A home from home for your pup in East Lothian
Friends and family often rely on me to take care of their dogs. Since losing my own in 2022, I have been so keen to be around dogs as often as possible and love taking care of people's furry friends.

Caity looked after our spaniel Rufus for a couple of days whilst my partner and I were working. Unfortunately, Rufus had badly injured his foot just before his stay but Caity was amazing with him. Not only did she do a tremendously good job of looking after him, but she was great at keeping us updated with how Rufus was doing. Thank you, Caity, for being so wonderful in such difficult circumstances.
We recently left our cocker spaniel, Poppy, with Caity for her first overnight stay, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Caity was warm, friendly and welcoming from the outset, and it was clear she has a great deal of experience with dogs. Poppy settled in really well and seemed to thoroughly enjoy her time there. When we picked her up, she was relaxed, happy and completely at ease, which is always the best indication that she has been well cared for. It gave us real peace of mind knowing that Poppy was in such capable and caring hands. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Caity to anyone looking for a trustworthy and experienced dog sitter, and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future. 🐾❤️
Caity looked after our Cavapoochon Bailey for a week and he had the best time! Lovely walks on the beach and snuggles on the couch - his favourite things to do 😊 Bailey can be a bit anxious and isn't great with other dogs, so having the beach on the doorstep was great for him as he was able to have lovely quiet walks there. Caity was very communicative throughout the week and sent lots of photos of Bailey enjoying himself. Would definitely recommend Caity and hope Bailey will be able to stay with her again
Leos home away from home, wagging tail and happy face all around!
Caity looked after my dog Bonnie in her home over a long weekend. We were delighted that Bonnie had such a great time and was so well cared for - she can sometimes be a bit needy after I've been away, but she was pretty chilled out when we got home, so clearly all her needs were met, including emotional 😊 Caity provided plenty of useful info during our initial meet up, including walks and her routine, and sent updates while we were away to reassure us Bonnie was having a good time (and behaving!) We'd definitely ask Caity to look after Bonnie again.
I was confident that Jess would be happy staying with Caity & so she was. For an older dog it was fine in every way. So many thanks

Schedule
I am currently not working so will always around to look after your best friend and work around their usual schedule to make them as comfortable as possible in my home.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a ground floor flat right on the coast with plenty of space for a small-medium dog to play, and regularly have two cocker spaniels who love to visit! I have a private, fully enclosed front garden, a part-enclosed back garden and the beach is a 30 second walk from the front door, where there is plenty of space to run free. Dogs are more than welcome on the sofa and bed if wanted.
A typical day
Your pup can have regular plays in my fully enclosed garden. I live on the Promenade so we can pop over to the beach for long runs and plays throughout the day. There are also grassy areas nearby if the dog prefers.
