“Caity looked after our Cavapoochon Bailey for a week and he had the best time! Lovely walks on the beach and snuggles on the couch - his favourite things to do 😊 Bailey can be a bit anxious and isn't great with other dogs, so having the beach on the doorstep was great for him as he was able to have lovely quiet walks there. Caity was very communicative throughout the week and sent lots of photos of Bailey enjoying himself. Would definitely recommend Caity and hope Bailey will be able to stay with her again”

About: I’m a kind and compassionate pet owner and lover who loves spending time with my horse and dog going on big hacks with my dog along side and would adore your pet the same! I currently work full time 8am-8pm however, very flexible only doing this 3x a week. However, this changes often and can accommodate from month to month. I have a lot of responsibility with my pets. My dog is walked 2x big walks a day with my horse also being fed and groomed and ridden everyday also!

About: Until recently I have been blessed with a multitude of pets-dogs, cats, horses, chickens and even some sheep! I have experience with puppies and with more senior pets. I just love a pet cuddle! I am now retired so I have plenty of time to look after your pets needs. I love walking and miss my faithful Labradors company. About: I’ve been surrounded by pets my whole life, and my love for dogs started when I was just six years old, begging my parents for my first pup. Every dog I’ve shared my life with has been a rescue, and each one has taught me something special. I live with my partner, and together we’ve cared for many wonderful dogs. Our beloved staffie cross, Roxanne (or “Ladyship” as we called her), joined us in 2017 from the Edinburgh Cats & Dogs Home. She was dog-reactive, so we worked closely with a trainer for four years to support her needs. Thanks to that experience, I’m confident in handling reactive dogs and happy to provide safe, understanding care for them. After Roxanne passed in 2024, we fostered Rex, a sensitive six-year-old staffie–lurcher cross with a high prey drive. Sadly, after seven months with us, Rex passed away suddenly in July 2025 due to an undiagnosed heart tumour. Though heartbreaking, the time we shared with him reminded us how deeply we value the companionship of dogs. Right now, we’re not ready to adopt again, but we truly miss the company of dogs. Dog sitting will allow us to give our time, love, and care to dogs who need it while giving owners peace of mind. We also regularly look after family and friends’ dogs, including Benji (a lively Jack Russell cross), Chico (a Romanian rescue), and Maisie & Mimi. Whether your dog is full of energy, a bit anxious, or simply loves cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, cared for, and loved while they’re with me. I work from home most of the time and have the flexibility to manage my own schedule, which means your dog will never be left for long periods. About: Ive had 2 dogs for the last 17yrs . Of which we had 2 litters from . I adored the whole journey from puppy to seniors all come with different challenges and demands but Sooo rewarding to have relationships and experiences together. Since my 2 dogs have passed find myself caring for friends and family's pets .. so it seems the natural order to board for those who dont have that facility. I love having the company of dogs in my home. Gets me out exploring our beautiful walks . I am at home most days although I have an art workshop close by so can often be found there. In which case the dogs come with me and have space to raom there securely too. So I am around for enjoying each other's company and there for treats cuddles and toilet breaks . I live in a home with both front and back garden both fully enclosed . Although I do like to make use of our many gorgeous walks locally so aren't stuck in one place all day. I can offer a crate for your dog to sleep in if required although happily have them loose if they prefer.

This has given me experience managing different dogs, understanding behaviour and ensuring their safety in group environments. I also regularly walk dogs for neighbours and family in Peebles. I do this mainly because I enjoy it and love being outdoors with dogs. At home, I have 5 children who also love animals, so dogs are always treated as part of the family. I provide a calm, caring and safe environment where dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. I am very active and enjoy long exploratory walks, but I am also happy to adapt exercise depending on each dog’s individual needs. I prefer to care for a maximum of one or two dogs at a time to give them full attention and ensure their wellbeing. I have completed the IMDT Professional Day Care and Boarding qualification , which supports my understanding of dog welfare, behaviour and safe handling. I currently work part‑time from home, which gives me good flexibility to care for dogs during the week. I am available for walks, home visits and daycare, and I can also offer boarding. My daily routine already includes time outdoors, so I enjoy taking dogs on regular walks, whether this is a calm one-hour walk or a longer exploratory walk depending on the dog’s needs. I am happy to adapt my schedule to suit each dog, especially if they require specific routines for feeding, rest or exercise. I normally keep owners informed by sending regular updates and photos of our daily activities, so they can see how their dog is doing and feel reassured. I provide a safe environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. I usually care for one or two dogs at a time so I can give them my full attention and make sure they feel comfortable. In my home, dogs have access to indoor & outdoor spaces to rest and relax, as well as regular time for walks and enrichment. I always prioritise safety, using leads, harnesses or controlled environments where appropriate, and adapting activities to each dog’s age, health and personality.

He is quite nervous when meeting new people but they gave him space until he felt comfortable with them.They took him for lots of lovely walks and gave him lots of play time in the garden. They kept us updated with plenty of photos of him which kept our minds at ease as this was the first time we had ever left him with a pet sitter. “Caity looked after our Cavapoochon Bailey for a week and he had the best time! Lovely walks on the beach and snuggles on the couch - his favourite things to do 😊 Bailey can be a bit anxious and isn't great with other dogs, so having the beach on the doorstep was great for him as he was able to have lovely quiet walks there. Caity was very communicative throughout the week and sent lots of photos of Bailey enjoying himself. Would definitely recommend Caity and hope Bailey will be able to stay with her again”

About: Ive had 2 dogs for the last 17yrs . Of which we had 2 litters from . I adored the whole journey from puppy to seniors all come with different challenges and demands but Sooo rewarding to have relationships and experiences together. Since my 2 dogs have passed find myself caring for friends and family's pets .. so it seems the natural order to board for those who dont have that facility. I love having the company of dogs in my home. Gets me out exploring our beautiful walks . I am at home most days although I have an art workshop close by so can often be found there. In which case the dogs come with me and have space to raom there securely too. So I am around for enjoying each other's company and there for treats cuddles and toilet breaks . I live in a home with both front and back garden both fully enclosed . Although I do like to make use of our many gorgeous walks locally so aren't stuck in one place all day. I can offer a crate for your dog to sleep in if required although happily have them loose if they prefer.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has grown up with dogs and cared for a variety of breeds throughout my life. While I don’t have professional dog sitting experience, I have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs as part of my family. I live with my husband, two children and our friendly family dog, who are all great with other dogs. Your dog will be welcomed into a loving home environment where they’ll receive lots of attention, affection, exercise, and playtime. We have a good sized, fully enclosed garden where dogs can safely explore and play throughout the day, as well as access to regular walks and plenty of opportunities for enrichment. I understand how important it is to know your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for, and I will treat your pet as if they were one of my own. As I work in education, I am primarily available for dog boarding and daycare during school holidays. During these periods, I am at home throughout the day, allowing me to provide plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise and care for your dog. I have a good-sized, fully enclosed and secure garden where dogs can safely play, explore and enjoy time outdoors throughout the day. I share my home with a friendly, neutered Labrador cross German Wirehaired Pointer who is well socialised with other dogs. She is calm, respectful and understands when another dog would prefer their own space. I also have two dog-savvy children, aged 10 and 14, who have grown up around dogs and understand the importance of treating them gently and respectfully. I appreciate that every dog is different and will work to maintain their usual routine as much as possible. If your dog is crate trained or uses a crate for rest, sleep or downtime, I am happy to accommodate this. I will provide a safe, loving family environment where your dog will receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment and care while you’re away.
