About: Hello, my name is Camilo and I'll be taking care of your pup :) I currently have a well trained beagle who has been part of my life for the past three years. He is obedient, cheerful and enjoys his daily walks with me, come rain or shine. I have also grown up with a family poodle for seven years, so I'm very familiar with different breeds and their individual personalities. I understand that every dog has unique needs and routines. I always ensure feeding times, walks and play are consistent and suited to each dog’s temperament and energy levels. I believe in positive reinforcement, plenty of attention and creating a calm, safe environment where your dog can feel happy and secure while you are away. You can expect regular updates and photos, so you know exactly how your dog is doing during their time here. I am reliable, attentive and genuinely love spending time with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, responsible and committed to your dog’s wellbeing, I would be delighted to help. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions. Looking for forward to meeting you and your dog 🐕🐕🐕 I'm a WFH PhD student, and I'm currently able of taking care of your dog 24 hours at home if needed, so there wouldn't be any issues with timing or scheduling. I have a well behaved neutered Beagle who's used to share his toys and his humans. I have a fenced garden as well to ensure the dogs can go out whenever is needed. However, I also live very close to parks, ensuring that your dog will always have contact with green areas to socialise with other dogs
“Jemma was a delight and looked after Ru very well. Was happy for a meet and greet in advance of the big day. And on the day went for lots of lovely walks with Ru, despite the mixed weather! They even went for a wee puppaccino in a local cafe. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jemma for the most excellent care 🐶☕”

About: I've grown up in a family that has always loved dogs, so caring for them has been a natural part of my life from a young age. I truly enjoy being around dogs and understand the love, attention, and patience they need to thrive. As a dog owner myself, I have hands-on experience with daily care, exercise, enrichment, and understanding that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. I'm currently completing additional training to further develop my knowledge and skills, allowing me to provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to ensure that both you and your dog feel comfortable, supported, and confident while in my care. I will always take the time to understand your dog's routine, preferences, and needs so that both you and your furry friend have the best possible experience. As a student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to the dogs in my care. From September 2026, I will be attending campus three days a week during term time, with my timetable to be confirmed. I will always ensure your dog receives the attention, exercise, companionship, and routine they need to feel happy and settled. Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighbourhood and provide a calm, child-free and cat-free environment. My home is kept clean and secure to minimise hazards, and I have a large crate available if required. I take the time to understand each dog's individual needs, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for throughout their stay.
“Well what can I say our boy cooper throughly enjoyed himself today the least he is now sleeping silently Zhi & his wife were ace from start to finish kept us up to date throughout the day and took time to go over everything to give cooper the best stay ever thanks again you have both been amazing can’t thank you enough 😊❤️”

“Eury was amazing with Frankie, warm and caring. We were a bit nervous to leave Frankie for most of the day but Eury sent us photos and videos throughout were we could see that Frankie was happy and cared for. Eury also accommodated us when we needed to pick our baby earlier than expected.”

About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.
“Jane was so welcoming to both Murphy and myself. She obligingly helped out with a last minute dog sitting. Even though Murphy is very anxious and barky at the moment, she made him feel safe and loved, even if it was just for a few hours! Thank you Jane! Hope to see you again soon !??”

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
