Experienced Dog Sitter

I've grown up with dogs and have a real love for them. I currently live in a flat, so any dog staying with me would need to be fully toilet trained. I can offer plenty of long and frequent walks, and your dog would also need to be dog-friendly, as I have two rescue dogs at home.

We were so pleased with Anya she is a lovely person . Buddy was well looking after done lots of different things with him, he made new dog friends, loved the regular photos and video updates, he was getting lots of cuddles and attention. We would definitely get Anya to take Buddy again. Would highly recommend anyone to use Anya. Thank you so much again for looking after our boy ❤️

Absolutely delighted with the level of professionalism Anya showed. She went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and ensured Lomond and Rosie had the best time. They enjoyed adventures in the car, a visit to a dog park, and even spent time with Anya’s own two dogs and another dog currently in her care. I received plenty of photos, which really helped ease my anxiety about how my two would settle with other dogs. Seeing them all relaxing together was amazing. Overall, an excellent service from a confident young lady who clearly loves animals and it truly shows.

Schedule

As a university student, I have a consistent routine that allows me to give dogs plenty of time and attention throughout the day. I live alone with my own rescue dog in a flat, and we’re lucky to have a bit of green across the road for outdoor time. My dog is well-socialised, any visiting dog would need to be dog-friendly. I also take regular, long walks throughout the week to keep dogs active and happy. Your dog will be safe, cared for, and treated like my own.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a second-floor flat with a secure garden, just a short walk from Baxter Park — perfect for regular walks and outdoor play. I make sure dogs feel safe and settled in my home, giving them space to relax as well as plenty of attention. I’m happy to take them out for toilet breaks every couple of hours or as needed, and I always follow their usual routines to help them feel comfortable and at ease.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day includes plenty of walks, playtime, and downtime to help your dog feel comfortable and happy. I live close to Baxter Park, so we’ll head there for long walks, sniffing sessions, and maybe a game of fetch if they’re up for it! At home, there’s a secure garden for fresh air and toilet breaks, plus lots of attention, toys, and cosy spots to relax. My own dog is very playful so always tags along — she loves having company and helps visiting dogs settle in. For overnight stays, I try to fit in a trip to the beach — perfect for a good run around and a change of scenery. I always tailor activities to suit each dog’s energy level and routine so they feel right at home.

It’s important for me to know if your dog is comfortable around other dogs, as I have a German Shepherd of my own whom will be here during their stay. She’s very friendly, but as a large breed, it’s essential your dog is happy being around bigger dogs. I’d also like to know about your dog’s usual routine, energy levels, and any behavioural quirks or triggers. Please let me know if they have any medical needs, allergies, or require medication, as I’m happy to accommodate that. I want every dog to feel safe, settled, and well looked after — so the more I know, the better I can tailor their care. I’m also happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
