Experience & Services: I'm an experienced pet sitter in Dundee who for the last few years has enjoyed looking after cats and dogs of all sizes and attitudes, as well as rats, fish, rabbits, and an aggressive Guinea pig/escape artist. I love spending time getting to know each pet, learning what works for them and what needs they have, and helping them be the best versions of themselves. I'm confident to administer medication or help with training/grooming, if you run me through what's needed. I have experience with medical and behavioural problems in dogs that needed lots of attention - for example managing overexcitement in a pack of big personalities and administering oral and topical medicines. If there is ever an emergency, I would have no issue dropping everything else to check on them outside of scheduled times, as their health and happiness is what matters the most. You can be assured they are in safe hands! I have a car, so travel is not an issue, and means I can offer longer walks for more adventurous dogs. I'm also more than happy to take care of plants or other little tasks while you're away! If this all sounds like we might be a good match, I would love to hear from you. A little about me: Spending time around animals has always felt natural for me, as I grew up with 2 cats and a border collie/springer spaniel mix. I grew up with my dog, helping to train her (and play with her) as a puppy and making sure she was comfortable in old age. I now live with my own tuxedo cat, Freddie. I've been pet sitting for several years now, as one cat simply isn't enough for me! It brings me so much pleasure to meet and care for all the crazy characters we choose to share our homes with.

Safety, trust & environment
As my cat, Freddie, is very used to being an only child, I'm not able to offer boarding for pets, however I am able to care for pets in their own homes, overnights included. I have cared for pets with very strict timings and needs before, so I'm more than happy to go through everything in your normal routine so that nothing is missed and your pets are completely relaxed. This could range from nap times and training, to medicine and food adjustments, to how they like to play or specific comforts you don't want them to miss while you're not there. Just let me know! I take detailed notes and will care for them just as you would yourself.

We had luka stay at our house for a week looking after our Rottweiler who is 7 months old. He done an amazing job I was very anxious of leaving her but luka kept me up to date and with the updates put my mind at ease . Luka took her for plenty of walks and stuck to her routine taken her loads of lovely adventures. I would definitely recommend luka and the house was left spotless 😊. I would ask luka to stay again as I came home to a happy puppy.
Luka is an absolute lifesaver! Had to book last minute for some drop ins so my dog wouldn't be home alone all day. Luka came over first for a meet and greet which was great. Before and after the drop ins we had great communication, and Luka was also aware of the effect of the heat and adapted their drop in accordingly to make sure that Ghost didn't overheat. Positive experience, will book again!
Luka looked after our pup for a night while we were away and he was great! He stuck to her usual routine and she seemed to settle really nicely with him. He also sent updates and photos which was lovely as we were a bit nervous about leaving her. We would definitely recommend Luka to anyone :)
Luka was amazing looking after my dog Brandy and kitten Whiskey, he sent lots of photos which gave me lots of peace of mind. He followed our routine very well and even left the place very tidy at the end of the stay, much appreciated. Can’t recommend enough.

Luca watched my lab, Joey, for a weekend and I couldn’t recommend Luca more. He kept in touch over WhatsApp throughout the weekend to send updates and photos. He regularly walks Joey also and Joey loves him visiting!

Schedule
I'm a student at Dundee University, but have most mornings and evenings available for visits or short walks, and can offer longer walks and stays at various times throughout the week and over Summer. Please get in touch to discuss if you're unsure, as I can be very flexible with my schedule to suit you.
