“Excellent service from Becky, as we have had before with her. Great job looking after our two cats while we were on holiday - both healthy and happy on our return and the communication and photos from Becky were great.”

“Luka was great with Maisie, she was initially hesitant to interact with him but he was calm and confident with her. Maisie was happy for him to be in her space by the end of the drop in - it normally takes a few hours for her to accept a new human in her home, for Luka it was about 20 minutes!”

“Jennifer pops in to check on my dog, Kobe, a few days each week, and I genuinely couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She’s reliable, caring, and fantastic with him, and Kobe absolutely loves seeing her. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy to look after your pet, I’d definitely recommend getting in touch with Jennifer.”

“Iona took care of my cats perfectly when I am away! was always responsive and prompt to communicate, sent me amazing updates. Iona knew how to create the contact with the cats last days they become more friendly with each other. I will surely work again and trust my cats with her.”

About: Throughout my life I've always had one family member who had 4 legs and extensive body hair! I currently have a rescue Romanian boy(neutered) called Murphy who adores other dogs so he would love to help me in making your 'family member' feel at home. I have experience with senior dogs - my last rescue, Alfie reached 18 yrs- and also shy, anxious ones too. I have a car and am only 10mins away from a beach with forest nearby as well as living beside a large park and woodland walk. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and am enthusiastic about offering a service which will benefit other dog-lovers. I currently work 2 days per week (Mon&Tues) but would be available for the remainder of the week, both day and overnight. I would be flexible around the Mon/Tues however as I generally work from home, but would prefer Wed-Sun so I can fully focus on your dog's happiness and welfare. I have an enclosed garden which is large with lots of shrubs etc providing plenty sniff spots! I obviously ensure that my home is free from hazards eg cleaning products, fire safety etc . My dog Murphy is neutered, loves other dogs and will provide reassurance and fun....he's shy at first but loves to play.
About: I have had a dog of my own for two years and he had to stay back in Greece with my family, so I really miss him. I love spending time with dogs, especially playing and going on walks with them. I am currently a uni student attending my third year in Pharmacology. My timetable consists of an average of 1-2 hours of uni work/lectures so I have plenty of free time during my day. My flat is pretty spacious and I live with my two flatmates that are also dog lovers. The environment is really cosy and the dogs will be sleeping in my room either next to my bed or with me if they wish to, so they can have company and feel comfortable at all times.
“Amber was fantastic with my dog Cooper! She stopped by for a drop-in and he was so excited to see her — tail wagging, happy dancing, the whole thing. She sent photos right away, which I really appreciated. I’ll admit, Cooper is definitely a pampered pooch, but none of that was too much for Amber. She handled him perfectly. Highly recommend her — Cooper’s already hoping she comes back soon! 🐶💛”

“Isidora was fantastic with our energetic border collie puppy. She communicated with us lots and kept us informed. We loved seeing the photos of Ace having fun with Isadora. Highly recommend.”

I have been trusted to walk and sit pets for family and many loving pet owners like yourself. 🥰 I love the joy a pet can bring into a home and I enjoy the long walks we have I started pet sitting as way to fill my days with something that makes me happy and can hopefully help you out. It quickly became my top priority and I will always put you and your pet first !!☺️ Please let me know if there is any specific schedule you and your fur baby have and i will definitely stick to their routine 👍🏼 I will always be there to keep your adorable pets company. I am confident in lead walking if that suits the needs of your beloved pets and I am happy to work on lead training and recall if that is also something you do with them ☺️
“Very happy to make the link with Scott. I am sure that he and Sorin will get on like a house on fire! I have every confidence in him. He clearly loves the company of dogs and knows how they tick! Will be happy to arrange future visits and walks with him in the weeks ahead.”
About: My journey as a pet sitter and dog walker started of in the cafe were I used to work. We had many costumers coming in with dogs and that's when I realised how much joy they brought me. I started offering my coworkers and my regular customers to look after their pets whenever they needed me to. This way I gained an experience in working with various types of dogs and learnt to accommodate all of them in a unique way. I have experience working with dogs of various sizes, special needs dogs, rescues, socially anxious dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. I can assure you that your dog will feel safe, calm and happy with me :) I work in a coffee shop so my work schedule isn't very busy and changes often. Please contact me to arrange time that suits you! I feel dog's needs and limits. I can assure that I'll do my best so your pet feels safe and comfortable. I will take into account all the features of your pet and all your requirements as to how you would like your pet to spend time with me. To ensure comfort and safety, I always request meet and greet with new customers. Unfortunately I don’t take last minute bookings with new customers.

About: I've grown up with dogs and have a real love for them. I currently live in a flat, so any dog staying with me would need to be fully toilet trained. I can offer plenty of long and frequent walks, and your dog would also need to be dog-friendly, as I have two rescue dogs at home. As a university student, I have a consistent routine that allows me to give dogs plenty of time and attention throughout the day. I live alone with my own rescue dog in a flat, and we’re lucky to have a bit of green across the road for outdoor time. My dog is well-socialised, any visiting dog would need to be dog-friendly. I also take regular, long walks throughout the week to keep dogs active and happy. Your dog will be safe, cared for, and treated like my own. I live in a second-floor flat with a secure garden, just a short walk from Baxter Park — perfect for regular walks and outdoor play. I make sure dogs feel safe and settled in my home, giving them space to relax as well as plenty of attention. I’m happy to take them out for toilet breaks every couple of hours or as needed, and I always follow their usual routines to help them feel comfortable and at ease.

Malin was great and even helped me with a last minute additional visit to make sure the door stopper was in place that gave me a great relief and guaranteed my cat won’t get locked in one room for 24 hours, I got photos and updates about my cat daily. I wasn’t worried about anything and so will definitely be back :)

Holly is an exceptional pet sitter, she looked after my cat while I was away over the weekend and followed our routine and all instructions perfectly, putting me and my fussy boy completely at ease. She sent lots of photos and videos of him being his goofiest self showing how comfy he was with her from the very beginning, and gave me lots of updates to put my anxious mind to rest. Holly also went above and beyond, to make the space clean and welcoming for me coming home. I would thoroughly recommend her and will be booking with her again! Thank you Holly! 🌟😻

Alice was just lovely from the off; we met before I went on holidays to chat about Ollie and his needs, she is a great communicator and reassured me that Ollie would be in good hands. Great updates every time she looked in on him and gave him plenty of head scratches as he so enjoys. I would highly recommend Alice and when I am away again I will absolutely check if she is available to look aftr O again. Just lovely :)

Luka is an absolute lifesaver! Had to book last minute for some drop ins so my dog wouldn't be home alone all day. Luka came over first for a meet and greet which was great. Before and after the drop ins we had great communication, and Luka was also aware of the effect of the heat and adapted their drop in accordingly to make sure that Ghost didn't overheat. Positive experience, will book again!

Jennifer pops in to check on my dog, Kobe, a few days each week, and I genuinely couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She’s reliable, caring, and fantastic with him, and Kobe absolutely loves seeing her. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy to look after your pet, I’d definitely recommend getting in touch with Jennifer.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Dundee choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
