“My dog, Sadie, had the best time staying with Roisin and Eddie. I had never left her with anyone except family before so was quite nervous. I didn't need to be, after reading the reviews I felt that Roisin and Eddie would be a good match, this was further confirmed when I spoke with them before the visit. Sadie can be quite nervous but took to them both straight away. I was sent regular updates and photos during the stay, which just showed how well she was being cared for. When I went to collect her at the end of the stay I expected her to be excited to see me.. It was the opposite, she sniffed me then went and got into her bed at their house, I think she wanted to stay longer!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, definitely recommend to anyone needing their dog cared for.”

About: I work from home, so your pet won’t be left alone and will get plenty of attention throughout the day. There’s a park right beside my flat, which makes walks easy and regular. I live in a spacious tenement flat with one flatmate who’s usually out working, so it’s a calm environment. My bedroom is very large (it used to be the living room), so there’s lots of space for pets to relax. I’m patient, responsible, and used to caring for others from looking after my little brother. I’m good with both young pets who need consistency and older pets who need a bit more gentle care. Your pet will be safe, comfortable, and well looked after. 🐾 The most important aspect is that I got a dog from the age of 9 named Storm. Since it was my dog I had to walk my foxy Labrador every 2nd day up until the age of 18. I've recently just started hosting Via online apps so reviews are coming soon! Pet care fits easily into my routine as I work from home, so I’m around at all hours of the day. The most I leave my flat is for 2 hours sometimes 3, this is obviously for fitness and exercise activities. This means walks, feeding, playtime, and toilet breaks can all be done consistently without rushing. I usually structure my day with regular breaks, which works perfectly for dog walks or giving pets attention and company. Evenings are relaxed, so there’s plenty of time for longer walks or cuddles. Weekends are flexible too, so I can give pets extra time and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort are really important to me. I live in a secure tenement flat with a calm environment and plenty of indoor space for pets to relax. The park right beside my flat means outdoor time is easy and safe without needing to travel far. Since I work from home, pets are never left alone for long periods. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely whether that’s feeding routines, medication, training rules, or preferred walking routes. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they feel settled, safe, and cared for while they’re with me.

About: I’ve looked after dogs my entire life, often sitting for family members or neighbours. Been around dogs of any size and very comfortable handling any breed. Very happy to cater to your dogs needs. Im currently a student missing the pups back home so looking to get involved in sitting. Availability often all day Tuesday, Thursday afternoons, Friday mornings and at the weekends. Could also be available for shorter visits on other days so just ask away! I have a fenced garden and multiple nearby parks to my house so could perfectly accommodate your pup if needed. Very perceptive to hazards and how your dog will react to situations so very willing to accommodate and stick to your advice!
“Michael looked after our 10 month old working spaniel puppy and I can tell she had an absolute blast and had lots of fun. Michael kept me up to date throughout the day sending lots of photos which was great to see and helped us enjoy our weekend away! Michael asked all the questions before we left about her routine n likes so Alba would feel at home! Got her back and she is already shattered! Will defo be using Michael again in the future”

“Idioa kept me updated with daily updates and photos of Tilly which put my mind at ease whilst we were away. Tilly is nervous around others but completely took to Idoia and Nick and enjoyed all the fuss and attention they gave her in our abscence. We came home to very well looked after dog. Would highly recommend and will most certainly be booking again. Thank you 😊”

“I booked Milena to look after my cat for the day while some work was being done at home, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. My cat came home calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. He settled back into his routine straight away, which says a lot. Would definitely recommend and use again! Thank you Milena :)”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small pets over the years — from raising my own dog in high school to cat-sitting for a friend’s kitten for a few months last year. I’ve also owned hamsters for several years, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes. I work from home Monday to Thursday, so I’m around most of the week to keep pets company and stick to their routines. It’s easy for me to take them out for walks, feed them on schedule, or just spend time keeping them calm and happy during the day. My weekends are usually flexible too (Weekend availability varies week to week, depending on my own schedule) so I can help with longer stays when needed. I have a fenced backyard that’s perfect for quick playtime or fresh air breaks. There’s also a park nearby that I can easily drive to, so I can take dogs for longer walks when they need extra exercise or a change of scenery.
“Daisy has had another great stay with Alice! Highly recommend her services and any pet owner will be safe in the knowledge that their pet will be well taken care of during their stay!”

About: I adore dogs and cats, and I love giving them the attention, play and exercise they deserve. I’m very active so particularly suited for dogs who need extra long walks. I work from home, in the West End, so dogs can be with me and walked regularly, and I can also be on call to visit or stay with pets. As I work from a laptop I can also do day time house sitting on occasion. I live in a traditional 1st floor tenement, with a small garden. There are lots of parks and good walks nearby. I don’t currently have pets of my own.
“Our fur baby Patch stayed with Holly and Thanos for 9 nights. On our first meeting we immediately hit it off with Holly and Thanos who have lots of home boarding experience. We felt relaxed on our holiday knowing Patch was in safe hands and the daily photos and check in were real treat. I would highly recommend this lovely couple and have already booked patch in fir another 5 day stay in March.”

“Ryan was completely brilliant. Very responsive. We met the evening before and chatted through Fergus’s day. Lots of updates during his time with Ryan and happy pup at the end of the day. What more could you want? Really grateful to Ryan for making this easy.”

About: Hello, I'm Jack! I've had various breeds of dog and cat when growing up and love looking after pets of all shapes, sizes and personalities! I am happy to accommodate your pet's routines around feeding and walking. Happy to take them on long walks exploring the area as well as further afield if that's their thing! I live in a quiet part of the southside with access to nearby parks. I can take up to 2 pets from the same household. I will not mix pets from different households. I work from Monday to Friday and can accommodate your pet on weekday evenings from 6 pm to 11 pm. I can also look after your pet from Friday 6 pm through to Sunday 10 pm. My flat has a fenced off, clean and grassed back garden. Pets are allowed on furniture. My kitchen and living room are open plan so there's room for them to run around.
“Poppy had the best time with Daniel and his partner! She was well looked after and the bonus of another golden retriever to keep her company. They kept in touch with photos and letting me know how she was doing. I’d had a stressful and busy weekend with moving house and they were very relaxed about the timings of drop off and collection as well! I’d highly recommend them as dog sitters”

“Amy looked after our 8 month old Border Terrier recently and we had a fantastic experience with her. From start the finish, the communication was great and it totally put us at ease as this was the first time we left our pup with someone we didn’t know. She was amazing with our pup and it was so lovely to know that they were in good hands! We have already booked Amy again!”

“Gavin and Ariana are a lovely couple and Peggy throughly enjoyed her stay with them. Peggy can be nervous of men and they took the time with her to make her feel comfortable and cared for. Peggy will definitely be back. I highly recommend Gavin and Ariana. 🐾”

“Leonora was absolutely amazing with Eliza! From the moment I dropped her off, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such capable and loving hands. Leonora kept me updated throughout the day with consistent messages and tons of adorable photos and fun videos of Eliza playing. It was clear she was having the best time! When I picked Eliza up, she was happy, calm and tired from all the play and attention. Leonora’s care and attention to detail we’re top notch and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter!”

“Amazing, Bertie loved his stay with Elizabeth..With regular updates it was clear to see he was very happy and being very well taken care of. Will definitely come back to Elizabeth as someone we trust with Bertie. Thank you 👍”

Kate has been absolutely amazing with my dog Brownie. When I had to move countries recently, I had no family or friends who could take care of him. I arranged a cargo company to bring Brownie to me, but due to an unfortunate situation the flight has been delayed, and throughout all this time Kate has continued to look after him with care and kindness. Knowing that Brownie is safe, loved, and well looked after has meant the world to me during a very stressful time and I will always be grateful for her generosity and patience. I truly owe her one for everything she’s done. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Jade and Richard took great care of our Daku! She looked settled from the moment we dropped her off. We got frequent updates and pictures about how she was doing. They took her out for a nice hike one day when the weather was nice. You could tell Daku was having a great time. We felt super confident leaving our girl with them and would definitely recommend them!

Gavin and Ari were great hosts, sending regular updates. Giving us detailed updates of how Marsie was doing which was really reassuring. They had a really good set up that let Marsie have a mix between sunbathing in bed by the window and snuggles on the couch. Would use again for sure!

Athena has looked after my dog Sherlock several times. She is enthusiastic, warm and very experienced. Her communication is excellent. I can leave my high energy dog with her confident that she is more than capable of caring for him. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Shivani was the perfect sitter. When I returned for my 7 week old kittens they were happy, clean, playful and their litter tray was clean and their food eaten. It was clear they had been not just cared for but loved and seen. I will 100% be leaving my 2 kittens with Shivani again. The kittens were given the freedom to roam and play and even sleep on the sitters bed, cuddling up peacefully when they needed comfort. When other pets were around and they seemed overwhelmed they had their own room complete with dark hiding spaces to retreat to, space to run and play and a clean, temperate environment. I cannot recommend Shivani enough.

Rosetta was fantastic with our dog. We have a rescue that is incredibly anxious around unfamiliar people. Rosetta created a calm environment and presence and was able to deal with challenging behaviour from the get go. She provided regular updates throughout. I would recommend her to anyone

Dane was absolutely amazing with Harper! She’s quite clingy and needy especially right now with her injury, but Dane handled her needs perfectly. He was so attentive with her medicine and kept us updated which really put our minds at ease. Also, it was such a kind touch that Dane cleaned all of Harper’s bowls and containers! ☺️✨ We ended up needing to extend her stay to finish some errands and Dane was so flexible and understanding about it. He’s incredibly reliable and thoughtful, we can’t thank him enough! 👏🏼✨🙏🏼

This is the second time I have used Elizabeth for boarding Lu Lu, she is a lovely lady, she really looked after Lu Lu sent pictures & videos to let me see how LuLu was doing . I could see she was doing great with Liz as I knew she would. I will definitely use her again and would highly recommend her.

After some time reviewing potential dog boarders for my Sprocker Spaniel, Clyde, I opted to go with Daniel. This was my first time using the Rover.com site, and I was obviously very anxious. However, I know my dog inside out, and I knew he would be okay with the right person. Everyone who knows Clyde always comments on how well behaved he is, which gave me reassurance that I was making the right decision. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to book at very short notice. I narrowed my options down based on locality, as it was important to me that Clyde would be walked in areas he was familiar with. After reviewing Daniel’s online profile and the services he offered, his genuine care and compassion immediately stood out — that was an instant appeal. His nightly boarding rate was also very competitive compared to other options. Daniel responded quickly to my enquiry. Despite the late request, he agreed to provide the service, pending a mutually agreed introductory walk with Clyde. We met in a popular park close to his home — one that Clyde knows and enjoys. This gave me the opportunity to demonstrate Clyde’s behaviour both on and off the lead, his interactions with other dogs and members of the public, and the commands used to manage him. It was an excellent meeting and completely sealed the deal. Boarding started the following day. Daniel was fantastic at keeping me updated with regular text messages and photographs, which were fully appreciated. There were no difficulties whatsoever. He also kindly offered flexibility with a midnight pick-up, which I was extremely grateful for. To be told that Clyde was an absolute pleasure to look after is every dog owner’s delight. I would have no hesitation in booking Daniel again for any future dog care requirements. My only criticism is that the service he provides — and the quality and continuity of care he offers — is far too cheap! His prices should absolutely reflect the professional, commendable service he clearly enjoys delivering. Five-star rating without question. I will definitely be using Daniel for all future dog sitting needs and will be recommending him to others.

We had our young lurcher Milo stay with Georgia and her partner for a weekend. From the initial enquiry the communication was quick and easy and Georgia was happy to meet up ahead of the boarding so Milo can meet her. Milo was in great hands and we needed no concerns about his meds or requirements with his injured hip as Georgia asked all the important questions ahead of time to be prepared. She and her partner took great care of Milo and he loved the cuddles by the looks of the updates we got! We will be happy to book in with Georgia again.
