“Bridget was fantastic! Her communication was great and she managed to put my very anxious mini dachshund at ease while we were gone. I will definitely be in touch in future & would highly recommend :)”

“An absolute superstar, thanks again Sidney! She stayed in our home for 1 week taking care of our dog Charlie, sent regular updates and photos and left our house is such a nice and clean state. Everything went so smoothly and we left on our first holiday together with our children knowing Charlie was left in safe hands with lots of attention, cuddles and calmness ☺️ would without hesitation book you again and recommend you to whoever was looking for a reliable and kind soul to look after your four legged best friend 💞”

“Libby-Jade looked after Kayla for three days and gave her really wonderful care and attention! I am so glad to have found Libby-Jade on Rover and am looking forward to booking again. :)”

“Claudia was wonderful with all 3 of my pups. She was on time for the 2 days she came over to look after our furbabies. She is reasonably priced (especially for 3 dogs) and I will be requesting her again!”

“Once again Alys has proved why she's our go to when finding someone to look after Rex. She's punctual, respectful and she genuinely cares about Rex which is always a must for us. As we always say, we will be asking for Alys to come to the rescue again in the future. Easily 5 stars ☺️”

“Nicole was great with Juniper. She was very good at communicating which made me feel very relaxed leaving Juniper with her. She was also so understanding about me having to rearrange due to life being a bit unpredictable. Will definitely be booking again! Thanks Nicole!”

About: I’ve been looking after dogs for the last 5 years, often travelling across the UK to pet sit for friends and family. Whether dogsitting a wee Norfolk terrier in Kent, or catsitting in London, I really value the opportunity to look after your pet during your travels and can provide as frequent updates as you require. I work from home up to 4 days a week so have significant available to board your dog or sit/care for your cat. I work flexibly too so can take out your dog for walks or bathroom breaks as much or as little as they need. I tend to be more of a morning person and am up as early as 0545 to be available to take your pet out for an early morning walk or run as needed. I have a fenced back garden that’s accessible via a shared back staircase but this is infrequently used. I would be more likely to take your dogs out for walks than use this space as the parks nearby are far more pleasant.
“Mark looked after our 2 Labradors in our home when we were on holiday for 5 days. We arranged a visit in advance and Mark was very comfortable around them even when 1 dog was a little nervous and barky. We received regular updates and pics from Mark and the dogs were very spoiled. Mark was very respectful of our home and we came home to a very tidy house. Would 100% recommend Mark to take care of the fur babies, we saw on an outdoor camera their disappointment when he left!”

“Róisín and Edward were lovely with my two dogs from our first meeting until the end of the week-long dogsitting arrangement. This was the first time I left Axel and Hawk for longer than a few days with someone new, while leaving the country. However, I felt relaxed as Róisín and Edward made sure to send me photos of happy dogs on walks and at home, and asked me questions if they were unsure of something (which I always appreciate!).”

“Ian has a really lovely natural way with dogs. Loki took to him instantly. I felt reassured that Loki was being well looked after whilst I attended my mum's funeral. He followed instructions. I will certainly book him again. Thank you”

“Our dog was well looked after and we appreciated the updates from Lucy! Really appreciated Lucy working with our pup through her food anxiety and she left no trace in the flat. It’s great to have someone trustworthy looking after our dog when we travel and so anxiety relieving!”
“Erin was absolutely amazing with Fergus, our rescue greyhound. He loved spending time with them and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Erin's petsitting. They went above and beyond to help us. They stepped in at very short notice, they were on time and just genuinely warm and eager to help. Book Erin! You won't regret it.”

“This was our first time having Clarrie look after Finn and she took wonderful care of him. We could see how happy he was with her from our first meeting and he had a fantastic time with lots of walks and fun. Clarrie kept us updated with great communication from start to finish, which meant we could relax and enjoy our time away knowing he was in safe hands. We would highly recommend Clarrie and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much, Clarrie!”

Glasgow pet owners share their Rover experiences
Lisa was everything whilst on my holiday, Came to meet the cats and everything clicked into place, i just knew i was leaving them with a fantastic individual. When it came time to leave, Lisa reassured me and when away? So many pictures and updates, she was fantastic. Even on the way back, coming in, everything was taken care of, the cats were so happy and well groomed. She is a dream for an anxious cat parent. If you don’t travel, or go away from your kitties much, she is the one i would book in a heartbeat once again. Once again Lisa, thank you so much for everything you’ve done this weekend, it has been an absolute wonder!!

Lucy came to take The Diva that is Miss Amber out for a second walk. Past experience with Amber was that she refused point blank to leave the house. Definitely progress was made on this attempt. Lucy is extremely patient and after executing a few good tummy rubs, Miss Amber decided Lucy was a good enough sort to go for a walk with! Thanks again for all your patience. Things can only get better !

Meta took great care of our two energetic Labradors (one of whom is a puppy) She managed their differing needs brilliantly while pet sitting in our home. Meta is very conscientious and clearly knows how to look after animals. Her Communication was great- I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Meta 😊

Ashlynn just completed a two week house sit for my two Iggys. She was very flexible to accommodate their schedules and followed all care instructions, including administering medication. Ashlynn is very communicative and provided regular updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay, so that we knew the iggys were being well cared for. This included letting me know that one of ours seemed to have an upset stomach and checking what we’d like to do / keeping us updated throughout the day. She also checked in to clarify anything she was unsure about, making sure the iggys’ routines were kept whilst we were away. She was proactive in keeping the iggys’ mentally stimulated, making use of enrichment toys and using known commands. Ashlynn is very friendly and bubbly. She and her partner clearly love dogs and spent a lot of quality time with the iggys during the sit. They also went above and beyond by rescuing a lost dog nearby, taking care of her overnight and reuniting her with her owner. Ashlynn and her partner also very kindly restocked some food for us so that we had provisions after a long journey home, which we really appreciated. This is the second sit Ashlynn has done for us and we’re really grateful for how well the iggys were looked after again.

Erin watched Skye for the first time overnight after a meet and greet. Skye took to her immediately. Erin took great care of her. I also got lots of nice updates and it was clear from the photos that Skye was enjoying herself and there was nothing for me to worry about. Erin herself is absolutely lovely! I can’t wait for her to watch Skye again.

Shauna was so lovely and skye was so happy during her sitting as Shauna sent a video and 2 photos .Shauna arranged a meet and greet before with skye and myself and that was really useful . We felt really comfortable leaving skye with Shauna . Shauna was very experienced and very professional and I will be booking shauna again for skye . Thank you so much Shauna. Kay murdoch
Stephanie was fantastic—she stayed at my home and took great care of Agon. Communication was excellent throughout, and she kept me updated regularly, which I really appreciated. Agon absolutely adores her! Everything went smoothly, and I had complete peace of mind while I was away. No complaints at all—I would happily book with her again!

Róisín & Edward were absolutely fantastic with our two dogs over the weekend. They put our minds at ease with updates & photos meaning we could enjoy our holiday knowing the dogs were in safe hands 🫶🏼 When we picked them up they were both relaxed and happy. Would highly recommend Roisin & Edward 🌟🌟🌟

Bridget recently looked after our Dalmatian for 5 days while we were in Spain, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. It was the first time we’d left our dog with someone she didn’t know, so we were a bit nervous, but couldn’t have asked for more from Bridget. We met up a couple of times beforehand, which really helped put our minds at ease. While we were away, she sent us lots of photos and updates, so we always knew our dog was happy and well looked after. Bridget also took great care of the house while we were gone.

We had Andrea look after Finn for the first time, and he was really happy with her from the start. She kept us very well updated throughout, and it was so reassuring to see how content and comfortable he was. As a vet student, Andrea clearly has a great understanding of animals, and she took very good care of Finn with lots of cuddles and walks. We would highly recommend Andrea and happily book with her again. Thank you Andrea!
