And will definitely rebook with her again 😃”

About: Hey! My name is Sara and I love animals - i grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles and fish! Our first family dog was our beautiful Rex, a German shepherd. He was my partner in crime growing up 🥰 I got my beloved sausage dog at the age of 12 and been looking after her for 6 years. Since moving to Scotland, I've not had a chance to have my own dog, but have been regularly looking after my partner Calum's family dog, Bruce. I absolutely love spending time with furry friends 🐕 they bring so much joy and I really miss being around them! I am reliable, caring and safety conscious. You can expect regular updates and many photos 😊 I work as a self employed trainer, supporting and upskilling people with barriers into employment. My schedule is varied but I am in charge of it. During times of my training projects, I am available weekday mornings, evenings and weekends. Otherwise I am available full time. I live in a quiet, top floor flat with my partner Calum. Our property has access to a shared, large fenced garden. We live walking distance from Festival Park and Bellahouston Park, and a short drive away from Pollok Country Park. We don't have pets or kids, so we're able to look after dogs in our flat who are not comfortable around other animals or children. When looking after pets in their own home or taking them for a walk, I am respectful of the environment, I am punctual and communicative. I cant wait to meet yours 🐶
“Ellie was absolutely lovely! Our cat had such a fun week playing and cuddling with her. She sent us so many pictures and kept us updated on Artemis’s mischief in the notes haha. We will absolutely book again next time we are on vacation.”

“Desislava took amazing care of my two cats, Smudge and Pippin. They looked so happy and relaxed when I came back home. She also bought them a wee Christmas present ❤️ can’t recommend enough! Thank you x”

“Hannah took great care of our cat while we were away. She followed the provided instructions and went above and beyond in her care - leaving treat puzzles and providing play and enrichment too. She sent us regular updates and photos which we really appreciated. I would strongly recommend her as a sitter. Thank you so so much!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats all of my life. I have had a dog since I was four and now have two dogs and two cats at my parents home. I frequently look after the, and have also look after other friends/ neighbours pets. When I am working from home, I can walk dogs in the morning, at lunch and in the evening. I can also feed the, and let them out to the toilet at any time of day. When I am in the office, I can walk, feed and let dogs out to the toilet in the morning and the evening, I have a fenced garden, I can easily create dogs if preferred. I am able to come to your home to keep them company, let them out to the toilet or take them for a walk.

About: I previously volunteered with the SPCA. I bring strong attention to detail, patience and a consistent presence to every booking, ensuring each pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available throughout the week, including mornings, afternoon and evenings, and can adjust to your pet’s routine. Whether your pet needs frequent check-ins, long walks or simply companionship, I’m able to provide consistent and reliable care. I keep a calm environment, I follow each pet’s routine exactly as the owner requests including feeding times, walk time and treats. I always priorities, safety, cleanliness, and comfort.
“Sushmita took great care of our boys while we were out of town. The photos of them really helped us as we were quite nervous leaving them alone for several nights in a row. They were fine, thanks to Sushmita! ”

“Lauren is the perfect pup sitter! You can tell she is passionate about what she does and my wee dog adores her already. Great updates, great flexibility, and great value for a truly lovely dog sitter/walker. Thanks so much Lauren, you're the best!”

About: I have had dogs since I was 8! Currently, I spend most of my time with Fondant, a lovely mixed-breed dog. I have experience with both puppies and seniors, calm and energetic, small and large dogs. I’m a PhD student, working exclusively from home, with a flexible schedule. I can easily adapt my study times to go out for a walk, to play a bit or to give medication. I can make pauses for walks and food as many times as needed. I will apply the same rules pets are used to about climbing on furniture, walking with/out the leash etc.

“I cannot recommend Linah highly enough!! She truly went over and above for our cat Jaffa while we were on holiday. Linah built such a trusting relationship with Jaffa that Jaffa was able to show her affection, which is the first time she has done so with another human. Linah is so professional and clearly very good at what she does. Her communication was excellent. We received around 20 photos of Jaffa and videos every day so we felt very reassured she was being well cared for. We will not hesitate to book with Linah again.”

“Christiana is incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with and extra helpful. I trust that my cat Leeloo is safe in Christiana’s hands, and Leeloo likes her, so that’s the seal of approval!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, so I’m confident and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I’m happy to take your furry friend out for walks and fresh air while you’re away, helping them maintain their usual routine. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can feel reassured while you’re gone. I currently work flexible hours alongside my online studies, allowing me to tailor my schedule to suit you and your pet’s needs. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or general care, I’m happy to find an arrangement that works best for you. I’ll make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll keep their space clean and tidy, regularly top up food and water, and take care of things like litter trays, as well as giving everything a quick check before I leave. If I’m walking your pet, I’ll always follow your usual routine and preferences to keep things familiar, safe, and enjoyable for them.
“So happy that Soojin was taking care of the two girls. We got photos and comments everyday which helps a great deal. Upon our return we could see the girls were relaxed and happy, so obviously been well cared for. Thank you Soojin!! 🙏😁”

About: I don’t just "watch" pets; I aim to be their favorite person while you’re away. Having grown up with dogs, including my uncle’s Black Lab, Stitch, who was like my own, I’ve developed a deep, intuitive sense of what animals need to feel safe and happy. What sets me apart is my undivided attention and sensitivity. I’m highly adaptable to an animal's specific "battery" levels. On one hand, I’m the primary playmate for my dad’s dog, Sonny - a typical hyperactive pup who rarely gets tired, but neither do I! I’m always happy to keep the game of fetch going or go for that extra-long walk😊 On the other hand, I have a deep soft spot for seniors. I have a "granny" cat back home (Sprite) who still thinks she’s a kitten, so I’m very comfortable providing the patient, tender care that older pets require. Whether your pet needs a high-energy workout or a quiet, calm companion to give them constant cuddles, I respect their routine and their character above all else. I began my dog-sitting journey at 18 caring for my neighbors' dogs, and I have continued it on and off ever since. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. Since I don’t have fixed working days, I can adapt my availability depending on your needs, whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I usually prefer one to two weeks’ notice when possible, just so I can plan ahead and make sure I can give your pet my full attention. That said, I’m always happy to chat about last-minute requests and see if I can accommodate. I’m available for pet sitting in Glasgow city and surrounding areas that are reachable by public transport, and I always try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, because I truly enjoy this work. When caring for pets, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while you're away. I always start by getting as much information as possible from the owner (things like their routine, personality, feeding schedule, and how much exercise or playtime they usually like). This helps me keep things consistent and stress-free for your pet. For dogs, I love going on long walks and adjusting the activity level depending on their energy, whether they’re super playful or prefer a slower pace. With cats, I enjoy engaging them with small games, while also respecting their space and quiet time. When I stay in a pet owner’s home, I treat both your pet and your space with care and respect. I stick closely to your instructions, keep their routine as normal as possible, and I’m always happy to send frequent updates/have videocalls so you know how they’re doing. My goal is simply to make your pet feel happy and cared for, and to give you peace of mind while you're away.
About: Coming from a family with different breeds of dogs, I’m well versed with both young and mature dogs while being able to understand their needs and attend to each dog accordingly. From dogs that have severe anxiety to the biggest, most playful fluff ball I love them all. Having lived with dogs for years I have no issue with overnight dog care for periods of time and can accommodate appropriate walk and play durations well. Although I work full time I work from home 1/2 of the week and those days are flexible. I’m an early riser so dog walking around the working day is no trouble. I love the outdoors and spend as much time as possible out in the local parks walking or running, going for coffee at the weekend, so dog care fits perfectly here. Living in a flat I have no fenced garden but do have communal green space which I use. My flat is already pet friendly, with nothing around that would cause any danger to dogs likely. In the flat dogs are free to roam free, and are not restricted to crates. Out in public I keep dogs on leads at all times and would never leave a dog tied up alone outside a shop etc. in
About: Hi, I'm Ryan! I'm a remote worker with a lifelong love of dogs. I've cared for dogs of all kinds throughout my life, from energetic puppies to laid-back seniors. I'm comfortable handling various breeds and personalities, and I'm always happy to learn about your dog's unique needs. I'm excited to provide a safe and loving environment for your pet while you're away. * I do not take in last minute overnight bookings (requests that are made on the same day as the stay). If they have a fixed schedule (walks, meals), please let me know. Sticking to your pet's 'normal' as much as possible will provide a comfortable 'holiday' for them with us. My partner and I live in a secure, pet-friendly flat in the city centre. Our flat is free of children and other pets, ensuring your dog receives dedicated attention. We maintain a clean and safe space, keeping any potential hazards out of reach. We also try to only have one dog/ dogs from the same household one at a time w us, this is to ensure they get the maximum care and attention.
“Fantastic cat sitter. The boys love Archie and his girlfriend Lara and they are so go with them, cat whisperers. Loads of photo and video updates while we were away. Our second time booking and will always use! They're the best!”
Glasgow dog owners share their Rover experiences
Jack was an excellent dog sitter. He has a very calm and gentle nature, and it was obvious from the start that he naturally connects well with dogs. He made my dog feel comfortable and relaxed, and I could tell he genuinely cares about animals. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in his care and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and capable dog sitter.

Ella was amazing with my wee rescue frenchie Stevie! Great communcation, a total dog-lover and nothing was a bother; Ella was sensitive to Stevie's needs and all her wee quirks (ailments!). I could tell from the photos Ella sent that they became pals straight away. We look forward to having Ella look after Stevie again sooon and would highly, highly recommend her.

Isabelle helped us very last minute with our reactive dog and we couldn’t have asked for any better! She came round to meet our dog multiple times before dog sitting to ensure he was comfortable with her and then sent lots of updates when we were away. Our dog took to Isabelle very well and it was clear she had a lot of care for him. We can’t thank you enough!

Andrea has been amazing, I genuinely can’t fault her. Before even dog sitting for me, she took the time to come and meet Kali, which I really appreciated. She’s been so understanding and helpful, and I honestly can’t describe how grateful I am to have met her ☺️ She’s also such a lovely person, kind, warm and really easy to trust which makes such a difference when leaving your dog in someone else’s care. Kali absolutely loves her and has taken to her so well, which says everything. She definitely goes the extra mile and always makes sure Kali is well looked after, which puts me completely at ease while I’m at work (as dog mums, we always worry 🥹). She checks in regularly, helps Kali learn new tricks, makes sure she’s fed and watered and even takes her out in a sling while she’s waiting for her vaccines. You can tell she genuinely cares about animals, and that means everything. I would definitely recommend her and will 100% be rebooking!!! Thankyou so much Andrea 🫶🥹

Alys was amazing!! She came to meet us before her first sit with Kali, which I really appreciated. She’s is a young pup and it’s not easy and she smashed it and helped out where was needed, my pup was sleeping for 2 and a half hours after her visit ☺️🐶 would highly recommend!! And will definitely rebook with her again 😃

Mamaati is a brilliant and caring sitter who looked after Griff and Mac so well. It was particularly great that Mamaati has experience of dogs who are older, and also those who aren't great with other dogs. Looking forward to booking again in the future. Highly recommended. Thanks so much, Mamaati.

Jessica was absolutely amazing! She was great about making a flexible schedule work and was prompt with texts and updates. Our little (60kg) dog normally is shy of strangers but she instantly took to Jessica as if they had been lifelong friends, so we knew she was in good hands. Jessica was also great with taking care of a unique medical need for our dog which we are greatly appreciative of. Would highly recommend and we look forward to booking Jessica in the future!
Caroline was brilliant with my dog cooper and I would highly recommend her. Caroline was always responsive in communication and was accomodating when arranging a meet and greet. Caroline showed a real interest and curiosity about cooper and his needs, and was caring about his welfare. Cooper is newly being left at home while i go out to work, having previously been used to me working from home and is currently experiencing anxiety, which Caroline was patient and understanding of, and was willing to spend extra time to make sure cooper was comfortable. I believe that Caroline is a responsible dog sitter, who will prioritise the welfare and safety of any dog or pet in her care.

Hin Chi Jacobi fed, walked, and cared for my beloved Hans with exceptional professionalism and genuine kindness. My dog couldn’t have been in better hands, and Hin’s dedication was clear in every detail. Even though the visit was meant to be shorter, he spent extra time to move at my elderly dog’s pace. I highly recommend him and truly see a bright future ahead of him in veterinary and animal care.

Carla was great (and very patient) with Principessa and Zuzu. This is the first time they have been left for more than an hour with someone new and they did not really settle until just before I returned. But they were both very happy with Carla (as was I) and I know that after repeat visits, they will get the idea and settle more quickly. I have already booked Carla again.

Rachel was very quick to respond to my initial message, and went out her way to come meet our pup before dog sitting so they could get to know eachother before. Very good at updating us and taking pics of their time together! Angus seemed very content when we got home which is a great sign ! Will definitely be booking her again :)

Even before Isabella dropped in to see Lenda her communication was fabulous. On the day she arrived promptly and sent a video/photo of Lenda. Everything went well and Lenda was very happy. I will certainly rebook Isabella in the future and thoroughly recommend her to everyone.
