About: I’ve been caring for and walking dogs since I was 15, and at 16 I started my own small dog walking service for neighbours and friends. I’m still in touch with many of those dogs today and truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I’ve completed a HND in Animal Care, where I gained hands-on experience with dogs, including training as a key part of my course. This has given me a strong understanding of dog behaviour and how to work with dogs of different ages and temperaments. I’ve also completed an animal first aid course, so I’m confident carrying out basic first aid and staying calm in situations where a dog may need extra care. I’m very caring, down-to-earth, reliable, and trustworthy, and I always aim to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident. About: I have had a dog of my own for two years and he had to stay back in Greece with my family, so I really miss him. I love spending time with dogs, especially playing and going on walks with them. I am currently a uni student attending my third year in Pharmacology. About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

About: I've grown up with dogs and have a real love for them. I currently live in a flat, so any dog staying with me would need to be fully toilet trained. I can offer plenty of long and frequent walks, and your dog would also need to be dog-friendly, as I have a rescue German Shepherd at home. Diego spent a lot of time with my two dogs, especially taking care of Ash, who was recovering after significant surgery for a double open fracture of his front leg. Ash was not allowed on the furniture or on the stairs, so he needed constant observation. Diego did carry him up and down the stairs (i live on the 2nd floor) and he also took care of my other dog. His help was crucial for us, as i work full time, Ash is recovering very well, this would have not been possible without Diego’s help. Diego also helped Ash to get used to the crate, as this was something new for him - this was also a success! I noticed that the dogs were super happy whenever he showed up and that kept my anxieties at bay during the long working hours. Diego is a very good communicator and was flexible and very helpful everytime i contacted him. Dogs happy, me happy! Thank you Diego for your amazing help and all the best in the future!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
