“Zhi looked after my elderly lab Milo for a few hours. Milo has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and needs insulin injections. I was very happy to leave Milo in Zhi’s care and for him to do the evening injection. Zhi is caring but also very professional in his approach. His home is perfect for Milo who could roam securely in the garden and sit in the sun. A very positive experience for both Milo and myself.”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent my whole life around and caring for different dogs. I have my own dog, Reggie, who is nearly five years old, and I’ve been closely involved in his care since he was a puppy. Over the years, I’ve also cared for many different breeds, including Labradors, Staffies, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Dachshunds and mixed breeds. This has given me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, energy levels and needs. Labrador Retrievers are my favourite, but I genuinely love all dogs and enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique.🐾 I work part-time and study online, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability during the week. I can spend a lot of time with your pet throughout the day and fit walks, playtime and toilet breaks around their usual routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. I follow your instructions carefully, keep their routine as familiar as possible and make sure they are supervised and comfortable throughout their stay. I also make sure the environment is safe and suitable for your pet.

“Ruby was comfortable immediately with Lu who was so welcoming to her. She looked to have enjoyed her time staying with Lu and was very well looked after. Ruby wasn’t feeling her best when she went to stay with Lu but she was certainly fully recovered by the time we picked her up as Lu had taken the time to make her comfortable and active in equal measure. Ruby enjoyed her stay with Lu and we were very happy with how she cared for Ruby. We have found the right place for Ruby when we need her looked after now. Thanks Lu 🙏🏻🐶”

About: For almost 11 years my wife and I had our energetic Frenchie, Wilsie; she filled my heart to the brim with love! In Oct 2022 my wife, Kayleigh, and I welcomed our son, and he and Wilsie were besties. Unfortunately we lost Wilsie in June 2025 after a short illness, and despite having a toddler running around the house now feels remarkably quiet without the pitter-patter of tiny paws. Between working from home on differing days of the week and having our little one in nursery, I have plenty of time for doggy cuddles and attention. While my journey on Rover used to be about dog sitting to give Wilsie some four-legged company, it is now to help fill a void in my heart! My wife and I offer flexibility with our work schedules to get out the house for breaks and walks as often as the dogs want. We have an open plan downstairs, double doors leading into a good sized fenced garden and we are happy to sofa share for the furry cuddles!

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and genuinely enjoy looking after them. I’ve looked after friends’ and family’s dogs before, from taking them out for walks and keeping them company to feeding them, playing with them and making sure they’re comfortable and happy. I’m quite a calm and caring person, so I’m happy to let a pet settle in at their own pace rather than expecting them to immediately warm up to me. I also understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and little quirks, and I’m more than happy to follow whatever works best for them. I’d just really love the chance to spend more time with animals, give them some attention and get out for some nice walks. I’d always treat someone else’s pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, cared for and comfortable while they’re with me. I work Tues-Sat till mid afternoon, with full availability on Sun-Mon. After work unless I have plans I tend to slump on the sofa, so taking your dog out for a late afternoon walk would benefit us both 😅Please reach out and we can find a schedule that suits you and your pet’s needs. I don’t have my own car, so I prefer local clients or boarding at my place. I’m highly attentive to animal body language and always prioritise creating a safe, and stress free environment. I allow pets to set the pace, to make sure every interaction is comfortable and positive. Whether your pet thrives on affection or prefers calm companionship, I can suit their individual needs.

About: I have had pets my whole life, including dogs of varying sizes and cats, so I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy and will make sure they are well cared for while you're away. Family, friends and neighbours have regularly relied on me to look after their pets, whether that's feeding them, taking them on walks, playing with them, giving them lots of cuddles, or simply keeping them company. About: From a young age, I have always had a love of animals, especially dogs. My naturally caring nature with animals means they will feel relaxed in my company. I have been looking after my friends' dogs and cats for 6 years, which has provided the hands-on experience of feeding and taken care of the welfare of the animal. I can also take care of house cats if needed as well. I live very near Hazlehead Park & woods, which provides plenty space to take your dog for a walk to let off energy and relieve stress. There is also the local burn at Kings Gate burn and Maidencraig nature reserve :) I will gladly send picture updates of your dog or kitty to show how they are acclimatising in their new environment & experience with myself. I'm also to happy to play with them with their favourite toys and would enjoy extra time for snuggling sessions whilst looking after your best friend.
