I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and currently have a dog of my own, so caring for them is something that comes very naturally to me. Since I was around 10 years old, neighbours, friends and family have trusted me to look after their pets, whether that’s feeding them, taking them on walks, or spending time playing and keeping them company. I’m reliable, attentive and genuinely love animals, so I always make sure every pet feels safe, happy and well cared for while their owner is away.

Lola is a 5yo, 40kg rescue dog. We're her 4th family, she was very reactive when we got her, and although she's better around other dogs now, we are always alert in case her reactiveness is triggered again by separation issues, as this was the case after leaving her in kennels a few years ago. We chose Monica because of her excellent reviews in Rover and we are more than happy with the job she's done. We met her and her dog Rory a few weeks?before our holidays and from that day we knew she was the right person as she came across as responsible and knowledgeable dog lover, with more than enough experience to look after Lola, and we found that Rory was a playful dog with a lovely nature who respected Lola's boundaries. The day we dropped her, we also met her partner who was also excited to have Lola, they're a beautiful and genuine couple and as Lola is a big girl we found their flat was a good size. We went on our holidays with a peace of mind knowing she was going to be well looked after. We are very grateful Monica noticed Lola wasn't peeing during the first 24 hours of her stay, as she becomes anxious around new people and new places and gave her extra walks and kept us updated on her development. In no time, Lola had settled and we got lovely updates of her. We know our dog and the videos showed she was comfortable and happy, showing her goofy personality. When we picked her up, Monica had prepared a bag with all her stuff. Lola was happy and relaxed around them and we knew it had been a good time for her as well. We took her for a walk right after and it was very nice to see her behavior with no setbacks, we think the whole experience of staying with them and Rory helped Lola build trust and confidence.
I am really pleased to have chosen Monica to look after my dog Evee. Evee liked her and felt safe from the moment they met. It became quite clear from our first chat that had good understanding of dogs and how to care for them. She is professional, trustworthy and friendly in all her interactions and I will continue to use Monica’s services in the future.
Monica has been helping me with introducing my dog to muzzle training while on walks as he has been showing signs of reactivity. Such a huge help!

As always, Monica goes above and beyond for my rescue pup. She is compliant with all his specific needs and knows how to handle him. My boy absolutely loves his walks with her. Couldn’t recommend a better dog walker.
Monica was excellent from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Our first booking was an overnight stay for our pup Ollie during our wedding. Monica arranged a pre-meet which went really well and then was super flexible on timings which made our day so much easier. Ollie had the best time with her pup Rory and came back absolutely knackered as they had been playing so much. If you’re thinking about using Monica for your dog then DO IT! Five stars!

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine as I already have a dog of my own and go on daily walks. I am at home all week so I’m available for dog walks, drop-ins, pet sitting and doggy day care. I’m flexible where possible and always make time to ensure dogs get plenty of attention, exercise and care.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always make sure dogs are supervised, walked safely and kept in a calm, caring environment. Having grown up with dogs and owning one myself, I’m very aware of their needs and behaviour. I will follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks and any specific instructions, so they feel secure and happy while you’re away. I have a miniature labradoodle named Rory who is very friendly and loves having a doggy companion!

A typical day
Your dog’s day with me will be full of fun, attention, and care. We’ll enjoy plenty of walks, playtime, and lots of mental stimulation through games and exploring new smells. I love taking dogs to nearby parks for fresh air and exercise, while also making sure they have time to rest, relax, and feel comfortable at home. I’ll always tailor the day to suit their energy levels and routine.
