Hey! I'm Lucy and I've been working on Rover for over 4 years. In that time I've worked with over 50 different pets & owners. From rescues, to puppies/kittens, elderly pets and special needs animals. I always grew up with pets in the home. I even walked dogs in my hometown every summer as a teenager! Communication, respect and empathy are my top priorities with all animals.

Lucy popped in on Barney when we had a late night out the house. She was absolutely fantastic and Barney seemed very happy and content when we came home and we loved the wee pics and updates she sent. Would definitely book again!
Lucy came to take The Diva that is Miss Amber out for a second walk. Past experience with Amber was that she refused point blank to leave the house. Definitely progress was made on this attempt. Lucy is extremely patient and after executing a few good tummy rubs, Miss Amber decided Lucy was a good enough sort to go for a walk with! Thanks again for all your patience. Things can only get better !
As expected, the Divine Miss Amber retreated to her bed chamber leaving Lucy desperately trying to prove that she was friend not foe. Miss A is pretty nervous around new people and Lucy did a sterling job trying to win her trust. Rome wasn't built in a day as they say. Lucy made great strides in winning Amber over but she flatly refused to join Lucy on a walk. Lucy made some sensible suggestions on how to proceed in the future. Thank you for being so patient with our gal.
Lucy is great. Good communication and excellent with Woody. We had an easy and enjoyable meet and greet. Woody's first day with Lucy was successful; he had a great time and was well looked after.
Our girls took to Lucy right away at the initial meeting which is almost unheard of for Pip who's a bit shyer than Squeak. Lucy kept us updated with great review cards and loads of cute pictures. She also saved us when we locked ourselves out of our flat 😂 we'd definitely book again :)
Lucy was so attentive and caring to our wee pup. During our initial meeting and greet our dog took to her right away. She gave us a break down of each walk and provided us with lots of pictures. Thank you, Lucy!

Schedule
My schedule is quite flexible, and I'm always willing to consider last-minute bookings. For cat visits, be sure to check availability and book for "drop-ins." If I'm marked as not available on my calendar for a house sitting, please feel free to reach out anyway! Sometimes if I am busy during the evening, for example, I'll set that entire day as unavailable, as that's the only option on the app. ~ NOTE ON HOUSE SITTING PRICES ~ Rover's pricing structure has house sittings at a set price no matter the amount of hours. I have tried to set it at a reasonable amount for a day's sitting, however, overnights may incur additional charges. My goal is always to find a reasonable and fair price for everyone, so know that I am always willing to discuss pricing and what is displayed is not set in stone!

- Be sure to let me know if your pets have any special needs or even just simple preferences! Every piece of information can have value when it comes to making your pets feel as relaxed and safe as possible. In my time working with pets I've seen every kind of dog or cat you can imagine. Know that if you have a pet who can be a bit troublesome, there is no shame in it, and it's the unique character of every animal that makes them all the more loveable!
