About: Hi. I have loved cats and dogs since I was a small child. I helped to walk my friend's dog during Primary School lunchtimes and from then on I was hooked! I've had many pets of my own. Later, I worked as a veterinary nurse for several years and also volunteered at a local cat shelter. My passion is helping animals. I have the skills in basic pet care eg. feeding, giving medications, walking and playing. I can offer drop-in visits and dog walks and, come mid-December, some housesitting too. At present, I work 3 days a week as a care assistant. Although I enjoy this work, my heart lies more with helping animals. It's just a big soft spot that I have. It is time for me to folliw my passion again. My work days in the care home vary so it would be great if you could be a little flexible with me as regards days. This is just until I can become a full-time petsitter. I can work early mornings through to evenings, including weekends. My shih-tzu would not be too chuffed if another dog came into our home, so I can really only provide pet care in your own home for now. However, in an emergency we do have a dog cage for her.

About: I've interacted with dogs all my life. I have always had a special connection with dogs. I have experience with dogs from weeks old all the way to the ripe old age of 16 years old. I have trained rescue dogs with aggression issues, including older dogs like Charlie, my departed Collie who I rescued when he was 10 years old. He went from aggressive on the lead to walking safely off the lead within 6 months. My primary occupation is as a live at home carer and I am.also a freelance journalist. I am incredibly flexible and have plenty free time. I live in the perfect place for dogs. I have a fenced garden and live 500 feet from Broughty Ferry's stunning waterfront which offers a variety of stunning walks to take pooch's on.

About: I have been taking care of dogs of my own or for neighbours and friends since a young age, which developed into a small clientele of dogs whom I would regularly care for throughout my university studies. I have experience caring for puppies (and can confidently assist or continue puppy training) all the way to elderly dogs and am happy administering medication (non-injection). I like to chat with the owners before taking on a pet sitting job to ensure I know exactly what kind of care you expect from me and, more importantly, how I can make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your furry friend. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Dundee so have full autonomy over my schedule and can be at home or take time off during weekday day times. I have availability over the weekends and evenings and can arrange my work to fit around longer sits if need be. I have an enclosed garden which will be useable by your pet only. I live very close to big open spaces so can take them for any length or duration of exercise they might require. I tend to ask owners the specifics of how they prefer me to care for their pet. For example, any feeding/toilet/sleeping schedules, sleeping arrangements and whether or not they should be allowed on furniture/on beds etc. In my opinion the environment I can provide for your pet is largely up to you.

About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

About: Hi, I’m Lawry, I’m 24 and from Dundee! I’ve been around dogs for almost all of my life and currently have a 7-year-old Fox Red Labrador called Amber🧡. I’m very comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities, and looking after Amber has taught me the importance of exercise, consistency, patience and providing a safe, loving environment. Growing up, I regularly walked and cared for my Beagle, Leila, and Black Lab, Bella, who had very different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also looked after dogs for friends and family, including regularly staying with my in-laws’ Border Collie. All of these experiences have given me a genuine love for dogs of all kinds! Being a student gives me plenty of flexibility, and as I often work from my laptop at home, house sitting fits easily around my routine. I usually like to use my study breaks to get outside for a walk, so having a dog to join me would be an added bonus! I’m able to give plenty of company, attention and care while still fitting my studies around their needs😊. I am currently studying at university, so I have great flexibility for your pet! My coursework is heavily computer based, and so I am able to do this from any location. My usual week has 1-2 full days in university, 1 half day for lectures, and the rest of the working week I complete work from my home. Weekends are always flexible for me! I am more than happy to tailor my day or week to you and your dogs needs. When I’m caring for your dog, my main priority is making sure your dog feels comfortable and settled while you’re away. I’ll follow whatever routine works best for your dog, including their usual meal times, walks, toilet breaks and bedtime. I’m also very happy to spend time with them throughout the day, whether that’s going out for a good walk, playing in the garden, having some enrichment time, or simply keeping them company at home. I know that not every dog needs the same amount of exercise or attention. Some will be ready for a long walk and a game of fetch, while others are much happier having a potter around the park before curling up for a nap. I’m happy to adapt to their personality and what they’re used to. I’ll treat your home and your dog with the same care and respect I would my own, and I’ll keep you updated while you’re away with photos and little updates throughout the stay. My aim is for you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, happy and being well looked after.

About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. Although I would love to have pets of my own, my partner and I travel regularly, so pet sitting has become a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals, while helping owners feels confident that their pets are receiving excellent care. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m at home throughout the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision and attention. All I need to work is an internet connection and a space for my laptop, and I rarely have more than 1 meeting a day. I also have a car for getting around and emergencies. Pets in my care are never left alone for extended periods, and I can easily adapt to their usual routines, whether that means regular walks, play sessions, medical needs, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence nearby. My partner and I live in a 2 story semi- detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Dundee. We have a secure fully fenced garden with a lawn behind the house. We are fortunate to have football fields and beautiful walking routes nearby- such as the Dighty Burn, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. We also own a camper van and love to travel further afield with it at the weekends, and get out on bigger walks, rides and hikes further north.

About: I've been enjoying using another app for house sitting pets in the owners home, have looked after 35 pets so far mostly dogs and really enjoy getting to know each beautiful soul! I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I'm a freelance community project lead so I am flexible and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. We use the back door as our main door which offers additional safety as we can implement an 'airlock' system between the two internal doors 😅. Our neighborhood is a 20 zone and we live on a cul-de-sac. We have space for your crate if you would like to provide one for your dog's comfort.

I make sure dogs have plenty of company. I have a large enclosed garden. I enjoy walking and your dogs will have at least 3 good walks per day, if required. I have a standard poodle who likes having other dogs to stay too!
