About: I have had cats and dogs my whole life, and I currently have a 1 year old border collie and two 11 year old cats. I've been looking after my pets, and walking my dogs for as long as I can remember. I have experience working with and walking with challenging dogs, and have attended many dog and puppy training classes. I love all animals and find spending time with them to be very fun and rewarding. I have just finished University, so I'm free most of the time! I have a car and a full license so I can drive to you! I have a dog and two cats at home so I can't bring in other pets, however I am able to come to you, and care for pets in their home environment. I have experience looking after pets for friends and neighbours while they are away. I have experience using crates, and working with both high-energy young dogs and older dogs, as well as all sizes. I am also very experienced with herding dogs, and dogs with car-chasing instincts. I also have experience with reactive and anxious dogs. I am also experienced with providing medication for both dogs and cats.

About: I’ve always had dogs(big and small) growing up. I grew up in Canada, and have moved here 3 years ago. I love to travel so don’t want a dog of my own yet. Looking to take care of someone else’s animal as if it were mine! I work full time, my job is hybrid/flexible. I can work from home or do 3 visits/day if you let me know a few days in advance. I also own a vehicle so distance is not a problem for me. I live in a 4 bedroom house with a fenced garden, and near a large park. I have a cat, if your pet does not like cats she can be separated to the upstairs if needed.

About: I’ve grown up at home with dogs my whole life including rescue and reactive dogs, so I understand the importance of patience and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Over the past 2 years, I’ve also helped my friend with Rover by assisting with walks, feeding, check-ins and caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m confident handling all types of dogs and will always take time to build trust at their own pace. Whether your pet needs a calm companion, regular exercise or extra patience and attention, I’ll make sure they feel cared, safe and happy while you’re away. I am a high performance athlete at the university and have a flexible schedule so I can make time throughout the week and weekends for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime and keeping your pets company. I’m reliable, communicative and happy to stick to your dog’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I’ve grown up caring for rescue and reactive dogs, so I understand how important patience, safety and trust are. I always take the time to learn each dog’s personality, and routine so they feel secure and comfortable in my care. Whether in your home or out on walks, I stay attentive and calm while making sure your pet has fun, gets plenty of attention and stays safe at all times

Tara was excellent, would recommend her pet sitting services. Very good and consistent communication throughout, and great dedication to making sure she met my pets' needs beforehand by arranging lots of meet and greets. My dog, Jasper, is nervous with new people but she was patient and calm with him which really helped with his comfort whilst I was away. She was also super respectful of my home, leaving it in a great condition after her stay!

About: I have taken care of many different dogs. I enjoy ther company and making sure they feel loved. Walks are the he best as they are good for me and extra good for the dogs. I have mastered the skill of picking up after them and have some experience in teaching tricks. Pet care is great for me as I am a very active person so I love to walk. However I also love to relax and just be there as company. I adjust to how people look after their pets quite quickly so the pets don’t need to feel any stress or anxiety from being in a new place with a stranger

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Robyn Our Golden Retriever can be a little needy at times, and because she’s truly like our daughter, it was so important for us to find someone who would care for her as much as we do—especially while we were away getting married. I found Robyn on Rover after reading a few of her reviews and decided to reach out. Straight away, she gave off such a warm and welcoming vibe. When we met in person, Bailey took to her instantly, which meant everything to us. Robyn asked lots of questions about Bailey, which really reassured us that she genuinely cared about getting to know her. We also arranged a shorter sitting session beforehand so both Bailey and Robyn could get comfortable with each other, which was such a great idea. On our wedding weekend, Robyn arrived right on time and even brought us a little gift, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. Throughout the day, she kept us updated with photos and messages, so we always knew Bailey was happy and well looked after. When we got home, Bailey was so excited to see us—but it was clear she’d had a lovely time too. Thank you so much, Robyn—we’re so grateful

About: I have over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my family's dog, who was a cherished member of our household. Throughout those years, I was involved in every aspect of their care, including feeding, walking, grooming, administering medication when needed, attending veterinary appointments, and providing daily companionship and attention. This long-term experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to recognize and respond to a dog's physical and emotional needs. Our beloved dog fudge recently passed away, and while it has been a difficult loss, the experience has deepened my appreciation for the bond between people and animals and strengthened my passion for caring for dogs. I currently work from home, however, I am available to travel and work from anywhere that has stable Internet if needed. I am free weekends and can be free from 6pm weekdays. I will ensure all windows remain closed, verify that all areas are free from potential hazards, and confirm that your cat receives adequate playtime, is content, and is properly fed.

About: Hey! I’m Christina, an experienced pet owner and sitter. I’ve had a love for animals since I can remember, and have grown up around many dogs, cats, even some chickens and ducks! I aim to treat your pet like I would my own, whether that’s on a drop in visit, a walk or a longer pet sit. I’ll make sure all their needs are met whether that’s walking for hours to burn energy, playing with toys or games to keep their brains stimulated or simply cuddling up on the sofa in front of the telly. I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, from your teacup yorkies to your Great Danes, I’m happy to provide as much exercise as needed and cater my services as required. I’m also a clean and tidy house sitter, happy to keep on top of your plants and anything else you might need cared for other than your pet while you’re away. I’m as happy in a central flat as a rural cottage, no house sit is a problem for me. I also have a clean PVG, and can provide testimonials from previous sits off site. Please don’t hesistate to send me a message with any questions, hope to hear from you and your perfect pet soon! Pet sitting & care is my full time job, outside of some flexible volunteering, so I’m available through the week and outside of sociable hours. I’m happy to take bookings at short notice providing I’m available, and to travel reasonable distances to provide services. I drive so have no problem accessing more rural locations. I care for pets in their own house, so I know that it’s them that rules the roost! I’ll work with you as the owner to ensure I know their routine, their likes and dislikes, any wee quirks they might have, to provide the most tailored service for your pet. Whether it’s walking a favourite route, ensuring they always have their favourite toy to hand, preparing a perfect dinner for special diets, nothing is too much for me to cater for. I’m also happy to do as many meet and greets as needed for you and your pet to feel comfortable before commencing any services.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Stirling walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Stirling choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
