About: After sharing four wonderful years with my rescue Greyhound, Ryan, I sadly had to say goodbye to him in May 2026. He was a huge part of my life and is deeply missed. Like many dog owners, I truly believe dogs are family, and Ryan was always included in everything—from relaxing at home to trips to dog-friendly cafés, pubs, and adventures further afield. Living with a rescue Greyhound gave me first-hand experience of the unique personalities and needs of sighthounds. From understanding their gentle, sensitive nature to their love of a good sprint followed by hours of sofa time, I know how important it is to provide them with a calm, safe, and loving environment. I also spent a lot of time training Ryan and regularly attended neutrality classes with his walker and trainer at Tartan Pets, which helped me develop a strong understanding of dog behaviour and positive handling techniques. Alongside caring for Ryan, I’ve looked after the dogs of family, friends, and neighbours, providing walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays for a variety of breeds and personalities. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog is a Greyhound, Whippet, Lurcher, or any other breed, they’ll be treated as one of the family. I’ll give them the same love, patience, attention, and care that I gave Ryan, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in safe and caring hands! Outside, there’s a large, fully fenced and gated back court for toilet breaks, and we’re just a short walk from several spacious parks and the River Clyde, offering plenty of opportunities for safe, enjoyable walks and enrichment.

Naturally l was very apprehensive but Liam took the time to meet up beforehand, to check that both he & my dog would get along. It was clear that he loves & cares for dogs therefore l was reassured that he would do his best to follow my pet's daily routine regarding exercise, feeding etc. Liam also sent us regular updates & photos which gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to relax on our holiday knowing that Caelo was in safe hands. About: I love being around animals. Had a cat growing up but always wanted a dog. Now that I am working remotely I was able to fulfil my dream and have a small poodle myself. I know how much time and care is needed to look after an animal. Dogs and cats alike. I am currently working remotely. I am flexible and can set my schedule around the needs of your best friend. I can go for a short drop-in visit to make sure they are ok and provide a quick walk or have the time for longer walks. I live in an apartment with my partner. About: I have had dogs in my family pretty much all my life. I lost my last dog in June 2025. His name was Hamish. He was a West Highland Terrier and he was almost 16 years old. From around the age of 9, Hamish was diagnosed with diabetes meaning for the rest of his life he required two shots of insulin everyday which were given to him by me. I love dogs and giving a pooch a home for a small amount of time would be really cool. I currently live alone. I work full time but have a great deal of flexibility in my job. Friday’s are the only day I am away for my home for an extended period of time. Generally 9am to 5pm. All other week days I work in a local high school or in the local community with some home working added in too. I would try my best to fit in with any toilet or walking schedule. I have a fenced in back garden and access to local parks for walking. I currently have no other pets at home and only accept one sitting job at a time. Your dog will be my priority.

About: I did not grow up with cats as pets but did watch a family friend’s when they were away. Just in the last year my parents found two kittens in the barn, adopting them and when I visited I helped take care of them. From 2022-2025 I watched my friend's two cats while she traveled. I'm happy to walk wherever suits you best, whatever park or spot your dog already knows, and the lead stays on unless you tell me otherwise. I also do drop-in visits and pet sitting. With drop-ins I don't just nip in and out food and fresh water, toilet break or litter, a bit of play and some company, and I'm happy to water plants or bring the post in while I'm there. For sitting, I stick as close as I can to their normal feeding times, walks and sleeping spots so the days feel like usual for them. Cats as well, I've got one myself, Preto, so I know they decide how much attention they want, not me. Either way you'll get a message and photos after every visit, and if anything seems a bit off I'll let you know there and then rather than leave you wondering. About: After sharing four wonderful years with my rescue Greyhound, Ryan, I sadly had to say goodbye to him in May 2026. He was a huge part of my life and is deeply missed. Like many dog owners, I truly believe dogs are family, and Ryan was always included in everything—from relaxing at home to trips to dog-friendly cafés, pubs, and adventures further afield. Living with a rescue Greyhound gave me first-hand experience of the unique personalities and needs of sighthounds. Naturally l was very apprehensive but Liam took the time to meet up beforehand, to check that both he & my dog would get along. About: I have had dogs in my family pretty much all my life. I lost my last dog in June 2025. His name was Hamish. He was a West Highland Terrier and he was almost 16 years old. From around the age of 9, Hamish was diagnosed with diabetes meaning for the rest of his life he required two shots of insulin everyday which were given to him by me. I love dogs and giving a pooch a home for a small amount of time would be really cool. I currently live alone. I work full time but have a great deal of flexibility in my job. Friday’s are the only day I am away for my home for an extended period of time. Generally 9am to 5pm. All other week days I work in a local high school or in the local community with some home working added in too. I would try my best to fit in with any toilet or walking schedule. I have a fenced in back garden and access to local parks for walking. I currently have no other pets at home and only accept one sitting job at a time. Your dog will be my priority.

About: Hi, I'm Lauren, I'm 23, a recent Master's graduate who loves running, hill-walking and a cosy movie-night. So, no matter your pet's temperament, I can meet them where they're at! I have had two cats and two dogs growing up, and have spent the last 16 years pet-sitting for neighbours and friends. Having moved away from home, I am absolutely missing having some pets around and so am more than happy to spoil yours! Having had both of my dogs since they were puppies, I have taken part in several puppy-training classes and even managed to get our spaniel to have some decent recall! As I am working from home, I can take pets out for bathroom breaks frequently throughout the day, and am available for ad-hoc calls. I live in a large ground-floor flat, a short walk to Victoria Park and so am happy to spend time throwing a ball around. I have a fenced garden, a smoke-free home and plenty of space for your pet to roam around. We also have a spare bedroom and so if your pet prefers a bit of space, they can chill out on their own terms.
