About: I have been taking care of dogs of my own or for neighbours and friends since a young age, which developed into a small clientele of dogs whom I would regularly care for throughout my university studies. I have experience caring for puppies (and can confidently assist or continue puppy training) all the way to elderly dogs and am happy administering medication (non-injection). I like to chat with the owners before taking on a pet sitting job to ensure I know exactly what kind of care you expect from me and, more importantly, how I can make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your furry friend. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Dundee so have full autonomy over my schedule and can be at home or take time off during weekday day times. About: I've interacted with dogs all my life. I have always had a special connection with dogs. I have experience with dogs from weeks old all the way to the ripe old age of 16 years old. I have trained rescue dogs with aggression issues, including older dogs like Charlie, my departed Collie who I rescued when he was 10 years old. He went from aggressive on the lead to walking safely off the lead within 6 months. My primary occupation is as a live at home carer and I am.also a freelance journalist. About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. About: Hi. I have loved cats and dogs since I was a small child. I helped to walk my friend's dog during Primary School lunchtimes and from then on I was hooked! I've had many pets of my own. Later, I worked as a veterinary nurse for several years and also volunteered at a local cat shelter. My passion is helping animals. I have the skills in basic pet care eg. feeding, giving medications, walking and playing. I can offer drop-in visits and dog walks and, come mid-December, some housesitting too. At present, I work 3 days a week as a care assistant. Although I enjoy this work, my heart lies more with helping animals. It's just a big soft spot that I have. It is time for me to folliw my passion again. My work days in the care home vary so it would be great if you could be a little flexible with me as regards days. This is just until I can become a full-time petsitter. I can work early mornings through to evenings, including weekends. My shih-tzu would not be too chuffed if another dog came into our home, so I can really only provide pet care in your own home for now. However, in an emergency we do have a dog cage for her.

After moving away for university I’ve missed dogs so much, and unable to have one of my own yet I’m very keen to spend time with them and look after them! About: I have grown up on a farm and have had sheepdogs my whole life. Since they are working dogs they mostly just runs muck around the farm and help us with herding and pest control. We take them for walks when we go out on hacks with the horses and if we go to check fields. One of our dogs does have increased needs due to an injury to his back leg so I am used to dogs with special needs. I have also taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. Because our dogs are farm dogs they get fed twice a day and run a muck around the farm the rest of the day while also doing a bit of pest control and jobs as well. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. Christine was so good with my 6 month old Collie cross puppy! Joanne and Callum were amazing with Sabine from their first meeting. We knew our dog would be in safe hand from the moment they walked into our home. This our first time using a dog sitting service and we were very happy with Amaris. No issues at all. Even though she was sick at the start of the dog sitting she still looked after them and kept us updated (usually on how naughty the puppy had been) but they were fed and cuddled and seemed to be happy around Amaris which was our biggest worry as this was bew to both us and the dogs. They are big boisterous dogs (60kg adult and 35kg 8 month old) so it was pleasing to have someone who was able to manage them.
