Pet care experience

Experienced Dog Groomer 🐾

I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I grew up with 2 Border Terriers and I currently have a 9 month old Retriever x Setter called Sully, which means I’m very familiar with training, routines, and all the energy (and patience!) that comes with young dogs. I work professionally as a dog groomer and have been grooming for the past two years, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperaments, and needs. I’m confident handling nervous, excitable, and high-energy dogs, and I always prioritise their comfort and safety. Alongside grooming, I’ve also worked in a veterinary practice as a Veterinary Care Assistant, where I gained valuable experience supporting animal health and wellbeing. I’m trained in dog first aid, which gives owners extra peace of mind while their dogs are in my care. I also own a car, so I’m happy to travel for walks and pet care as needed. Your dog would always come first, and I understand how daunting it is leaving your pet so would send many updates and pictures to keep your mind at ease 🐾

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I couldn’t love my own 14 year old Border Terrier or my puppy more if I tried. I know how precious pets are to people and would truly treat your pet as if it were my own. If your pet needs to be let out every 10 minutes, count me in! If your pet needs a 2 hour walk, count me in! If your pet just needs the occasional check in, you can count on me. I am here to suit your needs and your pets needs. Due to my career in dogs I am fully First Aid Trained for dogs and have proof of this if required.

This was our first time having Clarrie look after Finn and she took wonderful care of him. We could see how happy he was with her from our first meeting and he had a fantastic time with lots of walks and fun. Clarrie kept us updated with great communication from start to finish, which meant we could relax and enjoy our time away knowing he was in safe hands. We would highly recommend Clarrie and will definitely be booking again. Thank you so much, Clarrie!
