Hi, I’m Sophia, a 23-year-old student at the University of Glasgow! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have always had a strong love for animals. Our family dog was a German Shepherd cross, so I’m comfortable around larger breeds as well as smaller dogs. After he passed away, my family and I began dog sitting and caring for many dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Since moving to Glasgow for university, I’ve really missed having dogs around, so I decided to get back into dog sitting and dog walking. I’ve absolutely loved being able to spend more time with animals again and getting to know each pet’s unique personality. While I have plenty of experience with dogs, I’m also a huge cat lover and really enjoy spending time with cats of all ages and temperaments. I’ve even befriended many of the neighbourhood cats near me!

I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. I stick to their usual routine, pay close attention to their individual needs, and make sure they’re never left in unsafe situations. I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how they’re getting on.

Sophia was absolutely fantastic with Arlo and Ghost. She kept me updated throughout the day with lovely messages and photos, and honestly her updates had me smiling all day seeing what they were getting up to 🥹❤️ She really took the time to understand both of their different personalities, was so patient with Ghost, and Arlo clearly thought she was wonderful. I came home to two very happy, very tired dogs! I felt completely at ease knowing they were with her and would absolutely recommend Sophia to anyone looking for someone kind, attentive and genuinely brilliant with dogs.

Sophia is amazing! She is the first and only sitter I’ve ever booked for my 4-month-old puppy, Jasper, and she has looked after him several times—from a few hours to a recent 3-day stay in my flat. Jasper is visibly happy to see her when she arrives, and he increasingly loves cuddling up with her. Sophia doesn’t just keep him company; she spends quality time working on his training (like 'leave it', which has been a huge help on our walks) and takes him to cafés and shops for socialisation. She has also been incredibly patient during his 'land shark' teething phase! Sophia is highly responsive, flexible with times, and based in Glasgow. I completely recommend her for dogs of any age!

Schedule
I am a university student about to start my final year of an integrated master’s degree. My schedule is flexible outside of lectures and study time, and I can plan my day around pet care. I am available for regular toilet breaks, walks, feeding, and attention throughout the day depending on the booking.

- The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better. I'd love to know about their routine, personality, likes and dislikes, any training or behavioural quirks, medical needs, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Having as much information as possible allows me to create the best environment for them and make their time in my care as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
