“Vilte was great with our Mika! While being in Viltes care, Mika went for lots of adventures and was very well taken care of. She also sent regular updates and photos, keeping us at ease while away! Mika had a blast!”

“Bruna looked after Tilly brilliantly and gave me a good level of updates with daily photos, videos and messages. Bruna’s dog is extremely friendly and was good company for Tilly.”

“My 2 chihuahuas had a wonderful experience staying with Jane, I thoroughly recommend her. She has a lovely calm and kind personality which was great for my 2 nervous boys, they were very reassured in her presence. She was also very flexible when working with me on a change of dates which I really appreciated.”

“Zoe is so lovely and took such good care of our boy when we needed a dog-sitter unexpectedly. Not only that, but we have a terrier who takes time to get to know people before being friendly and he took an immediate like to Zoe. That, to me, is the best praise there could be”

About: Since I was 5 I have always had pets, mostly dogs but more recently cats and rabbits. I have my own dog who is 2 and I have toilet and crate trained her. I have trained Lola a lot of skills and now she is in a constant routine I am a staff nurse in ARI so I work on a shift work so this changes weekly, I can’t always guarantee the same days but always have available days My flat is set up for my pup who is friendly and loves when my friends pups are around to have a play. I have Lola’s travel crate so I can easily help with crate training when I have your pup to stay
About: My family had a number of small pets (rabbits, guinea pigs and budgies) that I helped look after as I was growing up. As a teenager I also contributed to the care of our male boxer. For many years thereafter it wasn't possible to have any animals - I had moved abroad for university, spent time away on placement, started full-time work thereafter with life in rented accommodation which didn't allow pets. This change in 2020 when I lodged with a new landlady and her 2 adorable cocker spaniels. We became friends and when I visit I continue to take care of them when their owner is away; daytime and overnight. That includes walks on the beach or on a forest trail, where their favourite activity is to chase a tennis ball, followed by a swim. Once home, the boys make it clear that they would like food and ongoing attention in the form of belly rubs I'm very happy to oblige with. Following their owners suggestion I registered on borrowmydoggy in 2021 and met through this service a number of lovely dogs, mostly larger breeds (German Shepherd, Huskies, Malamute) but I've also started looking after a very confident and fast Chihuahua/Jack Russell lady who enjoys meeting new dogs on her park walks. My availability varies weekly. I prefer late morning and early afternoon sessions which give me a nice break from working at home on days that I can. I live in a top floor rented flat and have access to a small enclosed communal garden to the rear of the property. There is no lift so your pet needs to be able to climb stairs. Cats visit the garden frequently. I can take your pet to the beach or forest in my car.
About: I have had a cat in the family for my entire life, now I am away from family I have the time and space to provide cat care for others I am a student so my week is quite flexible, I am home every evening and also during the day for at least part of the week. I have plenty of space in my flat to accommodate your cat, and any litter tray, bedding or toys they would like to bring with them! I have a semi fenced garden if your cat is happy to be on a lead for some outdoor time. Your cat will be welcome to sit on the furniture and I will make a fuss of them!
“I can’t rate Lu & her family enough. I was nervous about leaving my boy for the first time but he was well looked after! Lu kept me updated with messages and photo’s and was great at reassuring me before and during his stay. I have already rebooked for future dates. Delighted to recommend! Lu has a BFF now for sure!”

“I was a little anxious about leaving my 2 dachshunds with a sitter for the first time however Daisy (and Scott) are a lovely, friendly couple and they have such an obvious love of dogs. They came to the house and met my dogs and they all took to each other immediately!! She even invited me to go to her home where I was able to advise them on stairs and going out in the garden etc. Daisy asked questions about Henry and Bean's routines and quirks and listened intently when I explained their love of blankies and their various idiosyncrasies, as she wanted to make sure that she was giving them a home from home experience. It certainly put my mind at ease! Also, while I was away, she sent me lots of photos, videos and updates and also arranged for the doggos to go on a walk with a fellow dachshund! She was kind enough to collect them from my home (with a vast amount of their 'necessities') and dropped them back home when I got back too. Doggies are home very happy (and tired) and obviously have enjoyed their new adventure. I feel fortunate to have found Daisy and Scott and I feel confident leaving Henry and Bean with them in the future knowing that they will get the love, care and attention they have at home. Thanks guys X”

“Paige and her partner were absolutely great with Freddie. He was completely comfortable with them and I’d be very happy to leave Freddie with them again. Paige took time to find out about Freddie and his habits/routine and took them all onboard - even his not so good ones 😳. Would highly recommend Paige.”

“Our dog had a great time staying with Carla, he was relaxed and got on well with Carla's dog Billie. This was noticeable from the start when he just walked in without any convincing. Carla gave regular updates and pictures throughout his stay and we were happy enough to already book his next stay.”

About: I am an experienced veterinary surgeon recently moved to Aberdeen. I am currently studying to register as a vet in the UK whilst thoroughly enjoying offering pet sitting services in my home. I also work part time online teaching holistic pet health programs to pet owners. I am offering pet sitting for those who prefer a loving home environment over a traditional kennel. With my veterinary background, your pets will be in the safest possible hands! I have numerous 5-star references from pet owners that I would be delighted to share with you. * Home-from-home care: Lots of love, attention and no disruption to your pet's exercise and food routine. I have no pets or children and live in a quiet home near beautiful parks and the beach. * Elderly pets, young pets and pets requiring medication/special care will be safe and comfortable. * Reasonable rates and excellent communication. I adapt my routine to fit with your pet's needs. As I study and work from home, pet sitting is a natural fit with my usual daily routine. I communicate closely with each owner to learn about their pet's preferences and routines, and ensure that they remain the priority throughout their stay. I am a yoga teacher, and love to practise my own yoga daily. Pets often find this relaxing and tend to join in, which is wonderful! When your pet is in my home, they will have regular access to a fenced garden, beautiful parks and beaches and a safe environment at all times. I am an excellent communicator and understand that it can be stressful for owners to be away from their pets. I believe that open, honest communication is key to maintaining comfort and safety. I discuss with each owner their preferences for updates, including messages, photos and videos. When caring for dogs, I make sure that I understand the dog's recall habits thoroughly and discuss on-leash/off-leash walks with the pet owner. I wanted to let you know that our flat is located on the 3rd floor. If your dog is senior and unable to climb stairs, please keep this in mind.

“Martin took a great care of our dog Meryl for 12 nights and kept us updated with pictures and videos. She had lots of walks, went to the beach and even did running with Martin. Meryl looked very settled and happy. Martin was very quick replying to messages and flexible when we had to move pick up time. We will be happy to ask Martin to look after Meryl again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for care.”

“Jane looked after Archie for a week while we were on out hols. She was fabulous, daily updates and pics plus had him out having lots of walks and fun. Would highly recommend. Will be using her again very soon.”

“Amy was absolutely amazing with my pup! 🐶 She sent me the cutest pics that completely put me at ease while I was away. My pup is super clingy, but he LOVED Amy – he would run straight into her house every time and was always so happy to see her! It made such a difference being able to enjoy my time away knowing he was in such great hands. Thank you so much, Amy – couldn’t recommend you more! 💕 Would 100% use Amy again if I needed my boy watching!”

I highly recommend this cat sitter. She took excellent care of my cat while I was away and kept me updated with regular photos and messages, which gave me great peace of mind. It was clear that she genuinely cares about animals, and my cat felt comfortable and relaxed around her. She is reliable, responsible, and attentive to every detail. I would definitely book her services again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter

Evelyn has been amazing with both of my dogs both for daycare and boarding. Recently she had my puppy Diana for 2 nights and I can tell she had such a nice time! I got lots of updates and pictures which I really appreciated and Diana came home very happy, thank you Evelyn ☺️

Rebecca and Jamie was absolutely fantastic with my dog he had the best time and little holidays with them. Rebecca was sending updates and pictures and Lilo was looking like a one happy little boy, we definitely recommend them as a sitters and Lilo will be coming back to stay with them again ☺️

I had an excellent experience with Shaimaa, she quickly replied to my initial enquiry and we set up a Meet and Greet. That went well and she showed us her home where Romy would be staying, her garden and we went for a walk in a nearby park. On the day the drop off went smoothly and she double checked exactly when to feed Romy and how much. The stay was for three nights and Shaimaa kept in touch sending regular messages and photos. At the end she even took Romy and his gear down to the car for me. I was very happy with Shaimaa and would not hesitate to use her again and to highly recommend her.

My 2 chihuahuas had a wonderful experience staying with Jane, I thoroughly recommend her. She has a lovely calm and kind personality which was great for my 2 nervous boys, they were very reassured in her presence. She was also very flexible when working with me on a change of dates which I really appreciated.

Natalie and Ian took such excellent care of our two dogs during their 4 night stay. They sent regular photos and updates which reassured us that the dogs were settled and happy. Baxter and Monty clearly felt comfortable with Natalie and Ian from the time we went for a meet and greet. Natalie and Ian were knowledgeable about dog care having had their own dog for 12 years, took the dogs on regular walks and accommodated the dogs snuggling on the sofa! Honestly, we could not have asked for more competent, loving care for our boys.

Iona and Annie's communication was good. I received almost instant responses to any queries and they were very welcoming and easy going. Their dog Artie, a cockapoo is also bery easy going! Chase smells like he has had a bath and I can see he has been groomed. Many thanks for that...note to self bath chase before leaving him with the next sitter! I will definitely use Iona and Annie again.

Communication with Rodger was excellent from start to finish, and he has a great and friendly attitude with dogs and is always accommodating. Jerry clearly enjoyed his stay and was happy and well cared for the whole time. I felt completely at ease leaving him with Rodger and will definitely be booking again :)
