“Becky is a great Dogsitter and we are planning to use her again in the future. She has a great dog friendly set up and her home and our dogs were made to feel very welcome. She was very easy to contact and was in touch each day to let us know how things were going.”

“Grant looked after our cockapoo Remy while we were attending a wedding in Dundee. Grant was super friendly and accommodating. He’s someone you can trust to take care of your pet. Thanks again, if we’re back in the area I’m sure Remy would be pleased to see you for another stay!”

“Big thank you to Anne for taking care of Rory. This was the first time he had been away from home overnight so I was abit nervous but after meeting Anne my mind was completely at ease. Rory had a great time 😊”

“Thank you to Lewis and Claudia. With Murphy our Sheepadoodle being on the larger size, it can be daunting for some to look after him but both Lewis and Claudia took him on with confidence and without hesitation. They answered our questions and updated us to let us know that Murphy settled well which put our minds at ease. On collection Murphy was his usual energetic self and seemed absolutely fine with having been away!”

“This is my first time using Rover and the first time leaving my spaniel with someone he didn’t know. I had a meet and greet with Andi beforehand and was instantly put at ease, he was happy around her and stayed overnight with no issues. I was sent a couple of messages and photos to let me see know how he was settling. Would definitely recommend and I’m sure Murphy would love to visit again.”

“We had a great experience with our Rhiannon and her family! They were absolutely lovely and made Aspen feel right at home. It was clear from the updates and photos that she was relaxed, happy, and enjoying herself. She had plenty of lovely walks and came back to us calm and content. We’d definitely be happy to book again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her!”

“Really excellent - Jura had such a good time with Danielle and Ian! He got lots of good walks, and Danielle kept me updated with pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. My first pet was a Dalmatian called Tessa when I was four years old, and she quickly became my best friend. Growing up, I also spent lots of time helping to care for my gran’s dogs, taking them on walks and learning how to look after them. My dream job was always to be a vet, and I even used to watch Cesar Millan religiously because I was fascinated by dog behaviour. I have a family dog who is a 16-year-old Border Collie called Blu (you’ll spot him in my profile picture!). I trained him myself, and he’s the sweetest, best-behaved boy. When I was around 12, I walked a neighbour’s dog every day after school, and ever since then I’ve loved caring for other people’s pets. These days I regularly look after my mother-in-law’s Cockapoo as well as dogs and cats for family friends. I’ve been pet sitting for the same family for the past couple of years, and it’s what inspired me to join Rover. Although I don’t currently have a dog living with me, that’s only because I want to wait until I’m in a house before getting one of my own. I genuinely miss having a dog around and love spending time outdoors on long walks. My grandad always used to say I had “animals on the brain”—and he wasn’t wrong! At work, everyone knows how much I love dogs. If they can’t find me, they joke that they just need to look for the nearest dog! While I didn’t grow up with cats, pet sitting has made me very confident caring for them too, and I’ve really grown to love their unique personalities. I work full-time as a Housing Officer, but I have a very flexible job and often work from home, so I can fit my schedule around your pet’s needs. If required, I’m also happy to take annual leave to provide the best possible care. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to treat them with the same love, patience and care that I would my own. My long-term dream is to work with animals full-time, so every pet I care for means the world to me. Caring for animals fits naturally into my daily life because it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outdoors, going on long walks and exploring nature, so having a dog to share those adventures with is something I really look forward to. I work full-time as a Housing Officer, but I often work from home and have a flexible schedule, which means I can plan my working days around bookings whenever possible. I also drive, making it easy for me to travel for walks, drop-in visits and house sitting. Most weekends I’m free, and as I’m currently saving for my wedding next year, I tend to spend my weekends going to the gym and spending time with family and friends. That means I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets and making sure they get the attention, exercise and companionship they deserve. For me, spending time with animals never feels like work—it’s something I genuinely love and one of the highlights of my week. Your pet’s safety, happiness and routine are my top priorities. I live in a clean, second-floor, one-bedroom flat with access to a shared garden. As there are no other pets living in my block,it’s a calm environment where your pet can feel safe and relaxed. I understand that every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow your usual routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, exercise, playtime or simply lots of cuddles. If your dog is crate trained, I’m happy to use a crate if that’s part of their normal routine. When caring for pets in your home, I’ll respect both your home and your pet’s routine, making sure they feel comfortable, secure and well looked after while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you have complete peace of mind.
“Grant and Angela were amazing. It started with a very professional meet and greet introducing us to their home and allowing them to meet our Labradoodle Bentley. Grant has a Health and Safety background and was very thorough/comprehensive in his introduction. They also introduced him to Otis who would be overlapping his stay with Bentley by half a day. A few days later we left Bentley in their care for two nights. Bentley has separation anxiety however settled in really well. Grant gave us regular updates including Video which really put us at easy seeing Bentley's tail wagging away. We have tried kennels before in which Bentley lost his voice and nose was raw from pushing against the kennel door. Such a relief to have found Grant and Angela. When we picked Bentley up it was very clear he had already formed a bond with Grant and Angela. Emotions dont lie - was great to see. Really was a home from home.”

“Our pets had a wonderful time with Sabrina! She made such a fuss of them, and set them up so comfortably - the cats had their own "suite", with cubbies and plenty of blankets, and our dog was all set up on the end of the bed. She spent several days calmly getting to know our animals in their own space and at their own pace, so they could comfortably warm up to the new surroundings in their own time. She sent us daily photos and updates on how they were doing, and was always very quick to respond to my messages. They were all showered in cuddles and love, and we feel like Sabrina really treated our pets as her own.”

“Absolutely delighted with the level of professionalism Anya showed. She went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and ensured Lomond and Rosie had the best time. They enjoyed adventures in the car, a visit to a dog park, and even spent time with Anya’s own two dogs and another dog currently in her care. I received plenty of photos, which really helped ease my anxiety about how my two would settle with other dogs. Seeing them all relaxing together was amazing. Overall, an excellent service from a confident young lady who clearly loves animals and it truly shows.”

“Diego looked after my nervous dachshund George for a week and was brilliant. He managed to put George at ease, get him out for walks and help him settle and provide lots of photos and updates to put me at ease. Fully recommend Diego - great sitter!”

“Bertie has had an amazing 24 hour stay with Beth and her lovely family while we attended a family wedding in dundee. He was walked several times and Beth sent lots of photos and kept us updated. He is an 11 month old cockapoo and loved their dog Pip also a cockerpoo. When we collected he was delighted to see us but would happily have stayed longer. I would certainly recommend Beth . What a lovely kind an and dog friendly family.”

About: I've been enjoying using another app for house sitting pets in the owners home, have looked after 35 pets so far mostly dogs and really enjoy getting to know each beautiful soul! I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I'm a freelance community project lead so I am flexible and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. We use the back door as our main door which offers additional safety as we can implement an 'airlock' system between the two internal doors 😅. Our neighborhood is a 20 zone and we live on a cul-de-sac. We have space for your crate if you would like to provide one for your dog's comfort.
“I am so so happy with the care Leah offered my collie Scout. He received long country walks as well as playing in her garden with her dog Ripley. Scout was more than happy staying in Leah’s house and settled well after being out. He received a bath after a mucky walk and was happy playing with toys along with Ripley. I have no hesitation in recommending Leah as a first class sitter. Thank you so much for caring for Scout and perhaps meet you again in the future.”

“We've made use of Becky's services a few times now and will do so again. She lets us know when life gets in the way but always makes sure that our boys are taken care of.”

“Holly was fantastic with Lola, whilst we were away on Holiday. She bonded with Lola instantly, which through experience, is vey rare. She kept us updated dailly and the whole week away was enjoyed knowing Lola was good and being looked after exceptionally well. Would highly recommend. Thanks again Holly. Jim, Linda & Lola”

“Amber was fantastic with my dog Cooper! She stopped by for a drop-in and he was so excited to see her — tail wagging, happy dancing, the whole thing. She sent photos right away, which I really appreciated. I’ll admit, Cooper is definitely a pampered pooch, but none of that was too much for Amber. She handled him perfectly. Highly recommend her — Cooper’s already hoping she comes back soon! 🐶💛”

“Alice was absolutely lovely and took amazing care of our babies, including making sure our elderly girl got her arthritis medication. We were sent daily photos and she seemed very well prepared.”

“Couldn't recommend enough. Luka stayed on an overnight for my cat and communication before during and after was perfect. Went above and beyond and was just human and warm as well as attentive and skilled with my cat. Luka handled, medication, an old creaky house and a stressed pet owner like a champ. Will be booking again 100% ❤️”

“Cheryl was super kind and helpful and my kittens loved her.It was a great experience and I was not worried about them while travelling away and I felt they are in safe hands with her”

“Jennifer was great. While I was gone over a long weekend, Jennifer fed, walked and played with my dog. She provided regular updates and my dog was happy when I got back home. I am very pleased.”

Ivana was caring, sending us updates throughout their stay, which made us feel at ease. Thank you so much for caring for them, Ivana, we’ll definitely book again with you! X”

About: Although I didn’t grow up with cats, I’ve grown to love them through regularly cat sitting for a family friend over the past two years. Looking after their cats has given me experience with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playing with them, and making sure they have plenty of love and attention while their owners are away. I know that every cat has their own personality. Some love to play and cuddle, while others prefer their own space, and I’m happy to care for them in whatever way makes them feel most comfortable. I’ve always had a passion for animals, and whether they have paws that bark or purr, I’ll treat your pet with the same care, patience and affection as if they were my own. My aim is to make sure your cat feels safe, relaxed and well looked after while you’re away.

“Tari and her partner are such sweet, kind individuals who I know gave my cat, Tofu, as much love as she would let them while we had her boarded in their home. Would absolutely recommend her to look after your animals and will contact her again if Tofu needs a place to stay.”

“Isidora was fantastic with our energetic border collie puppy. She communicated with us lots and kept us informed. We loved seeing the photos of Ace having fun with Isadora. Highly recommend.”

About: I have had a dog of my own for two years and he had to stay back in Greece with my family, so I really miss him. I love spending time with dogs, especially playing and going on walks with them. I am currently a uni student attending my third year in Pharmacology. My timetable consists of an average of 1-2 hours of uni work/lectures so I have plenty of free time during my day. My flat is pretty spacious and I live with my two flatmates that are also dog lovers. The environment is really cosy and the dogs will be sleeping in my room either next to my bed or with me if they wish to, so they can have company and feel comfortable at all times.

About: I have had cats my whole life and have cared for them solely since I was 10, including cleaning later boxes, feeding and playing with them. I have cat sit for other members of my family in the past for no more than a week here and there but I have a lot of experience with cat sitting.

“My pup was happy to see me when I came to pick him up, but fall asleep in his crate shortly after. I was advised he had a good full on day meeting other dogs in the park and being boisterous self. So I am happy with that. Highly recommend Natalia for your loved furry babies 10/10”

“I'm often quite anxious to leave Steve with anyone. As a 10 month old black lab, he can be a lot to handle! Yet as we were moving house, Mariah very graciously agreed to take Steve on for doggy day care and overnight boarding! Mariah and her partner were amazing with him. She even brought him some pig ears as a treat! She took him for many walks and kept me updated with lots of pics throughout the day. I can see she truly has a passion for dogs and I would leave Steve again with her in a heartbeat! Could not recommend enough. Thank you Mariah!”
About: I love dogs and enjoy taking care of my doggy nephew when needed, including full boarding, walks, meals and grooming as long as 1 month at a time. I am working from home, so I can keep company for your dog during the day. Small toilet breaks are also available during the day. I can take your dog for a walk on a leash. When at home, I’ll be near all the time. We have a small fenced backyard, but it is shared.
“First time leaving my dog Fede at a daycare with someone he didn’t know, and Isidora was very caring and made him feel at home. She was very attentive to his needs throughout the day and kept me updated on how he was doing while he was at her house. She also made sure to introduce her sweet dog Bono to Fede before they came inside, and everything went perfectly. I would definitely leave Fede with her again.”

“Grant was amazing with Leo. Here was me thinking that Leo would be anxious/unsure about being away from home, as he’s never stayed elsewhere even for the day, unless with family. But Leo didn’t even look back, I was very happy. Little bits of feedback throughout the day and some pictures too. Leo can’t wait to stay again soon!”

About: I have previous experience dog walking and pet sitting through BorrowMyDoggy app, as well as volunteering for Paws of Kalymnos in Greece, where I helped care for rescue dogs by feeding, cleaning and playing with them. Although I would love to have pets of my own, my partner and I travel regularly, so pet sitting has become a wonderful way for me to spend time with animals, while helping owners feels confident that their pets are receiving excellent care. I work remotely full-time, which means I’m at home throughout the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision and attention. All I need to work is an internet connection and a space for my laptop, and I rarely have more than 1 meeting a day. I also have a car for getting around and emergencies. Pets in my care are never left alone for extended periods, and I can easily adapt to their usual routines, whether that means regular walks, play sessions, medical needs, or simply having a calm and reassuring presence nearby. My partner and I live in a 2 story semi- detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac in Dundee. We have a secure fully fenced garden with a lawn behind the house. We are fortunate to have football fields and beautiful walking routes nearby- such as the Dighty Burn, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. We also own a camper van and love to travel further afield with it at the weekends, and get out on bigger walks, rides and hikes further north.
“Maria took Coco for an afternoon whilst we attended a family celebration. Coco was well looked after and afforded a treat of a visit to a Pet Cafe. When we picked her up she was in great spirits and you could tell she had enjoyed her time with Maria. In the evening all her stimulation had her completely exhausted. Maria’s comms were excellent throughout. From the initial contact, through pre appointment and throughout her time with Coco. She showed warmth and love to our dog as if Coco were her own and on a practical level She was fully prepared for a day for caring for our dog. Fully recommend Maria for your dog care requirements.”

“Leah has been excellent with our dog ithaka. We have so far had a successful meet and greet and first day care session. Her dog Ripley is wonderful and friendly, and Leah and David are very kind and considerate owners. Leah has had experience with a blind dog herself which was very reassuring for us leaving ithaka in her care. Ithaka came back tired and happy We look forward to the next dog sitting”

About: My journey as a pet sitter and dog walker started of in the cafe were I used to work. We had many costumers coming in with dogs and that's when I realised how much joy they brought me. I have experience working with dogs of various sizes, special needs dogs, rescues, socially anxious dogs and dogs with separation anxiety. “Bethany was absolutely brilliant with our pups as they had a day with her during our wedding day! 🔥♥️ Bethany throughout the whole process was very efficient with communication and accommodating for us. Bethany kept us updated with how the dogs had settled and a few pictures to keep our minds at ease. The dogs must have sensed a lovely calm atmosphere within the household as the toddled off without even a bye 🤣 We would definitely recommend Bethany and will definitely use her in the future if we need! 5 stars all round! Bethany even went the extra mile to drop our pups off at parents house at night before they arrived home ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

About: I have experience caring for pets of all ages and temperaments. I used to help take care of my family’s old, blind dog until he passed away, which taught me a lot about compassion and patience. Since then, I've assisted with other family dogs ranging from puppies to those over ten years old, each with their own unique behaviors, including anxiety and excitement. Recently, I helped my sister with her dog's litter of puppies, as well as caring for the mama dog. She decided to keep one of the puppies, and I’ve been actively involved in training her to establish a routine and become house-trained. Hi, I’m Amber! I’m a university student looking for a fulfilling way to spend my free time, and what better way than to do something I’ve grown up doing—caring for pets. I’m offering drop-ins during the weekdays and house sitting on weekends. I’ve always had a passion for animals and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I can’t wait to meet your furry family and provide the same love and care I would for my own! Safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment are my top priorities when caring for your pets. I’ll make sure they’re fed as needed or when requested, and I’ll give them plenty of attention—whether it’s playtime or cuddling, depending on what they prefer. I’m dedicated to meeting all of your pet's needs and ensuring that any specific instructions from you are followed carefully.
About: I have taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week but I am usually free Thursday to Monday. If I do have to go to a lecture it is usually no more than two hours. In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for cats, dogs, and small pets. I currently have a cat of my own and grew up with both Greyhounds and a Labrador, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I’ve also previously owned cats, dogs, and rodents, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of pets. Growing up, I often accompanied my mum on her dog walks and had the opportunity to meet and interact with many different breeds and temperaments. This helped me become confident around dogs with a wide range of personalities, from energetic and playful to shy and relaxed. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll always treat them as if they were my own. I’m reliable, caring, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well looked after while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! As I work full-time during the week, my usual availability for pet care is from 6pm onwards on weekdays, with full availability on weekends. I’m also generally available for drop-in visits between 12–2pm on Mondays and Fridays. I can sometimes be flexible with earlier morning visits depending on location and my work schedule, so feel free to message if you’re looking for something slightly outside these times — I’ll always do my best to accommodate where I can. This makes me a great option for evening visits, feeding, walks, companionship, and weekend pet care. I’m also available for overnight stays on Friday and Saturday nights, helping your pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment while you’re away. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own. I’ll follow their usual routine, whether that’s feeding times, walks, playtime, medication, or just giving them the attention and company they’re used to. I have a cat of my own and live in a small one-bedroom flat, so I’m currently unable to offer boarding in my home. Because of this, I provide care in your pet’s home instead, where they can stay in a familiar environment and stick to their normal routine. I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, and I’ll be happy to send updates and photos for extra peace of mind. I understand that every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to get to know their personality and needs to make the experience as stress-free as possible for both of you.

About: I've helped walk people's dogs since I was teenager from neighbours to family friends. I have expernce walking smaller dogs like Bichon Frisé and French bulldogs as well as bigger more high energy dogs like labradors and collies. I am patient and understand dog body language well, I know that every dog is diffrent and will always listen to the owner about what they need. I have experence pet sitting gerbils and currently have two guinea pigs. I am confident handeling small animals and can pet sit smaller animals as well. I am a student in Glasgow I commute in. This means I'm happy to house sit for people outside my area so long as I can get a bus or train into Glasgow from your house. I am in uni Tuesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday morning so cant do drop ins or walks at those times. When looking after animals in the owners home I will make sure to follow all instructions given and do whatever I can to make the animal feel comfortable. I appreciate all animals are diffrent and some may like sticking to a routine and may be nervous when their owner is away while others enjoy the change of routine. I am able to look after animals in my home however I have a pet guinea pig therfore I can't look after your dog if they have a high prey drive. I am happy to do meet ups before hand if youre unsure about this. I know that it is impossible to know everything about animals so I will always take the lead from you and follow any instructions given. It is always best to do things the dog is familiar with so I will use any equitment and/ or traning methods you prefer. I would always prefer to meet you and the animal before booking to discuss things more in person and ensure me and the animal get along.
About: I have been taking care of dogs of my own or for neighbours and friends since a young age, which developed into a small clientele of dogs whom I would regularly care for throughout my university studies. I have experience caring for puppies (and can confidently assist or continue puppy training) all the way to elderly dogs and am happy administering medication (non-injection). I like to chat with the owners before taking on a pet sitting job to ensure I know exactly what kind of care you expect from me and, more importantly, how I can make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your furry friend. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Dundee so have full autonomy over my schedule and can be at home or take time off during weekday day times. I have availability over the weekends and evenings and can arrange my work to fit around longer sits if need be. I have an enclosed garden which will be useable by your pet only. I live very close to big open spaces so can take them for any length or duration of exercise they might require. I tend to ask owners the specifics of how they prefer me to care for their pet. For example, any feeding/toilet/sleeping schedules, sleeping arrangements and whether or not they should be allowed on furniture/on beds etc. In my opinion the environment I can provide for your pet is largely up to you.
About: Hi! My name's Maria and I loveloveloooove dogs. All dogs. Dogs of all kinds. They're the absolute best. My earliest childhood memory is of my dad bringing a puppy home when I was about 2 years old. It was so fantastic that it brought my consciousness online. Basil lived all the way up to 20 years old and growing up, my family always kept dogs so I'm used to them being around. A house just doesn't feel like a home without one. In March this year my sweet boy, Dexter, had to be put to sleep. You can see him in my profile pictures, he was such a good boy (they're all good boys). There's a bit of a void now I don't have him around and it'd be lovely to take care of dogs again. As a dog lover I know how precious they are and I promise you I will treat them as my own, while they stay with me they'll be part of the family. As well as 30 years of experience being around dogs on a pretty much daily basis, I'm in the process of studying canine psychology so that I can offer training as part of my services. All dogs are different and many of them have 'quirks' that can make caring for them a little more complicated, I'd love to help with that side of things especially. I offer complete one-on-one care. Whilst with me, your dog will have my undivided company and attention. I offer a more focused service because it's better for certain dogs, particularly those who aren't used to being around multiple animals or who are perhaps just a bit needier and want more attention. This allows me to give 100% to the dogs I care for. I work from home as an artist (pet portraits mainly) so my schedule is very flexible and I'm always present to keep an eye on everything and keep them company. They won't be left unattended at any point really and I can accomodate most requests. There's a small, securely fenced garden at the back that I have access to, but there's also lots of green spaces pretty much on my doorstep. Since I'm working at home I can pop out multiple times whenever needed to let them do their business and have a sniff around - so the small garden is no bother at all. I can drive and I'm happy to have dogs in my car, so we can also drive out to explore some nice countryside walks. I'll send you regular updates and pictures so you know how they're doing and can have peace of mind.
“Ellie has been walking cooper for a couple of months now, he loves greeting her when she arrives and enjoys his walks, Ellie is lovely and very good with him, we would definitely recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds through looking after family and friends dogs. They relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am currently at Abertay University studying Food, Nutrition, and Health. Therefore, i would love to take care of your pets in my spare time! I have a closed off garden to keep your dogs safe. I can easily crate your dogs also if that is what you would be looking to do.

I am incredibly flexible and have plenty free time. I live in the perfect place for dogs. I have a fenced garden and live 500 feet from Broughty Ferry's stunning waterfront which offers a variety of stunning walks to take pooch's on.

“Bethany kept us up to date with photos during our trip and it looked like our pup was having a great time. We also really appreciated her being able to fit us in at short notice. Would definitely book again!”

“Charlie had the most amazing, loving time with Nicole. Walked several times a day, wonderful countryside and scenery. Daily updates on Charlie's progress, he is quite skittish but with Nicole he has come back this week relaxed and chilled. Thankyou to Nicole for looking after my fourth child, could not be happier with the love and attention by Nicole.”

“Natalia did an amazing job looking after Noodles and sent regular updates with pictures. Natalia is very understanding and caring and I know Noodles had an amazing time! I would highly recommend booking with Natalia!”
