About: Hi, I'm João, based here in Glasgow. Dog walking is the main thing I do, and honestly it's my favourite part of the week. I like getting to know a dog first, how they are on the lead, how far they actually want to go, what they're funny about. Some dogs want a proper long walk, others are happy pottering about sniffing everything, and either is fine by me. I'm happy to walk wherever suits you best, whatever park or spot your dog already knows, and the lead stays on unless you tell me otherwise. I also do drop-in visits and pet sitting. With drop-ins I don't just nip in and out food and fresh water, toilet break or litter, a bit of play and some company, and I'm happy to water plants or bring the post in while I'm there. For sitting, I stick as close as I can to their normal feeding times, walks and sleeping spots so the days feel like usual for them. Cats as well, I've got one myself, Preto, so I know they decide how much attention they want, not me. About: I got my first dog when I was in primary school and have been taking good care of it until now. It is already 12 years old, so I have experience in looking after elderly dogs. In junior high school, I adopted a sick kitten and had the experience of feeding it milk and giving it injections. I have been adopting it until now and it is already five and a half years old.
