Rolo went in quite happily to Andrew’s and was relaxed when I collected him. He has come home and is still nice and settled which has been an issue recently when he has been cared for outwith our home. Very pleased with the care provided and will look to book again!🐾

Josephine is a wonderful dog sitter, very kind and patient. We coordinated very well and my super energetic Labrador Zero had a good time staying in her house. He even received a gift from Josephine, a big ball! I really appreciate her help, which gave a good relief of my pressure when we were away. I would recommend Josephine to all dog owners living/traveling around this area.

About: I have grown up and taken care of dogs since I can remember, including living experience with a police German shepherd, fully trained working cocker spaniel, 2 border collies and an Australian shepherd. This has given me strong experience to give your dog its wanted needs. I’m confident managing different temperaments and ensuring all dogs feel secure, exercised, and well cared for, they will be loved and cared like my own. I’ve recently finished my university degree, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I train at an international level with the university swim academy, but outside of training I’m free and able to dedicate consistent time to pet care. Including multiple walks (even up to 5-6 for high energy dogs), supervision, and care throughout the day. This allows me to give dogs consistent attention, exercise, and a structured routine during their stay long or short. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment for dogs staying in my pet-friendly flat, which includes a secure, dog-friendly balcony and access to all rooms as all dog friendly. There is a garden area outside for toilet breaks, which is always used under close supervision. I also have access to multiple safe walking areas nearby, suitable for both shorter walks and longer, high-energy exercise depending on the breed. Having grown up with a police dog and a fully trained working cocker spaniel, I understand the importance of routine, boundaries, and attentive care. I follow all owner instructions closely and ensure dogs are not left alone for long periods, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for throughout their stay.

About: Dog mum to Rufus, the super friendly and outgoing small saluki cross. Rufus is playful and friendly, but also loves to curl up in a ball and relax. We are an adventurous pair who love long walks around the nearby fields, parks, woodlands, and occasionally mountains. We would love to have your pup join us - whether for just a walk, whole day or overnight. Walking services can be provided one to one or as part of a group (with Rufus and potentially other clients), depending on your dog’s needs. Dogs will be kept on lead unless consent is provided for off-lead activities. I can drive to pick up your dog, or you are welcome to drop them off at my place. I live in a flat, however, have a fenced garden where the dogs can play (supervised). All bookings will require a consultation to discuss your dog’s requirements, temperament, and food schedule (if required). I currently work as a freelance wedding singer on weekends. During the week, I have plenty of free time to look after your dog(s) - whether for a walk, whole day session or overnight. For walking and daycare sessions, I can pick up your dog or you can drop them off to me. Walking services can be adapted to suit your dog’s needs - whether that means a one-to-one session or as part of a group (with my own dog as well as other potential clients). Dogs will be kept on lead unless owner provides consent for off-lead activities. My dog, Rufus, will be around for daycare and overnight stays. Overnight stays can take place at my home or yours, as long as you are happy with Rufus joining. My flat has a fenced garden where the dogs can play (supervised), and we also live next to several great walking spots - parks, fields, hills.

About: People should choose me because I put genuine care and attention into every walk. I understand that dogs need more than just exercise—they need patience, affection, and someone who really pays attention to their personality and safety. I’m reliable, calm, and committed to making sure each dog feels happy, comfortable, and well-cared for. Owners can count on me to treat their pets as if they were my own. As a film student at university, I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of free time throughout the week, making it easy for me to fit in regular dog walks. My classes and projects often vary from day to day, which means I’m available during mornings, afternoons, and even some evenings. This flexibility allows me to be dependable and consistent, giving each dog the time and attention they deserve without feeling rushed. When caring for pets in my home or a pet owner’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and calm environment. I follow the owner’s routines closely—feeding schedules, walk times, play habits, and any special instructions—so the pet feels secure and at ease.

I used Sophie's Daycare services for my 2 Dachshunds. She replied to my request very quickly and agreed to look after them at short notice, which really helped me out of a sticky situation. As soon as I dropped them off I could tell my pups were immediately comfortable with Sophie and her home. I got photo and message updates throughout the day to see how much fun my babies were having (and Sophie too, I think). I will 100% be using her services again, and would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sitter. Thank you again, Sophie!

My dog Millie’s first visit with Alison and she was well looked after. Alison sent me updates throughout the day and I came back to a very contented and tired dog. My lass also got to socialise with Alison’s own dog. Delighted and we will be back.

About: I have owned 3 dogs in my lifetime when I was living with my parents. Dogs always just fit in the family. I moved to Stirling and took care of 4 dogs on a different app varying from just afternoon walks and dinner to staying over for the weekend. A house is a home with a dog, want to get my own eventually but until then I am happy to help I am currently off for 2 weeks and would happily take care of any pets in that time after that I will update my schedule but can do most evenings and weekends and the odd afternoon Can understand some dogs just want to stay in their own home. I am good with feeding them, walking or bathing should you need. I also have a nice house with fenced garden where they can run and will happily let any fur baby stay with me

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my entire life, I currently have 2 spaniels aged 11 and 7, who are great with other dogs and humans. I trained them as puppies to have perfect recal, be house trained and to do all the cute commands which is something I can certainly help your puppy with. I also love dogs of all ages and sizes and will give them all the cuddles, attention and walks they need. I am no stranger to administering medication and will strictly follow your rules on food and whether they are allowed on furniture etc. my favourite activities in life are walking and playing with dogs. I am currently working freelance which means I am able to work around your needs. I can start as early or work as late as needed to fit your work schedule or around your holidays to make sure your dogs are well taken care of. I have a fenced back garden with a gate into a lovely quiet wooded area, so when your dogs are boarding with me they will be able to have lots of great walks in the woods as well as plenty of time in the garden. The garden fence is fully secure so there is no chance of them escaping, I have watched a 3lb puppy previously who wasn’t even able to slip under the fence so you know it is secure.

About: I have had pets for my whole life. From when I lived on a farm as a toddler to dog sitting for friends and family in more recent years as I have semi retired. I have experience in all aspects of dog and cat care and training. I am now retired and can be available for week day and weekends for boarding and walking etc. I work with owners and their needs. Very much this will be by taking the lead of the owners. What they want for their pets and the specific needs of any one animal trusted to my care.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Stirling

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Stirling on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 955 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Stirling. About 88% of Stirling sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Stirling commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
