Harley's doggy pals. Our home is their home.
Just love dogs! We would love to look after your dearest pals 24/7 whilst your on holiday, weekends away, last minute emergencies or called into work. Dogs are a gift and I know how special a bond they have with mum, dad and family. That's why you can trust us with your best pal . We offer chilled out evenings, sleepy overnight stays and fun packed days. In the past I was a volunteer for German Shepherd rescue , guide dogs fundraising and have walked across steaming red hot coals raising money for The Dick vets small animal hospital who saved the life of our dearly missed 'Harley' pictured. We have gained invaluable knowledge and experience along the way. Whilst it hasn’t been just a walk in the park we’ve loved every adventure. Walking with our guests their safety and wellbeing is paramount. During the hot summer we carry ice cold water, bowls and walks mainly in the shade taking in the surrounding woodlands, burns, hills and fields (also the pub for a sneaky Puppachino ) A first aid pack is on hand for any unfortunate circumstances…minimising vet visits. Stress free doggy holidays .

Barry and Hillary are fabulous, put me at ease steaight away, their love of dogs is so evident. Greyson had a great first stay, hopefully the first of many. He was shattered when he came home, fed, walked, played and loved; what more do you need!

Barry and Hilary are just so kind and caring; our Scottie girl gets the best care (and loads of love) from them and I absolutely know that she is one happy girl with them. I cannot thank them enough for the peace of mind I have when Scottie visits them💕
Dougal had stayed with Barry a few times now but this was the first time we left him for a weeks holiday. Barry is always great at updating you on how they are getting on and plenty of photos and videos of Dougal on walks and completely at ease in the house. Booking process is great and Barry is always really responsive. We are delighted we have found the perfect pet sitter for our Dougal 😊
Our dog had a fantastic time with Barry. We were kept up to date with how she was getting on. He’s very caring and enthusiastic.
Bertie had the best time with Barry and the other doggies in his care. He absolutely loves staying with Barry and Hilary and I have total peace of mind that he will be looked after so well 😊

Schedule
Dog minding is my weekly routine since we have decided to go full time. We simply love having the dogs around and we keep each other fit .

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs simply come first. Our guests are never left alone and they have the run of the house. We have a very secure completely high fenced off garden ( even the plants and flowers are dog friendly)
A typical day
Depending on the guest or guests. We have lovely rural and urban walks. If permitted swimming and splashing in Burns (Scotland) streams (England). Again via permission local dog friendly pub for a Puppachino and loves from pub owners.
