A devout furry-friend enthusiast!
I have grown up around animals, having my own cat Bella (the tortoiseshell) from the age of 3 years old and my dog Frankie (the border collie) from the age of 12. As a border collie, Frankie is a dog who needs a lot of exercise and ever since he joined our family I have been consistently partly responsible for ensuring he is well walked and exercised. As well as this, I am no stranger to picking up after him, giving him baths, feeding him and now that I am older, I often take him in my car to the beach where he gets to play in the sea, chasing his ball and interacting with other furry-friends. Frankie is a very sociable dog, so quite often I have to ensure that whenever he interacts with any other animals, both him and his new found friends are playing safely - and if not, have the initiative to react quickly and remove him from the situation. Bella, though definitely fond of attention and being fed, is far more independent than Frankie, who needs a lot more stimulation and attention which I am more than happy to provide. I have also on several occasions been left responsible for taking care of my Uncle's two cats, Fifi and Teddy. From 2018 until the present, my uncle and aunt have left me in charge of taking care of their beloved girls whenever they head off on their holidays, I have my own key, and will let myself into their flat, cleaning out their litter tray and ensuring the cats have been fed and watered twice a day, as well as making sure they still receive their daily quota of love and pets. Furthermore, as someone who is fully aware of the love and care myself and my fellow pet-owners have for our animals, I would ensure to follow any instructions provided and making sure I can gather as much information from you about the needs of your furry-friend to make sure our time together goes as smoothly as it can.

I will ensure that any animal I spend time with is taken care of in a way which not only stimulates and keeps them feeling entertained and loved, but that also ensures their safety and well-being. Ensuring that I follow all instructions you provide - with reference to things like feeding, house rules and boundaries etc. I would also strive to gather as much information as I could about your animals personality, the things they enjoy and even the places they like to go, making sure that I am able to build a bond with them, allowing them to feel comfortable with me. Parks closest to me for walks etc include Kelvingrove park and the Botanical gardens, however I am more than willing to discover new places or staying in areas wherever your animal may be happiest.

Jessica was absolutely fantastic with our little cat Fig! Fig can be shy but she took to Jessica immediately, and we got lovely updates throughout our time away and came home to a very contented cat. Jessica went above and beyond to make sure Fig got lots of play time (which she loves) and everything she needed - thanks again Jessica! ☺️
Dexter was in great hands with Jessica. She was very friendly and clearly has a love for dogs. Would definitely buy ok Jessica again. Thanks for looking after my boy so well.
Jessica was absolutely amazing! She was great about making a flexible schedule work and was prompt with texts and updates. Our little (60kg) dog normally is shy of strangers but she instantly took to Jessica as if they had been lifelong friends, so we knew she was in good hands. Jessica was also great with taking care of a unique medical need for our dog which we are greatly appreciative of. Would highly recommend and we look forward to booking Jessica in the future!
We are so pleased we found Jessica on Rover for a short notice house sitting request. Ahead of our trip away, her communication was quick, friendly and helpful. Our dog is very nervous and can be reactive to certain situations and not only was Jessica pretty relaxed about dealing with a reactive dog, she took time to get to know him and his triggers. We had regular updates while we were away and returned to the house exactly as we left it and a dog that I'm not sure had even noticed we'd been away! I would happily recommend Jessica to anyone looking for someone dependable to look after their home and pet(s).
Such a good dog sitter, gave us updates and cute photos of the dogs throughout the day, I feel bad as at the end of the day the dogs had a bit of a fight when we returned not her fault at all, I think they just got too excited but such a good carer

Schedule
I have just recently graduated from university and have also left my part time job. Thus, for the meantime I am readily available essentially any time to take care of your adorable animals! I do have a few holidays scattered across the summer but apart from that my calendar is wide open. I will temporarily be moving home for at least a few months. However, I am from Irvine, which is only about an hours drive away + I also have accommodation in Glasgow available if I am ever needed for pet sitting services so there will be no problem for me coming to take care of your animals :)
