Jack looked after our cat, Jura, for a week. He came over to see us before, meet Jura and find out all about the flat and what he would need to do a few days before we left for our holiday. He was attentive with Jura while he was there and asked me lots of questions, all while taking diligent notes. While we were away he sent us regular updates with photos of Jura. She can be fussy, but she fell asleep on him, which she only does when very comfortable around people. If there was ever a testament that she is comfortable and finds him calming, that has to be it! I cannot recommend Jack enough for looking after your pet and being very considerate of your home as well.
Jack was an excellent dog sitter. He has a very calm and gentle nature, and it was obvious from the start that he naturally connects well with dogs. He made my dog feel comfortable and relaxed, and I could tell he genuinely cares about animals. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in his care and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and capable dog sitter.
I am more than happy to provide a detailed recommendation for Jack as a pet sitter. Jack has cat-sat for me on several occasions, and every single time the experience has been excellent. My cat is a very nervous and sensitive animal who usually takes a long time to warm up to new people. From the very beginning, Jack showed a calm, patient, and gentle approach, always taking the time to understand her personality and respect her boundaries. Thanks to this care and consistency, it did not take long at all for her to feel safe and comfortable, which is something I do not take lightly. What really stands out about Jack is the level of responsibility and attentiveness shown throughout each stay. I always felt confident that my cat’s routine was being followed carefully, from feeding and playtime to keeping her environment calm and familiar. I received reassurance that she was not only being looked after, but genuinely cared for. In addition to caring for my cat, Jack was also entrusted with access to my flat. Everything was always left clean, secure, and exactly as I had left it. This level of trust is extremely important to me, and Jack proved to be reliable, respectful, and highly mindful on every occasion. Overall, I cannot recommend Jack highly enough. Anyone looking for someone dependable, kind, and attentive to look after their pet would be incredibly lucky to have Jack. I would 10,000% recommend Jack to care for any animal and would not hesitate to ask for help again in the future.

Schedule
I work from home up to 4 days a week so have significant available to board your dog or sit/care for your cat. I work flexibly too so can take out your dog for walks or bathroom breaks as much or as little as they need. I tend to be more of a morning person and am up as early as 0545 to be available to take your pet out for an early morning walk or run as needed.

I have a fenced back garden that’s accessible via a shared back staircase but this is infrequently used. I would be more likely to take your dogs out for walks than use this space as the parks nearby are far more pleasant.
A typical day
I’d start the day with your pet’s preferred activity ensuring they get the walk, watering, or meal that they need to start their day well. I’m able to accommodate my work schedule to whatever works for your pet and then build my work day around it, taking them out for second, third or forth walks/watering as needed.
