When we dropped him off he went in very happily and upon collection he had obviously been happy staying there with his routine followed. “Sharon looked after our dog Gus for a long weekend, we couldn’t recommend Sharon higher! We do a meet and greet the night before to meet them all. She instantly put us at ease and we felt so comfortable leaving Gus. She kept us updated throughout his stay, sent us lots of pictures and generally just delivered 5star care. We would absolutely use her again, she was utterly fantastic and Gus throughly enjoyed his trip”

About: Welcome! Experienced Dog Lover in Beautiful Inverness After 15½ wonderful years with our beloved Lhasa Apso, Milly, I now have the time and heart space to welcome a new furry friend into our home. Your dog will receive the same love, attention, and care that made Milly’s life so special. What I Offer: I’m home-based in Inverness, surrounded by beautiful woodlands perfect for adventures and just a short distance from the beach. Whether your pup loves long forest walks or gentle beach strolls, they’ll get plenty of exercise and fresh air. Your Dog, Our Family: From the moment your dog arrives, they’ll be treated as part of our family, not just a guest. I understand how important your pet is to you, and I’m committed to providing a safe, loving environment where they can thrive. I’m happy to send daily updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind. A Lifelong Animal Lover: I grew up surrounded by pets (goldfish, hamsters, guinea pigs, cats, and dogs) and have cared for both cats and dogs throughout my adult life. I know what it takes to make animals feel comfortable, secure, and loved. I work part-time my schedule allows for me to have time to ensure dogs are exercised regularly throughout the day I can spend quality time with the dogs in my care. I have a fenced off garden to the rear of my house and a large field and woodland walks on my doorstep to ensure dogs are exercised regularly throughout the day.
About: I have always loved dogs and had family dogs growing up. I have looked after and taken care of plenty of friends’ and family’s dogs to help out while they’ve been away since then! I work full time but do some work from home so can hopefully fit this around stays to be there for company. I have plenty of time for walks before and after work. I’m also often around at the weekends and love a good dog walk. I have a fenced garden so your dogs can spend time outside. I also live close to plenty of green space which is great for dog walks.
About: I have taken care of my own animals and those of friends and family for 10+ years. I have had my own dog, cats, guinea pigs and hamsters, and have taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes. I currently have two confident and dog-friendly cats. I have experience looking after animals with additional health or care needs, including elbow dysplasia, megaesophagus feeding requirements and giving routine medications. I currently work flexibly from home or in my office, depending on my work and personal schedule. I am able to be flexible, but usually work 9-6 with a lunch break for walks with furry friends. I have a fenced and good sized garden and pets have free roam of the house. Our cats come and go through their cat flap and are confident and friendly with dogs after a couple of meetings. For having dogs at my home, I’d like to understand their relationship and behaviour towards cats. In a pet owners home I would take instructions from the owner on how to care for their animals. I would treat their animals and home with respect and care, and would look to meet prior to be shown the home/where things are kept.

“Bailey had a short weekend stay with Michelle and her husband. She had a fun time with Arno and enjoyed a long walk on Saturday. I have no hesitation in recommending Michelle and will certainly consider using her again.”

About: Laura and I have had dogs all our lives. We routinely dog sit for friends and family. We understand how challenging it can be to have a reliable carer for your dog that you can trust, allowing you to make the most of your time away. Having 3 dogs of varying ages (Axl (15), Chess (12) and Louie (4)), we know how important it is to be flexible in catering to your dog's specific requirements, whether that be medications, toilet routine, exercise or training. Although Chris doesn't hold formal qualification, he is something of a dog whisperer and can use some of the time with your dog to work on specific aspects of obedience with prior agreement. Our baby, TJ, was a 2025 addition to the family and has grown up around our dogs. Naturally, we could not board dogs with a history of agression towards other pets or humans/children. Daily routine - awake 0700-0730, breakfast 0800, dinner 1700, taken outside at 1 - 2 hour intervals throughout the day, short walk around lunchtime, longer walk in the afternoon (dog dependent), bedtime around 2230. Laura and I are currently balancing parental leave and part-time WFH, so there will always be at least one of us at home, if we're not out on a walk. We have a huge (0.25 acre) enclosed grass garden, ideal for training off-lead walking and recall. We are lucky to have locally accessible fields suitable for both on and off lead walks, depending on recall. If your dog travels well, local beaches and forests make for exciting longer adventures.

My dream is to have a small croft where I can have a horse and lots of other animals: goats, sheep and hens. I have 4 collies (2 bitches/2 dogs) who I am bringing on and are well trained and excellent with other dogs. Two of my collies are sheepdogs and I train them regularly. They need a lot of mental and physical stimulation so I am out three times a day, either in the park playing football or further afield at the farm, beach, lochs woods or more rural areas to get plenty of uninterrupted doggo time. I am also experienced in breeding and have raised 3 litters of pups. I work from home Mon- Thùr and take my dogs out three times a day. Fridays and weekends are adventure/play time for longer walks, swimming or exploring new areas. I have a 6ft fenced garden with access to fields, walking tracks, woods. “Laura was a wonderful overnight carer for our greyhound. He clearly enjoyed his walk and was completely relaxed and happy in Laura’s home. Always an anxious experience when you leave your dog with a new carer but Laura was totally relaxed and and clearly very competent.”

“We had not used a dog boarding service before and were quite apprehensive about leaving our Cocker Spaniel, Keira, with a stranger for two weeks. However, after our initial visit to meet Kerry and her own pets we felt more at ease and happy that Keira would be able to settle down with her new friends and family. During our holiday Kerry responded to our messages promptly and kept us informed about Keira’s integration into her new surroundings. I would say that Keira was made very welcome and possibly even spoiled by Kerry and her family so, she would have felt very comfortable in her new “home”. I can highly recommend Kerry as a dog boarder and would have no hesitation in using her services again. Thank you so much for looking after our precious pup. William”

“Sandra did a lovely job caring for Morgan for 3 nights. She sent an update on the first day with photos which was very reassuring. Morgan looked happy and healthy when picked up. I would highly recommend Sandra.”

“I would highly recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. She came to meet my cat a couple of days before I went away, which gave me great peace of mind and allowed us to go through everything properly. Throughout my holiday, she was incredibly prompt, professional, and attentive. She kept me updated with photos and messages, which was so reassuring and showed how well my cat was being looked after. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cat’s wellbeing and took the time to make sure she was happy and comfortable on her visits. I won’t hesitate to use her services again! Thank you!”

About: As a family we adore dogs. We are previously had a cocker spaniel who lived a happy loved life and died of old age when our daughter was a baby. As our life over the past 8 years has been busy bringing up our 2 children now 8 and 5 we didnt think it was a right time to bring a dog into the family. We are now considering a dog but want to ensure its the right decision before making the huge commitment again. Our daughter who is 8, is a animal lover she has a pony which she shares with her granny and the love and kindness she she shows her pony is heartwarming. She is also very committed to animal welfare and caring for all animals pets and wildlife. She is very keen for a dog and would like the opportunity to prove herself. For her 8th birthday she asked for poo bags to practice picking up dog poo! Serious commitment picking up other people's dog poo!! She has had experience with other family members dogs and friends and neighbours dogs and is very sensible and aware of dog behaviours as has read and studied various dog books. We would obviously support observe and assist the children at all times. As a family we are very active we have a suitable garden for a dog and live very close to a rural walk that is suitable for on lead or off lead walks. We are also own a property on the west coast of Scotland which is almost on the beach pictured. We would be delighted to take a dog that we got to know over time for longer periods to our holiday home for holiday cover if required, it's a dog's paradise. We would mainly be able to welcome a dog during the weekends. As we would all be off without commitments the day would very much revolve around the dog and its needs. We would plan our day around walks and meal times for the dog and it will be with us at all times never being left alone. Completely fenced dog safe back garden. Dog completely supervised at all times in the garden and when with the children. The house will be dog safe and appropriate place for the dog to rest/sleep will be available. No doubt on the sofa in front of the fire if owners allow this!

“This was Anya second time with Laura. The minute we got close to her house Anya was excitedly looking out of the window. She literally ran up to the house and was jumping up at the door waiting to spend time with Laura. Although excited to see me when I came back she definitely wanted to stay longer. Highly recommend Laura.”

“Bumble had a fantastic stay with Sharon, and it was great to see him enjoying a wee 'zoomie' session in the garden, with Sharon's dog, when we picked him up. After our initial meeting with Sharon, I was very confident that Bumble would be very well looked after, and it's obvious he was. i would have no hesitation in leaving Bumble with Sharon in future, and would happily recommend anyone looking for dog care, to consider Sharon. Many thanks.”

“Jane was absolutely lovely to deal with and took great care of Felix. She was very friendly and easy to deal with and made it very rest to deal with her. I would recommend her to everyone and hope to see her again soon”

“I used Chris and Laura's Doggy Day Care and Sitting service for the first time today, and they were absolutely brilliant. They kept me well informed about how Chewy was getting on throughout the day, spent lots of time walking him, and worked on his recall and off-lead training. It was clear that they genuinely care about the dogs in their care and put a lot of effort into helping them learn and have fun. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter, and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thank you both for taking such great care of Chewy! Kylie”
About: I have loved dogs since I was a child. I had a characterful fox terrier that required a lot of work. Patience and consistency made my dog behave every day. Which made our bond even stronger. Currently, I do not have a dog due to trips to my family in Poland. However, I could help during your trip, and I promise that your pet will receive a lot of love, care and attention from me. I work full time. I have Sundays and Mondays off. I work in the mornings. So I have a lot of free time in the afternoon to take care of your pet. I have a cat at home who is very friendly to other cats and dogs. I don't have a garden, but there are forests very close that allow for safe walks

About: Hello, welcome to our page! 😄 Myself and my husband are dog mad, we’ve always had at least one dog for the past 13 years! We’ve got experience with large breeds and teeny breeds too. We had Sasha (an Alaskan Malamute) who we unfortunately lost very suddenly in June 2021 and Charlie (a chihuahua cross) who we lost last April. We now have an absolutely crazy Cocker Spaniel called Arlo who definitely keeps us busy! Arlo loves going for long walks and my husband, Gary takes him for about 6 miles. Gary will be doing this with me and helping with all your pooches needs. We also have a 5 (nearly 6 as she keeps reminding me! 🙄) daughter who just loves dogs. She has been pestering us to get another dog since we lost Charlie last year but due to work commitments etc. introducing another dog to our family full time just isn’t feasible at present. So that’s why we’ve decided to help you look after your beloved! Please note our child is very respectful to dogs and won’t be left unattended with any dog! We aim to have your dog feel like it’s part of the family while it’s staying with us! If you have any questions, please just get in touch! ☺️ Gary & Michelle We are available for pet boarding over the weekends! We can arrange for toilet visits during the week if local to us! Your dog will be well exercised! I have a fully fenced back garden. A very lovable and energetic cocker spaniel, who wants to be friends with everyone! Any dogs staying with us will need to be good with other dogs and kids… she is 6 going on 16!
“Thank you, Chrissy for taking Ruby and giving her such a wonderful walk. It says a lot when your dog happily goes off with you - I think dogs are such a good judge of people! Thank you so much again. Amazing service and contact 🤩”

“Sandra did a lovely job caring for Morgan for 3 nights. She sent an update on the first day with photos which was very reassuring. Morgan looked happy and healthy when picked up. I would highly recommend Sandra.”
