I have grown up on a farm and have had sheepdogs my whole life. Since they are working dogs they mostly just runs muck around the farm and help us with herding and pest control. We take them for walks when we go out on hacks with the horses and if we go to check fields. One of our dogs does have increased needs due to an injury to his back leg so I am used to dogs with special needs. I have also taken care of my friend's Labrador cross rescue here and there for two years now. my responsibilities included dog walking, feeding, toilet runs, giving her medication, doing runs in the car, and showering her with love and attention. I have through Rover been booked for house sitting and boarding services which all went amazing and the owners had very positive things to say.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring a dog sitter, and I can't recommend Jemima enough! She took care of our dog Honey while we were away, and the experience was fantastic. From the moment we met, it was clear that Jemima was a true animal lover. Throughout our trip, Jemima sent us daily pictures and updates, which really put our minds at ease. Honey seemed so happy and comfortable in her care. They became such great companions, almost inseparable, and it was heartwarming to see how well they bonded. Jemima was responsible, attentive, and communicated effectively. Knowing that Honey was in such capable hands made our time away much more enjoyable. We can’t wait to have Jemima sit for us again in the future!

Schedule
I am currently a full-time nursing student at UoD and have classes throughout the week most of my lectures at isolated 2-3 hour lectures.

In my home with the cats we feed the cats 3 times a day and get let in for attention usually after breakfast and stay in the house (they are outside cats) until their next meal and then go out to eat in the garage while we eat in the house and when everyone is done they are let back in. Because our dogs are farm dogs they get fed twice a day and run a muck around the farm the rest of the day while also doing a bit of pest control and jobs as well. When petsitting for my friend, we would usually go for 1-2 walks a day and spend most of our time playing in the back garden or driving around with her head out the window. At night we would sit and cuddle together while watching TV and then she would sleep in her bed overnight.
A typical day
I would definitely try get out as much as possible and bring toys to play outside. I love playing tug of war with dogs and just trying different things to see what excites them.
