Experienced and love dogs
I have looked after / owned dogs for almost 20 years. We lost our beloved dog Holly in 2023 after adopting her as a young dog and we really miss time with her and walking. However, due to having two small children, owning another dog at this time is not possible. I have helped friends over the last two years and have also been contacted through them by other people to look after their dogs for holidays. I can help out Monday and Fridays during the day and weekends/holidays also. I currently have two fairly regular dogs that I look after and this is working really well for us. Please get in touch and we can see if we're able to help out with walks/holidays/overnights.

Hamish was very excited when we drove up to Sarah’s, jumped out of the car and ran in. Sarah sent me photographs a wee while later. He was settled nicely. He’d been unsettled during the night, unfortunately for Sarah. But he was fine when I collected him. He sat on my knee and slept when we got home. 24 hrs later and he’s definitely back to normal. He’s 7 and in all that time he’s only had 1 night away from family, but Sarah looked after him really well. He’s looking forward to another visit in the future, hopefully. Thank you, Sarah
This was Skye’s first time with Sarah. She hasn’t been watched by anyone other than family for a while so we were a bit nervous. Sarah put us at ease and after Skye settled she had a great time. She came away very happy. She will definitely be back. Thank you for the updates too, really appreciated. ❤️
Sarah is a kind and caring passionate animal lover who is excellent with my nervous poodle cross. She adapts herself to all breeds of dog and is highly trustworthy. She is a lovely person who epitomises being a dog lover.
Sarah looks after my dog every now and then and shes perfect with him. Shes so reliable and professional. My dog loves her . Her communication is fantastic and I would definitely recommend her.
Sarah has been helping care for my dog Libby for almost a year now and is an absolute gem. Libby loves going to stay with Sarah and her family and has the best love and care there. Nothing is too much bother and Sarah is always happy to help. We would be lost without her. Thank you, Sarah.

Schedule
I work part time (Tues/wed/thurs) so am available the other 4 days to help with walks/sitting/boarding. If I have a dog in then I am home mostly. Dog wouldn’t be left for long periods just for school drop off etc.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large enclosed back garden and live near a large park which is great for dogs. Also happy to take dogs in the car for trips / walks further afield. Dogs are allowed on the sofa and upstairs. Generally not on the bed during the night.
A typical day
Love getting out for walks. We have a large quiet park nearby along the river. Large back garden and enjoy playing games with dogs. Also like trips out in the car to new places for walks.
