I currently work part-time and am finishing my studies, with my course ending in May, so I’ll have even more availability over the summer. Caring for animals is a huge part of my life, and I always make time for it because it’s something I genuinely love doing. My schedule is quite flexible during the week, and I also have good availability on weekends. I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to make sure they receive consistent, reliable care and attention.

I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment whether caring for pets in my home or in a pet owner’s home. At my home, I have a fully fenced garden, giving pets a secure space to relax and play. I also don’t have any other cats or dogs, which can help pets feel more at ease, especially those who prefer a quieter environment. When caring for pets in their own home, I always stick closely to their usual routine to keep things as familiar and stress-free as possible. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment, whether that’s playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company.

Unfortunately my partner is allergic to dog hair so for doggy day care I can only accept hypoallergenic dogs or dogs that are considered low shedding, sorry for the inconvenience ☺️

A typical day with me is active, fun, and engaging for your pet. I focus on both mental and physical stimulation, using tricks, commands, and enrichment to keep dogs happy and prevent boredom. We’ll enjoy long walks in the park next to my home, plus safe playtime and toilet breaks in my secure fenced garden. Your pet will get plenty of attention, exercise, and care throughout the day.

Kind, Calm, and Caring Dog Walker

I’ve been caring for and walking dogs since I was 15, and at 16 I started my own small dog walking service for neighbours and friends. I’m still in touch with many of those dogs today and truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ve completed a HND in Animal Care, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs, including training as a key part of my course. This has given me a strong understanding of dog behaviour and how to work with dogs of different ages and temperaments. I’ve also completed an animal first aid course, so I’m confident carrying out basic first aid and staying calm in situations where a dog may need extra care. I’m very caring, down-to-earth, reliable, and trustworthy, and I always aim to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident. I’m always happy to answer any questions and keep you updated — and as I love photography, you can expect plenty of cute photos of your dog during our time together! Stella was absolutely amazing ! Great communication and very attentive to Bruno’s routines :) Bruno loved being at Stella’s and was so excited to go back , which made me feel at ease about leaving him in her care !
Pepper had such an amazing day with Stella! She can be quite shy at first, but she immediately felt comfortable and settled in so quickly, which says a lot. It was lovely to see her be her usual happy, playful self. She clearly had a great time on her walks and came home very content. Communication throughout the day was fantastic too; we received the cutest photos and updates, which we really appreciated. Would absolutely recommend Stella to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!
When we moved to the borders the only thing we wished we could take was Stella! She looked after our dog since he was around 2-6 years old! He was obsessed with her. Stella is very trustworthy and has even dog sit Flynn over night a few times. She is extremely kind, loving and chatty! In short, she’s the best and would highly recommend her to look after your lovely dogs!
Stella has walked my Cocker Spaniel Molly for quite a few years now and I’m so grateful to her . Stella is amazing with Molly ,she walks her in a variety of different locations and sends me the cutest photos from their outings too which I love. Stella is such a nice natured person and a genuine animal lover , she’s exceptionally accommodating and always willing to help whenever possible. it’s such a comfort knowing Molly is in caring ,reliable hands.
