“Stella was absolutely amazing ! Great communication and very attentive to Bruno’s routines :) Bruno loved being at Stella’s and was so excited to go back , which made me feel at ease about leaving him in her care !”

“My pup was happy to see me when I came to pick him up, but fall asleep in his crate shortly after. I was advised he had a good full on day meeting other dogs in the park and being boisterous self. So I am happy with that. Highly recommend Natalia for your loved furry babies 10/10”

About: I love dogs and enjoy taking care of my doggy nephew when needed, including full boarding, walks, meals and grooming as long as 1 month at a time. I am working from home, so I can keep company for your dog during the day. Small toilet breaks are also available during the day. I can take your dog for a walk on a leash. When at home, I’ll be near all the time. We have a small fenced backyard, but it is shared.
“I'm often quite anxious to leave Steve with anyone. As a 10 month old black lab, he can be a lot to handle! Yet as we were moving house, Mariah very graciously agreed to take Steve on for doggy day care and overnight boarding! Mariah and her partner were amazing with him. She even brought him some pig ears as a treat! She took him for many walks and kept me updated with lots of pics throughout the day. I can see she truly has a passion for dogs and I would leave Steve again with her in a heartbeat! Could not recommend enough. Thank you Mariah!”
“First time leaving my dog Fede at a daycare with someone he didn’t know, and Isidora was very caring and made him feel at home. She was very attentive to his needs throughout the day and kept me updated on how he was doing while he was at her house. She also made sure to introduce her sweet dog Bono to Fede before they came inside, and everything went perfectly. I would definitely leave Fede with her again.”

“Grant was amazing with Leo. Here was me thinking that Leo would be anxious/unsure about being away from home, as he’s never stayed elsewhere even for the day, unless with family. But Leo didn’t even look back, I was very happy. Little bits of feedback throughout the day and some pictures too. Leo can’t wait to stay again soon!”

“Maria took Coco for an afternoon whilst we attended a family celebration. Coco was well looked after and afforded a treat of a visit to a Pet Cafe. When we picked her up she was in great spirits and you could tell she had enjoyed her time with Maria. In the evening all her stimulation had her completely exhausted. Maria’s comms were excellent throughout. From the initial contact, through pre appointment and throughout her time with Coco. She showed warmth and love to our dog as if Coco were her own and on a practical level She was fully prepared for a day for caring for our dog. Fully recommend Maria for your dog care requirements.”

About: I've been enjoying using another app for house sitting pets in the owners home, have looked after 35 pets so far mostly dogs and really enjoy getting to know each beautiful soul! I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I'm a freelance community project lead so I am flexible and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. We use the back door as our main door which offers additional safety as we can implement an 'airlock' system between the two internal doors 😅. Our neighborhood is a 20 zone and we live on a cul-de-sac. We have space for your crate if you would like to provide one for your dog's comfort.
About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. Although I would love to have pets of my own, my partner and I travel regularly, so pet sitting has become a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals, while helping owners feels confident that their pets are receiving excellent care. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m at home throughout the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision and attention. All I need to work is an internet connection and a space for my laptop, and I rarely have more than 1 meeting a day. I also have a car for getting around and emergencies. Pets in my care are never left alone for extended periods, and I can easily adapt to their usual routines, whether that means regular walks, play sessions, medical needs, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence nearby. My partner and I live in a 2 story semi- detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Dundee. We have a secure fully fenced garden with a lawn behind the house. We are fortunate to have football fields and beautiful walking routes nearby- such as the Dighty Burn, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. We also own a camper van and love to travel further afield with it at the weekends, and get out on bigger walks, rides and hikes further north.
“Carolanne took great care of my puppy! He had the best day, she took him on exciting walks and took into consideration our training of him. He is a very energetic pup and she took it in her stride. Would definitely use her again :)”

About: Christine and Madison are a mother-daughter due that started pet sitting on a regular basis several years ago when our 2 beautiful Cavalier King Charles passed away after 14 years of being an important part of our family. Since moving to the UK I have kept with it, sitting other dogs is great for me and the pup alike! Every person thinks their dog is the BEST DOG- and they’re not wrong! I have pet sit for puppies that needed training is the early stages to ensure they learn good habits, as well as specializing in senior care. Not only do I enjoy caring for puppies, we understand the specific needs of older pets, providing gentle exercise, and offering extra comfort & attention. A calm & patient demeanor helps pets feel at ease. Whether it's playful energy for the young dogs or tender care for the seniors, I’m dedicated to providing the best possible experience for your furry family members. We have a flexible schedule and can be home most days, ensuring someone is home for your pet if required, on request in advance. Get the best of what pet sitting can offer by hiring me. Taking care of a pet requires a thoughtful balance of time, effort, and love. I am a PHd student with a lot of flexibility in my schedule. MORNING: I am available for morning walks to ensure your dog starts the day with the exercise they need- it’s a healthy start for us too! AFTERNOON: Throughout the day, short breaks are dedicated to playtime, engaging your pet with their favorite toys and activities to keep them mentally stimulated and happy. Socialization is another key aspect, so visits to the dog park or playdates with other pets are a common feature, fostering a sense of community and companionship for your pet. EARLY EVENING: Many owners worry about getting home on time to let their dog out, let us take care of that for you- so that when you do get home you can relax & enjoy your time with your pet. These activities not only cater to your pet's physical needs but also contribute significantly to their emotional well-being, creating a harmonious and fulfilling day for both you & your dog. WE DO NOT PROVIDE: Grooming & health checks. For in-home pet care, it's essential to create a safe & comfortable environment for your pet. I pet-proof our home to eliminate any hazards. Ensure that all necessary supplies, such as food, water, toys, and bedding, are readily available. Follow a consistent feeding and exercise schedule to maintain their routine, and provide plenty of love and attention. If I am pet-sitting in a pet owner's home, communication is key. I begin with a detailed consultation to understand the pet's needs, preferences, and any special instructions. Make sure to adhere to the pet's usual schedule and habits as closely as possible. Keep the pet owner updated with regular messages or photos to reassure them that their beloved pet is in good hands. In both scenarios, I am observant of the pet's behavior and health. I look out for any signs of distress or illness and be prepared to seek veterinary care if needed. Remember, our goal is to make the pet feel loved, secure, and happy, whether they are in your home or ours.

“Leah has been excellent with our dog ithaka. We have so far had a successful meet and greet and first day care session. Her dog Ripley is wonderful and friendly, and Leah and David are very kind and considerate owners. Leah has had experience with a blind dog herself which was very reassuring for us leaving ithaka in her care. Ithaka came back tired and happy We look forward to the next dog sitting”

Thanks Liberty!

Fab communication from first initial message right up until I picked Mac up. He seemed happy and well looked after, he had loads of cuddles which he loves, will definitely book with them again when I’m down this way again, which will hopefully be in a couple of months ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
