Like a lot of German Shepherds cookie is very bonded to me her main owner, and it is difficult to leave her on first visit, but this wonderful family could not have made her more welcome. About: Hi, I’m Gillian. I’m a lifelong dog lover and have had dogs as part of my family since I was a young child. As a mum of two children and two much-loved dogs, I understand that every dog deserves to be treated with the same love, patience and care as our own. I work as a property investor, which means I have a flexible schedule and spend much of my time at home. This allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship and exercise, whether your dog is staying with us, coming for daycare or joining me for a walk. I’ve taken the time to educate myself on positive, reward-based dog training methods and believe that calm, consistent handling helps dogs feel safe and secure. My aim is to provide a happy, relaxed environment where your dog can settle in, have fun and receive lots of love while you’re at work or away on holiday. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I promise to care for your dog as if they were one of my own. I have recently left a 9 to 5 job to focus on property investing and working for myself. This allows me to be at home more often although I do go out but only for a few hours at a time. We take our own dogs for a walk first thing in the morning, around lunchtime and before bedtime. If your dog was boarding with us they would follow the same routine. I can be available for pet visits and dog walking throughout the day either for short, local walks or can take them to the nearest park or open area for a long walk/run to suit. My dogs love the ball thrower so can keep them entertained for as long as needed! I have a fenced garden with lots of space to run around! I have 2 dogs of my own - cocker spaniel and a border collie and they love having friends to play with. For boarding I will take 1 dog at a time or 2 if from the same household. For day care I can take up to 3 dogs at a time. If needed I can keep dogs separate as I have a converted garage in the garden. I can administer medication if needed and provide any specific treats. I’m happy to send pictures and updates to you and can tailor walks and routines to suit your dog’s needs as appropriate.

I had these as Pets Millie my Jack Russel lived to over 16 years she is now buried in my garden to keep her close .I currently own a 7 year Border Collie flow who is a wonderful dog so clever and obedient. I’m retired police officer so have lots of time to make sure your dog is well catered for with plenty of walks in different environments and love going to the rouken glen park for the glen walks that dogs love . I retired but still do couple days a week part time .This gives me loads of time to dedicate to your dog and take them really nice walks in the park and other green areas which are all close by . I live in newton mearns I have a fully enclosed garden and plenty of house space . I have completely road safe areas to the front of my home full of pedestrian paths that are great for dog walking .I also live close to many green areas which are really good and only 5 mins from rouken glen park were I love to the dogs a big walk in nature and play fun games with them .

“Kwai and his lovely family looked after Bonnie so well. She's an older girl and has kidney problems so needs special care but they made sure she was completely comfortable. She had lovely walks on her doggie sitting afternoon. We were also sent regular happy photos to keep us in touch. Kwai's prices are really fair especially as it was a holiday weekend and short notice. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to have Bonnie booked with them again.”

“I booked Cara to dogsit for my 40th so I could enjoy the day without worrying whether the dogs were bothering anyone while I hosted a little picky‑bits lunch at home with friends. From the very start, Cara was brilliantly attentive and diligent — quick to respond about availability, happy to meet in advance to give me peace of mind, and even arranged a second meet‑up closer to the date so she could see the dogs in action. They adored her from the moment they met her, and I knew instantly they were going to have a great day. Was lovely in person, took our puppy no issues and handled her great, sent lots of updates and pictures/videos and even dealt with an indoor toilet accident without issue. Puppies are a ton of work, especially these active breeds so that was really appreciated. Nice wee photo at the end of our puppy sleeping beside her, so obviously happy and tired out. About: Aside from caring for our own family pet Charlie (miniature schnauzer who is 14 years old and still going strong!) I have cared for many family and friend pets over the years, predominantly small to medium sized dogs ranging from rescue to working farm dogs. My younger sister is also a qualified vet whom I have gained experience looking out for specific health signs as well as day to day care. As an environmental professional I am naturally a very outdoorsy person and have good experience hiking with dogs. As such, I would be more than happy to take dogs out on bigger walks on weekends if that would be helpful to owner and enjoyable for the dog! I am an environmental consultant working hybrid between my flat in Shawlands and office in Glasgow city centre. I will be available consistency two days a well (likely Monday and Friday) and I am looking to help out with walking or dog sitting while working at home, as well as open to dogsitting for longer periods once both pet and owners feel comfortable! I live on the second floor of a tenement flat which comprises a big hallway, kitchen and bedroom where the pet would be welcome to chill in while I work. I also have access to a private, fenced garden on the ground floor that your pet would be welcome to run around while I supervised, meaning they would have regular access to toilet breaks as required.
About: I’ve had dogs all my life and can’t picture myself without one. Right now I have Sierra, a 10-year-old rescue who has been with me for 9 years. I had a cat, Leo, for 14 years, and Sierra is very used to spending time with cats and other dogs. I live near some great parks where I’ll take your dog and will adapt to all his or her needs. For cats, I know how to give them the space they need and want, but I’ll give them all the love and attention they want. I work from home, so I’ll give them breakfast when we wake up, go out for a walk (from 30min to 1h), come back and relax while I work. If needed, I can take small breaks and take them out, otherwise we will go for another walk at lunchtime. At 5, I’ll feed them dinner (obviously I’ll adapt to whatever yours for your pet) and we go to the park to play/sniff/walk… We will go out again at around 8 for a quick walk (30 min or so), before bed time. I have my own dog who gets along with dogs and cats. They can sleep on the bed, sofa, floor, their own bed… wherever they want. They won’t be left unattended and I’ll adapt to their requirements.

About: Growing up I was surrounded by all sorts of pets from dogs, cats, hamsters, and Guinea pigs, I’ve always been an animal lover. I have a very large, fully enclosed garden. My own dog Pete loved the garden to run around in and I often look after friends or relatives dogs. It’s an absolute dream for them to explore and enjoy. Fresh water is always available in garden bowls and if the weather is good it’s al fresco doggy dining. It’s so important to make a dog feel safe. They cannot trust you unless they feel that safety.

I grew up with two very different dogs, one a lively Springer Spaniel and the other a gentle Maltese, so I’m used to both high-energy walks and smaller dogs that deserve just as much attention. Over the years, I’ve regularly looked after friends’ and family members’ dogs, whether that’s daily walks, overnight stays, or just keeping them company while their owners are away. It never feels like a chore and it’s always feels rewarding when they are comfortable while being away. I’ve recently moved to the Southside of Glasgow and I’m just a five-minute walk from Queen’s Park, with a big walled garden at the flat too, so I’d love the opportunity to look after more dogs and make the most of being so close to the park. About: I’ve had dogs all my life, would love to have my own dog again one day but for now I enjoy looking after my close friends and family dogs when they need a sitter. I’m self employed so my schedule is very flexible with regards to being home, taking them out and spending lots of quality time with them. “So glad we decided to join this fantastic site. This was our first use of it. And we really hit the jackpot booking Belén to look after our wee princess. Bonnie has had the best time staying with Belén, during our time away on holiday. The overall care she has received has been of the highest quality. 2nd to none. Communication was excellent. Listened to, and followed all of the written and verbal instructions we left to a T. And as such, all of Bonnie's specific wee quirky needs were met. And then some! We received regular updates, with great photos, and short videos of Bonnie being Bonnie. Not too many. Not too few. Just right. We could clearly see how content Bonnie was. Be it out for walks, playing, or just chilling around the house. There was a heat wave and Bonnie received all the appropriate care under what must have been very challenging conditions. Including keeping a close eye on her. Keeping her cool, providing and encouraging the regular intake of frequent cool water drinks, and also knowing when to go out, or stay indoors. All of which was relayed to us, knowing the heatwave was a worry to us. Bonnie has a few chronic health issues, which require close attention. She had to attend a VETs appointment during our absence, which involved Belén acting as her garduian. This was managed in a very professional manner, and as a result, Bonnie received the treatment she was due, and the appropriate after care was given. Again, all communicated to us in a clear and concise manner. Also This, along with Belén's lovely caring nature left us having a worry and guilt free holiday. We will have no hesitation in booking Belén again. I do feel it's very important to let everyone know how terrific her service has been. Credit where credit is due. Great value for the money we paid, which we appreciated. And this might be a strange thing to say, but I really do believe Belén charges way less than what she should. 10/10 rating.”

We contacted them relatively last minute as we had a last minute change of plans for the weekend and had to travel to Paisley from near Birmingham with our beloved doggo in tow. The communication was spot on throughout, quick, clear and everything was really easy to arrange. They were so welcoming with Clement and completely unfazed by the fact that, while he’s incredibly friendly, he also comes with a generous helping of fur, slobber and love! They took him out on adventures during the day and he came back very happy, content and clearly very well looked after. In fact, I’m not entirely convinced he missed us at all!
