“Dora had a lovely stay with Jessica. Jessica is so friendly and Dora was very comfortable with her straight away. Dora went for a walk and a wee visit to meet some of Jessica’s family, and as we picked her up in the morning, they drove by and Dora was delighted to see them again! It was lovely - like Dora had been part of the family for 24 hours! No stress, no drama just a very happy dog. I’ve had pets in my home my entire life - both dogs and cats! Even in my childhood I loved to care and look after any animal I laid eyes on. I currently have two cats, Kaito (ragdoll) and Eevee (half bengal), both with very different personalities and quirks that I love to see. I plan to own even more cats when I’m able, as they’re truly one of life’s greatest joys to me. They brighten up a home and I adore to watch them grow and enjoy life. I also have experience in taking care of kittens and puppies, so if your baby is very young, I’m willing to taken them on and make sure they’re carefully looked after! I am starting college to study childcare and have worked with children as a Nursery Apprentice previously - which is a role I’m very passionate in as I also love taking care of children. “Taya was absolutely fantastic and really helped me out with poppy. At extremely last minute when I was let down by a friend going away, I was in panic mode as poppy was suffering with a really bad painful ear infection and really needed medication over the period I was away. Taya got back to me really quickly and nothing at all was a problem for her. I was really happy that she was able to meet poppy before I went away and Taya definately went above and beyond doing extra when she didn't need to. I felt so happy and comfortable knowing that I could go away and Taya was confident giving poppy her oral medication and ear drops. The update and photos of poppy looking extremely happy was excellent. About: I’ve been surrounded by animal since I was 5. I love all animals probably better than people 😀, I love taking care of all a puppy and dog needs. I love spending time with them and make sure they always have fun along with a deserved time off to relax. I’m Working part-time, I am not available the weekends right now but I’m free midweek. About: I started as a child rescuing strays and have rescued many since, I am a stay at home mother to an eleven year old daughter. We have 2 labs at present our old girl (whisper 14yrs)and her grandaughter(princess 1yr old) I literally dedicate my life to my family and pets, I pet sit regularly for friends and family so thought this would be perfect for me. Especially as we live in a small village and have a large fenced in garden. I walk my dogs every day long walks up the woods or sometimes down the local beach, as my daughters at school all day. Its a non smoking household, and i love pampering my pooches both of which are well socialised and love other dogs. I dont work outwith the home, so most of my time is dedicated to looking after my home, family and my dogs. I have always took rescue dogs. Until recently that is. As whisper was an ex breeding bitch that we took in, in order to give her the later yrs she deserved. But when we realised what an amazing dog she was, aswel as her outstanding pedigree, i decided to buy 1 of her daughters "autumn" pups ( as i know these breeders very well. I bought her in order to start breeding since i am at home all the time now. And since i have a few friends that already breed, i have plenty of people to rely on for advice. But "princess is only a yr old so i dont intend to breed her for another yr anyway. Hence why i decided to try this out. It just feels like the ideal job for me. I have a large fenced in garden. My dog "princess " is a very high energy and sometimes overly friendly especially when she first meets anyone and even more so when meeting other dogs. However she is very clever and well behaved and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. As we always had more than 1 dog aswell as regular dogs who boarded with us. But our 2 older dogs passed away and due to an unfortunate incident with 1 of our regular dogs who was older and had an undiagnosed underlying issue took a turn for the worst while in my care, traumatised me to a point that I actually stopped and am only just getting back to it now. Dont get me wrong we managed to get him to the vet in time and he survived infact the vet said we actually saved his life by not hesitating and rushing him there at 4am but it was extremely hard so that's why I am only just getting back into it. As we really miss having all the dogs around but we're not ready to get ourselves another one yet. Princess is very well socialised andlovesthecompany of other dog's butis unnuetered as we intend on having a litter from her. So can'ttakeun unnueteredmales forobviousreasons, i also have all the necessary crates,leads etc etc in order to care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am also learning how to groom dogs and have most of the equipment so love to practice on my clients dogs if they don't mind. I am a stay at home mother to my 13yr yr old daughter who is also an avid dog lover and one day hopes to become a vet. My life is devoted to my family and my dogs and any dogs that board with us are treated and classed as family. I walk my dogs every day,usually at least twice a day and having patio doors that lead straight out into my garden is ideal, as i tend to leave it open for the dogs to come in n out as they please. And no matter what i am doing, i am able to keep an eye on them at all timesandwe also have a 6foot fence all roundthe garden so it's very secure., The village i live in is surrounded by fields and wooded areas so i can allow my dogs to safely run and play off lead too,aswell as being very close to the beach where I often walk my dogs however i never take risks lettimg other people's dogs off lead unless its in a safe and secure place and I have cleared it with the dogs owner, and i do have long extending leads too. So no matter how well your dog is or isnt off lead they will still be able to join in the long leisurely walks and all the fun that entails.

I am unphased by larger breeds as I currently have a Romanian shepherd dog aged 1. She is very friendly and loves the company of other dogs. I live 5 minutes walk from the beach at Greenan Shore and just a 5 minute drive to the two beautiful local parks. The safety of your pets is paramount, I will only walk off lead with your written permission. As I have a 10 year old son, I can only take pets who are completely safe with children. My son also knows not to over pet a dog and respect space having had a very tricky rescue dog of our own in the past for many years. I am fully insured by Cliverton Pet Insurance. I work mainly from home so your pets will not be left unattended for more than 3 hours. If you have specific requests I will discuss these fully with you. I have an enclosed, private fenced garden. There is also plenty of room in the house for your pet to roam around freely. I live in a quiet, safe neighbourhood.

We were looking for someone who basically treated Buddy with the love and attention we give him and we found this in Alex. “I booked Cara to dogsit for my 40th so I could enjoy the day without worrying whether the dogs were bothering anyone while I hosted a little picky‑bits lunch at home with friends. From the very start, Cara was brilliantly attentive and diligent — quick to respond about availability, happy to meet in advance to give me peace of mind, and even arranged a second meet‑up closer to the date so she could see the dogs in action. They adored her from the moment they met her, and I knew instantly they were going to have a great day. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's cuddles, playtime, or medication support, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and genuine care. I am currently awaiting my fourth-year exam results, which I expect to receive by the end of June. Please feel free to get in touch regarding availability from September onwards. At present, I am unable to confirm dates definitively, but I will be happy to provide an update once my results are released. 🐾💜 I am currently transitioning into my final year at vet school which is claiming to be very full on leaving little free time however I update my calendar regularly so it’s usually accurate. With this being said I always try my best to fit in walks and drop ins so please do reach out and we can try sort something! I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet's needs. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping to their routine to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.
“Tayler is an absolute dream! She looked after my wee Yorkie on my wedding day coming to get him from the venue and walking him and checking in on him every couple of hours. She was perfect all day and did not try to contact us at all unless we contacted her for pictures, so as not to “annoy” us on our big day. I must have messaged her a million times before the day and she got back to be everytime. Nothing was ever a bother. I would never use anyone else”
About: I have always had pets in my home (mostly cats and dogs). I dog walk for a variety of my friends and family and have experience dog walking different breeds. I also cat sit and many have been cats that are rescued. I am excited to become and dog walker and pet sitter when required! I have recently went self employed and have so much time to dog walk and cat/dog sit when required. I prefer being self employed meaning i can do this when I want to and which best suits the owner. I am such an animal lover and want to spend time caring/ looking after animals as I see this as more of a hobby compared to a job because I love it so much. About: Hi I’m new to Rover but have over 20 years experience of looking after my own and clients’ dogs. I will treat your dogs just like my own, ensuring they receive unique and appropriate care whilst they are with me. I appreciate all dogs are so different and will go the extra mile to make them feel safe in my home. Having had many dogs into old age, senior dogs are perhaps a speciality of mine. I am unphased by larger breeds as I currently have a Romanian shepherd dog aged 1. She is very friendly and loves the company of other dogs. I live 5 minutes walk from the beach at Greenan Shore and just a 5 minute drive to the two beautiful local parks. The safety of your pets is paramount, I will only walk off lead with your written permission. As I have a 10 year old son, I can only take pets who are completely safe with children. My son also knows not to over pet a dog and respect space having had a very tricky rescue dog of our own in the past for many years. I am fully insured by Cliverton Pet Insurance. I work mainly from home so your pets will not be left unattended for more than 3 hours. If you have specific requests I will discuss these fully with you. I have an enclosed, private fenced garden. There is also plenty of room in the house for your pet to roam around freely. I live in a quiet, safe neighbourhood.
About: I’ve been surrounded by animal since I was 5. I love all animals probably better than people 😀, I love taking care of all a puppy and dog needs. I love spending time with them and make sure they always have fun along with a deserved time off to relax. I’m Working part-time, I am not available the weekends right now but I’m free midweek. I also have a 10 months lab which he is so friendly and full of energy puppy I always make sure I spend time with dogs, going for long adventures, includes normal walks (countryside or beach), playgrounds, feeding dogs accordingly to their diet, making sure they have plenty of space and all the attention & love that they deserve.

About: I’ve previously owned dogs, cats and horses and work in a doggy day care. I’m understanding of any breeds and personalities of all kinds of dogs I currently work Tuesday- Friday and off the weekend and Mondays to do some extra shifts playing and taking care of more dogs around the area I love to walk for hours so why not use that benefit and help you walk your dogs in lovely areas when timing in a struggle especially in winter

About: I’m a university law student with a big love for animals and over 4 years of experience caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Saint Bernards! I’ve always had a natural bond with animals and truly enjoy spending my free time making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m also great with cats and love looking after them too! About: I love all dogs - big and small! I grew up with dogs - a German short haired pointer and an Italian Spinone, as well as lots of other lovely dogs in my extended family too. I now have a three year old cocker spaniel called Juno. She is well trained and very sociable with all dogs and she loves to have other dogs to stay! I’m happy to work on any training needs your dog has while staying with me. I work from home 2 or 3 days a week. I tend to take Juno for one longer (1+ hours) walk per day as well as a couple of short trips to the park. I can adjust this depending on your dog - longer/more adventurous for energetic dogs and shorter/more gentle walks for older or slower dogs. We love to go down to Portobello, round Arthur’s Seat and up to Blackford Hill. I live on my own and have a 2 year old cocker spaniel. She is very friendly and gets on with all dogs - but also knows when to leave dogs that don’t want to play with her! I will only ever take one dog at a time so it will only ever be the two dogs together. I have a secure shared garden with grass lawn and surrounding stone wall. In the house, your dog can make itself at home. I have dog beds in both rooms and they are also welcome to be on the sofa/armchairs. I’ve got lots of dog toys and chews. My flat is on the third floor so may not be suitable for older dogs with mobility/joint issues.

Dora went for a walk and a wee visit to meet some of Jessica’s family, and as we picked her up in the morning, they drove by and Dora was delighted to see them again! It was lovely - like Dora had been part of the family for 24 hours! No stress, no drama just a very happy dog.
