“Linda was a pleasure to meet and such a perfect match for our needs & Barneys! Linda was really accommodating and very professional and friendly, and certainly looked after Barney’s needs perfectly. We would highly recommend Linda when you visit Inverness or are local and need a reliable dog sitter!”

About: I’m not just a dog sitter—I’m someone who treats your dog like family. With 25 years of experience, I provide premium, personalized care that meets your dog’s unique needs. From regular updates and photos to flexible hours, I ensure your dog feels safe, loved, and well-cared for, so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing they’re in the best hands. Pet care is my daily joy—playtime, walks, and endless cuddles! I keep things exciting with new adventures and lots of love for your furry friend. I provide a safe, secure environment with a fenced garden for playtime. My own dog keeps yours company, ensuring they have fun, feel at ease, and stay active.
About: I’ve had 4 rescue dogs of my own over the past few years as well as fostering dogs whilst helping to train and build their confidence before rehoming them for various charities. I’m a self employed musician who’s touring schedule means that I have large periods of extended free time at home especially during the winter months including both weekdays and weekends. I’m used to working with and looking after dogs of all sizes with various behavioural issues, alongside those who simply love a cuddle! I can provide toilet breaks, feeding, playtime, as well as companionship during the daytime.
About: I’ve owned my own dachshund for 3 years and if you know the breed you understand that I have plenty of experience with anxious trouble makers. I also have a working collie so can deal with high energy dogs as well. I am currently applying for a masters degree so my summers are free for some doggy adventures ! I am at home from Monday to Friday most days to dog sit with the occasional adventure day where I go on longer hikes and walks. If your pooch would enjoy this longer day out contact me to arrange for a mountain climb or longer adventure. All dogs in my care will remain on lead at all times (can be an extendable lead or a long line) to ensure everyone is safe at all times. When traveling in a car I do require pets to have a travel safe harness to be able to use my dog seatbelts. All dog walks will be recorded on Strava with my emergency contact having our location at all times to ensure safety when out.i can also provide owners with tracking information as well.
“Or dog is nervous around strangers and Niamh has been very patient and willing to work with Toby to gain his trust. We are very grateful for her flexibility and understanding in working with us this week.”
About: I've had a diverse range of experiences with dogs throughout my life, having cared for three dogs, including Yorkshire terriers and boxers. This variety has given me a deep understanding of different breeds and their unique needs. Beyond my own pets, I've also assisted numerous family and friends with dog walking and sitting, ensuring their furry companions receive the love and attention they deserve. My hands-on experience has not only strengthened my skills in handling various dog personalities but has also allowed me to build lasting relationships with both the pets and their owners. I am currently in my final few months of university studying to be a nurse, a lot of my time is spent at home with uni work and when I’m on placement I’m only working 3 days a week so have the rest of the week free for other activities. I live in a second floor flat which has a fenced garden area, the area is very safe and is most suitable for smaller dogs but medium size dogs are also fine, I usually would take dogs away from the house for walks in dog parks/ dog friendly areas
About: I’ve had dogs since I was young, I fully trained my most recent dog Winston, to know recall when off lead on walks. I can cater to every dogs needs, whether it be a calmer short walk for an older dog or a excitable walk for a high energy dog. I am currently in university studying business management and working part time but would like to venture out more and start my day off great with walking happy tails. I have a fenced off grass garden, with two friendly dogs off my own. They would be walked at a different times to your dogs
