“Amy looked after our 8 month old Border Terrier recently and we had a fantastic experience with her. From start the finish, the communication was great and it totally put us at ease as this was the first time we left our pup with someone we didn’t know. She was amazing with our pup and it was so lovely to know that they were in good hands! We have already booked Amy again!”

“Alice was amazing with our dog Daisy! Daisy was so well looked after and settled instantly. We were away for 8 nights and Alice sent us regular photos and updates. This was the first time we used Rover and I’m so glad we found Alice and won’t hesitate to board Daisy again with her. We were delayed travelling back and Alice kindly offered to take Daisy for an additional night without hesitation. Thank you Alice for taking such good care of Daisy 🐶”

“Flóki had a great time with Kiera again! He is really settling in with her now. She took great care of him and made sure he got his medications and meals when he should have. We already have him booked in again!!”

“Anna looked after Alfie for a night and a day at very short notice. It was her first time with him and everything went so well. All the arrangements and communication were quick, easy and efficient. When we dropped him off, he trotted away with her without a look over his shoulder and when we came back to pick him up, he was obviously happy and relaxed. Alfie is an easy and affectionate dog at home but can be a little difficult out and about as he’s usually reactive with other dogs he sees out on walks. Anna clearly managed him brilliantly and we’d be very happy for her to look after him again. She sent us lots of pictures and updates so we had no worries while we were away. Thanks Anna!”

“Shivani cared for Carbon as if he were her own, and I truly couldn’t have asked for more. She kept me constantly reassured with regular photos and videos, which meant so much, especially as he’s still only four months old. It’s not easy looking after a young puppy with endless energy and curiosity, but she was incredibly patient, calm and understanding throughout. She handled all his playful mischief with kindness and good humour, and even went out of her way to buy him treats. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and invests real time and attention into their care. I came back to a happy, confident little pup, and that says everything. I would wholeheartedly trust her with Carbon again. Thank you Shivani.🙏💖🌸”

“Ryan and Felicia are so amazing. We had to find someone to watch Murphy at short enough notice. He was treated like Ryan’s own dog. He has a way with dogs and goes way above and beyond. He gave Murphy at least an hour of exercise every day. He sent us pics and videos. We aren’t from Glasgow and have a limited circle of people but now we know we have someone we can trust xx thank you so much for looking after our best pal.”

About: I used to have a dog (a goldie boy), look after my friend's and neighbour's dogs including rescure dogs before. I have been interested in dog training and have been educating myself am able to control dogs including teenage dogs in public and at home. I am able to run a dog every morning and evening for their good health. As a full-time professional, I’m available to care for dogs on weekends and bank holidays—perfect for those who need a trusted carer during their time away. Locations in the city center, West End, or anywhere easily accessible by subway suit me best. I ensure each dog gets the care and attention they deserve! I live in a rental flat where dogs are not permitted, so I’m unable to offer overnight care at my place. However, I’m more than happy to look after dogs during the day or take them for walks outside—it’s no problem at all!

About: I have grown up with dogs - my family often had up to 4 dogs at a time. My parents currently have 3 labs who I take care of when they are away. I work from home 2 days a week - I enjoy going for long walks on weekends and have a car to take them to walks outside Glasgow. I have no pets myself. The dog will have access to the living room/dining room, kitchen and hall. They will be allowed on the sofa in the living room, it is very light and spacious. It is a quiet area with other dog owners in the building.
“Anna has looked after Lola a few times now and we are so happy with her, she’s so gentle and caring with Lola who needs a bit more time to settle. She’s enjoyed every stay with Anna.”

“jiawen was amazing and incredibly accommodating - she met me the night before so P my dog who is nervous when first meeting people could get to know her before I dropped them off the next morning. Both dogs loved her and I got loads of updates and I could see how happy my girls were. I was able to enjoy my concert knowing my dogs were safe and having a lovely time! Thank you !!! ❤️❤️”

“Holly looked after our 7 year old lab Ziggy for two weeks and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again. He was clearly very well looked after with lots of walks and adventures. The pile of sticks outside was testament to that. Thanks again!”

“Tommy absolutely loved his time with Megan, infact he didn't want to leave, Megan provided updates and pic's of his overnight stay and I felt totally relaxed leaving Tommy for the night, will deffinetly be using Megan again and Tommy cant wait for the next time. Would 100% recommend Megan to anyone looking for a dog sitter.”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Glasgow
We are so glad we found Maria to look after Asha. She loved her as soon as she met Asha and treated her like her own. Knowing how much she adored Asha made us feel immediately at ease and comfortable leaving our rescue with someone new. Maria’s communication was excellent, with lots of lovely updates and pictures to keep us informed when we were on holiday. Asha had the best time getting lots of cuddles, treats and brilliant walks. Our experience was so positive and I would highly recommend Maria to others looking for a dog sitter.

Ryan is our favorite dog sitter. He’s absolutely brilliant with our dog — incredibly kind, caring and reliable. We always feel completely at ease leaving our dog with him, knowing he’ll be very well looked after and given plenty of attention. Our dog absolutely adores Ryan and so happy to see him. We couldn’t recommend him more highly!

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitters than Demi and Luke for our two dachshund! From the very beginning, I felt completely reassured that they were in safe and caring hands. I received regular updates and lovely photos. It was obvious that extra time, care, and attention were given to both of my dogs, making sure they were happy, comfortable, and well looked after. Thank you so much for taking such good care of them. I would 💯 recommend and will definitely be booking again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Elizabeth is a great sitter. She looks after your dog like its her own. I have rebooked her a few times and know my dog will be well looked after and it puts my mind at ease and not worry that she is ok, because I know she will be. I would definitely recommend Elizabeth as a sitter.

Shivani was a fantastic sitter. She listened to my dogs needs and was very patient and understanding with him. He is a very anxious dog and settled in with Shivani and her partner very quickly. He looked very comfortable and happy in all photos and videos provided. I would definitely book Shivani again, thank you so much.

I couldn’t have asked for a better person than Belen to look after our baby Bramble. This was my first time using Rover so very wary. Belen sent me pics and videos every other day of Bramble on walks and playing at home alongside her own dog. I could see Bramble was very happy and was being cared by how happy and relaxed she looked. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Belén again in the future.

Alfie has just stayed with Sakshi for the first time for two nights while we went away. I’m quite sure he didn’t want to come home when I went to pick him up! He was a very happy dog and had clearly had a lovely calm and relaxing time with Sakshi and Ash. It was all a bit last minute (our fault!) and Sakshi was brilliant with communicating and organising. We went for a meet and greet visit which made us feel very confident about leaving Alfie with her. Sakshi kept up updated throughout and we’d be very happy to leave Alfie with her again. Highy recommended 😊

I was terrified about leaving my dog. In 4 years, he hadn't been with anyone other than myself and 2 trusted people from the family. Cathie and Daniel were understanding and kind from the get go, but they truly went above and beyond my expectations when it came to Frankie's care. They've now lifted a massive weight off my shoulders and, after nearly two years, I finally have someone that I trust to look after my boy and I can consider travelling again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
