About: I’ve been mama to our sausage dog Hamish for seven years. He’s battled IVDD so I’m experienced in caring for IVDD survivors and understand the challenges small dogs face. I’ll give your small dog the care and attention it needs and will care for it as if it’s my own. Contact me for weekend availability as required. I might be able to accommodate some weekend stays / visits. I’m currently freelance and work from home. I set my own hours and totally flexible so I can look after up to two small dogs in my house giving them ample play time and pee breaks as needed. I live near fields and cute walking paths meaning your dog can enjoy all the smells of nature! For cats I can drop into your home for cuddles, comfort and chunkies. I have a secure garden for toilet breaks and plenty blankets and beds for naps. I have ramps up to the sofa and a no stair policy to protect delicate small dog backs - my dog is an IVDD survivor so safety in the home is really important to me.

About: I'm Jess, and dogs are my absolute world. I've always had dogs in my life. As well as agility training, I'm also an experienced obedience handler, skills trainer and Pets as Therapy handler. I am an all-weather dog walker, offering tailored walks to suit your dogs needs. Whether it's a short round-the-block followed by fun and games at home, or a longer run to burn off some excess energy, there really is no walk too big or small. Experienced and confident with reactive dogs, sensitive dogs, high-energy dogs, and everything in between, I pride myself on my ability to understand dog behaviour. I will let your dog get to know me at their own pace, and only ever use positive, motivating, reward-based training. I cannot wait to meet you and your four-legged pals As a teacher my availability is pretty much matched to school term dates, with evenings, weekends and school holidays being the best times for me to visit, walk and look after your dogs. I'm delighted to be able to accommodate dog boarding and house-sitting so that you can provide your dogs with the bespoke care they need while you are away. About: I have been a professional dog and cat sitter for the last three years. Mainly looking after animals in their own home. I grew up with a dog, guinea pigs, a rabbit and a hamster. Friends and family have trusted me to look after, play with, feed, bath and give medication to their animals. I currently look after my brothers cat, my parents elderly dog, a friend’s dog and a friends rabbits when they go on holiday. I have looked after the aforementioned pets for overnight stays, long weekends and two week holidays. I love looking after animals and connecting with their unique personalities. I have been a professional dog and cat sitter for three years. I have looked after dogs that use a crate and those that don’t. I am happy to meet your fur babies needs while you are away. I have looked after dogs that need medication and regular walking. Also dogs who are rescues and need extra love and care when on walks and in the home. The cat I look after is mainly indoor but she is allowed to wear a tracker to go out for small chunks of time. I put on her tracker and keep an eye on where she is - giving treats on return. The rabbits I look after are house rabbits.

“Sarah looked after Roman, who suffered complications from his neutering operation. I was nervous about leaving him with someone while I went to work, but I shouldn't have been! Sarah was great; she promptly arrived on time, and the minute she met Roman, I knew she would take good care of him. She kept me up to date throughout the day, and there were no issues at all. I requested that Sarah prevent Roman from licking his incision (which is not an easy task as he has found a way to get to it even wearing two cones of shame!)However, I arrived home to a very happy, content kitty who had not licked his wound all day. I will definitely use Sarah for cat sitting duties again. Roman loved her so much he spent most of last night waiting at the door for her to come back!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been second nature to me. In 2021, I welcomed my own golden retriever into my life- she truly is the love of my life. I raised, trained, and cared for her myself, and I genuinely think of her as my child. Being separated from her while I’m in the UK (she’s currently living with my parents) has been incredibly hard. In the meantime, I’ve been filling that little dog-shaped gap through numerous dogs I have met in parks, house sitting and dog walking, caring for a wide range of personalities and breeds, from large, energetic Flat Coat Retrievers to anxious, clingy Dachshunds. I’m confident adapting my care to suit each dog’s individual needs, temperament, and routine. I work from home four days a week, so I have plenty of flexibility for walks, companionship, and attentive care. I genuinely love getting outside for fresh air, and there’s no better company than a happy dog. Your dog’s safety, wellbeing, and emotional comfort are my top priorities. I hold myself to the same standard of care that I expect for my own, loving, patient, attentive, and always putting their needs first. I enjoy building my day around walk breaks, outdoor time, and play, and I genuinely look forward to having dogs as part of my normal routine. I always follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible, whether they’re staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs. This includes feeding schedules, walk times, play, rest, and any specific instructions provided. I believe consistency is key to helping dogs feel safe and settled. In a pet owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and aim to keep everything just as they left it. I make sure dogs are exercised, fed on time, given plenty of affection, and never left feeling lonely. I’m also happy to water plants, collect mail, or keep the home generally tidy while you’re away. Safety and wellbeing always come first. I’m vigilant on walks, careful with doors and gates, and attentive to any signs of stress or discomfort. I also send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. Every dog is treated with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own.

About: Hello, I'm Ewa I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by them, and in Poland I have three dogs of my own – two small and one medium-sized. Since moving to the UK, I miss them very much, so spending time with dogs here brings me real happiness. Looking after dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I've cared for my own dogs as well as dogs belonging to family and friends. I enjoy long walks, playtime and quiet moments too. Every dog is different, so I always take the time to understand their routine and make them feel safe and comfortable. I offer dog walking, home visits, daycare and care in my own home. I live in a quiet flat with access to a large shared garden. To make sure every dog gets plenty of attention, I only welcome one dog at a time (or two from the same household). I have very flexible working hours, so I can easily find time for walks with your pet. Sometimes I have to go away for a few weeks on business, but I think that everything can be arranged and adjusted. I make sure every pet is safe, comfortable and well cared for. I always follow the owner’s instructions, including feeding and walking routines. I live in a tenement with access to a large garden, where dogs can enjoy fresh air under supervision. I also provide regular walks, attention and a calm, pet-friendly environment. I treat every pet with care and make sure they feel relaxed and secure.

About: I've taken care of a range of dogs, cats and small pets over the last 15 years with different needs and multiple pets in one household. They have varied from big dogs like greyhounds to small dogs like daschund. From rabbits to hamsters They have also had a range of training needs I currently work full time in Edinburgh but can split my time between the office and home. I tend to exercise most days and but am flexible I live in a top floor flat on my own. It's easy to access the outdoors if needed and for walking dogs can easily access green space and close by beaches.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life and I have extensive experience in caring for them in all shapes and sizes. I am very active and can keep up with the most energetic puppies and playful cats but am also very patient by nature and find caring for elderly or slower animals just as rewarding. All animals are welcome. I have confidence in caring for anxious animals, administering most medications, and supporting training in younger animals who are still learning. As an independent designer I can work from anywhere at any time so can fit my days around what you and your pets need. I enjoy engaging with animals and take their lead on how much play and exercise time they like without needing to rush back to anything. In all things, the animals comfort comes first. When I am sitting or visiting in home, I prefer to match my schedule with whatever your pet is familiar with to make sure there is as little disruption for them as possible.
