Animal Behaviour Student: West-End/Aberdeen City
I am a lifelong animal lover - so much so, I study animal behaviour at The University of Aberdeen! My course has included a 3rd-year module in Animal Welfare, for which I achieved an ‘A’ grade. In 2022, I completed a New Skills Academy Pet Sitting/Dog Walking online course, which included modules on professionalism, safety, and pet care. Between 2011-2012, I volunteered weekly at a veterinary clinic, assisting the vet in procedures and appointments. This provided me with ample experience in handling a wide variety of animals. I have years of experience in pet-sitting/dog walking. I fostered a cockapoo from June-August, for 2 years in a row. I regularly pet-sit and walk a rescue lurcher. In 2023, I was a live-in cat sitter in London for 2 weeks. My home doesn’t feel complete without an animal. I raised my own dog (German Shepherd cross) from puppyhood until she passed away, and in 2023, I adopted a ragdoll cat. I absolutely adore all animals and love providing enrichment to any pet in my care, through playing games, playing with toys, food puzzles, and teaching new behaviours. Learning about dog/cat breeds has always been a particular passion of mine. I am well-versed in breed-specific traits and love adjusting my approach based on an individual pet’s needs. There’s nothing that beats a purring cat or a waggy dog tail!

Drop-in 🏡 🐱🐶: This is a great option for Cats, Puppies and Senior Dogs. Services offered: feed/water; brush; give medication; play with toys; let into garden/bring in; fill enrichment toys (if provided); give treats (if provided); clean litter tray; replace puppy pads; clean up accidents; open/close curtains. Dog Walking🐾🐶: I am happy to do on-lead or off-lead walks (whichever you prefer to keep your dog happy and safe!). I am happy to use any equipment/treats/toys you provide. House Sitting 🏡 🐶🐱:Overnight Care in Owner’s home. Or no overnight for a lowered rate. For dogs, this typically includes 3 walks (morning, afternoon, evening) or maintaining the dog’s regular schedule/activities. Standard of 2.5 hours of walks/outdoor time daily. Grooming/bathing as required and free of charge. Doggy Day Care 🐶🏠: Ideally located for City Workers. Excellent option if you’re out for the day. I only host dogs from one household at a time - excellent for dogs who don’t cope in a busy, multi-dog environment. Home away from home - couch cuddles, treats, and walks in the park are mandatory! ❤️ Spacious West End Ground Floor Flat in a quiet, residential street. 2-minute walk to Victoria Park 🌳🌲 🌸 Garden shared with upstairs owners (with no pets) Non-aggressive ragdoll cat who previously lived with dogs. Can drop off/collect for additional fee. 8 hours of care - drop off/pick-up time flexible Additional charge if stay exceeds 8 hours or planned pick-up/drop off times. Requirements for Daycare Guests: •Cat-tested/ Low prey-drive •House-trained

Once again, Susie provided a great walk for our Murphy. We can see how settled he is with her after a few meets now and appreciate her patience with his stubbornness on walks. Murphy came back from the walk relaxed and tired.
We had our first solo walk with Susie and Murphy. I was nervous for Murphy’s first ever walk without a familiar face but we have met Susie a couple of times in advance and he was the happiest boy in her company. I can’t stress enough how calm and reassuring Susie is. Clearly a natural with animals. Murphy was very well cared for and most importantly every little request or point to highlight to Susie was well respected. Highly recommend Susie 😊

As usual, Susie was great with our girls. She is super attentive to their needs and moods, and has charmed our shy little black cat into offering affectionate headbutts! I always feel secure knowing Susie is looking in on our cats, so I can relax while away.
Susie is a natural with our golden retriever who can get overly excited at first but soon settled with Susie on his walk. She takes great care to listen to specific requests and needs for our dog which is massively appreciated especially due medical requirements
