely work again and trust my cats with her.

My cats have been very well cared for by Erin My cat, who is older, doesn't trust people, but she has been very affectionate with Erin and has let herself be petted. This proves Erin is very good at caring for cats. For sure we will recomen Erin to our friend.

Cannot rate Holly highly enough. She looked after our elderly cat for a week. We were anxious about leaving her but she had such excellent care and we had daily updates and photos. Holly made the whole process very easy and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again.
