Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in a pet owner's home, I always aim to follow their regular routine as closely as possible from feeding schedules and walk times to play and cuddle time! I take note of any specific instructions or preferences, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I also keep the home tidy and send regular updates so owners know everything is going smoothly. If I’m caring for pets in my own home, I make sure the space is safe, calm, and welcoming. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, and always ensure pets have a cozy place to relax. My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the family while they’re in my care

Can’t Wait to Care for Your Amazing Pet!

Pet care experience

Animals have always been a huge part of my life! Growing up, my family had two wonderful dogs, Jazz and Charly. My parents also regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs, since they worked from home and could give them plenty of walks, playtime, and relaxation. Being raised in this environment taught me the importance of caring for animals with love, consistency, and presence. It also showed me just how much better life is with animals around! In addition to dogs, I also have a horse named Lincoln, and I absolutely love animals of all kinds. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments from energetic puppies to senior dogs as well as experience with horses and donkeys. Sadly, we lost our beloved dog Charly last August. Since then, I’ve moved from Canada to Scotland to pursue a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. While it’s been an incredible adventure, I’ve deeply missed having animals in my daily life. That’s why I joined Rover to spend time with amazing pets and help give owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are safe, happy, and well-cared-for while they’re away. Rover also helps me support my education and living expenses during school. But most importantly, it gives me the opportunity to do something I genuinely love: spending time with animals and meeting wonderful people along the way.

Great communication and kept me updated regularly. Charlie has slept the second he got home from all his walks! Would highly recommend Zoe!

Thank you so much Zoe. Our new rescue dog loved you from the start. You are kind, gentle, grounded and observed and listened, which was just what we needed. We are so thankful and say definitely 10/10. This was a get to know our dog before sitting session.

Zoe's communication was perfect and she took photos. She was clearly lovely with my dogs who had a great time. Would 100% recommend! Thanks Zoe.

Zoe is so lovely and took such good care of our boy when we needed a dog-sitter unexpectedly. Not only that, but we have a terrier who takes time to get to know people before being friendly and he took an immediate like to Zoe. That, to me, is the best praise there could be
