I was very nervous about trusting someone with my dog that she doesn’t know as she takes time to get used to a person. Grant has shown great professionalism and patience in these last few weeks. Harley loves going out walks and has shown signs she trusts Grant. I could not have asked for a better person for the job. Definitely landed on my feet. Extremely happy and puts my mind as ease! Delighted! Would recommend Grant no questions asked!

About: I’m a semi retired, experienced dog owner of 42 years, with an abundance of time and energy to spend with your beloved pet. Having raised and loved many pets from young to old, I am confident that I can take the very best care of all your pets needs, at any time of the day or night, and at short notice. Walking, boarding, checking or sitting, I’m available so that you can relax in knowing your pet is well taken care of. I’ve recently bought a home that I will be renovating myself, and so I’m very available and my time is totally flexible. I will work my projects around your needs. I am happy to have pets stay with me, and at any point my renovation work can’t be isolated safely, away from your pet, I will advise. I’m also very happy to stay in your home.

About: I have always had pets in my home (mostly cats and dogs). I dog walk for a variety of my friends and family and have experience dog walking different breeds. I also cat sit and many have been cats that are rescued. I am excited to become and dog walker and pet sitter when required! I have recently went self employed and have so much time to dog walk and cat/dog sit when required. I prefer being self employed meaning i can do this when I want to and which best suits the owner. I am such an animal lover and want to spend time caring/ looking after animals as I see this as more of a hobby compared to a job because I love it so much. I’ve walked dogs small and large and have gained experience feeding, walking and bathing dogs.

About: After 10 years in retail and most recently working in the transport industry, I'm taking the plunge into the world of all things dog where wagging tails, muddy paws and happy adventures are the whole point of the day! Having left school with the mission of being the next female David Attenborough (clearly not achieved😅!) I've followed my heart and looking to build a future around something I truly love 🐾 Whether it's walks, company, a little extra care or just someone who understands their quirks, Dottie about Dogs will meet their every need. I am fully insured, canine first-aid trained and proudly covering Ayr and the surrounding areas. Even though I am still working in my current job, I'm building this little dream step by step, and I am so excited to meet the wonderful pups (and people!) who will be part of the journey 🥰 Thank you for all your support, Emily 🐶🐾🐕🦴 With pet care I will always work around your needs and busy lives! Where I can offer services I will always make sure this is the best for you and your pet. I look to offer and home from home environment, aiming to create a calm and caring environment for your pet! I will adapt this to each service be it walks, drop in or boarding - what you expect I will always provide and a little bit more 🥰

Taya was absolutely fantastic and really helped me out with poppy. At extremely last minute when I was let down by a friend going away, I was in panic mode as poppy was suffering with a really bad painful ear infection and really needed medication over the period I was away. Taya got back to me really quickly and nothing at all was a problem for her. I was really happy that she was able to meet poppy before I went away and Taya definately went above and beyond doing extra when she didn't need to. I felt so happy and comfortable knowing that I could go away and Taya was confident giving poppy her oral medication and ear drops. The update and photos of poppy looking extremely happy was excellent. Such a great experience and I would highly recommend Taya for anyone's pet going away and would definately use Taya in the future, thank you so much for everything poppy had a great time!

About: Growing up I have always been surrounded with dogs and other animals and have absolutely loved taking care of them . Unfortunately now due to my job as Cabin crew I’m unable to have a dog of my own full time as it’s not fair to a dog to be out the country as much as I am. That is why I would really love to help take care your pets in my free time from work which is very flexible month to month ! Whether that be dog walking or house sitting I can’t fit in with the best needs of you and your fluffy loved ones. With my schedule at work I have a lot of free days through the month . And I will update my calendar on here regularly so that you are always aware of my availability. I’m more than happy to fit around your dogs needs and wants with regards to outside walks and house sits which we can discuss when booking.

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I’ve managed a cattery, looked after my own beloved dogs and cats, and regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's cuddles, playtime, or medication support, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and genuine care. I'm currently off university for the summer, so I'm available most days and times unless I'm on placement. During term time, I'm free most evenings and weekends, except for Wednesdays and Fridays. I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet's needs, whether in my home or the owner's. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping to their routine to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

Tring had a fab time with Emily and her lovely dog Ted despite it being a wet and windy couple of days. When I got back from my long days away I found a happy and contentedly tired dog who, if he missed me at all, had slept through any seperation anxiety.

About: Dogs are a huge part of my life! I’ve grew up around all kinds of dogs, myself and my family have owned multiple dogs which I took a large role in training, walking, playing with and best of all being rewarded with unbeatable pup cuddles! I’ve pet sat or checked in on family/friends dogs while they’ve been out of the house for extended periods of time, allowing them peace of mind knowing their dog was looked after. This gave the dogs an opportunity to not be left alone, go on walks that tire both their bodies and mind (all that energy from sitting in the house needs to be released!) fill up food or water bowls, sneak a little treat when allowed and overall just be a friendly face for the dogs to know they aren’t alone! My love for all animals, along with the dependability owners can have on me, is the main reason why your fur baby would be in the safest hands and enjoy their time spent with myself all while you know your pet is being well looked after. I’m currently a full time student which leaves me loads of spare time to spend with your fur babies! I’m available 3 days during the week and 1 at weekends so flexibility to work around your schedules is available. I love keeping active and walking anyway so having some company on my daily walks, while getting to enjoy time with cute pups (because let’s face it, they’re always gonna be our pups!) sounds like a perfect opportunity. Caring for a pet in your home would look similar to creating both physically and mentally stimulating activities. Activities could be tricky training, scent work (treat hiding), puzzle feeders or even switching up the walking routes for your pets to explore new scents and environments! There will be plenty of time factored in for your pets zoomie, we all know they can’t be controlled! and much desired playtime. Your pet won’t feel alone or bored during the time you’re out of the house. Your peace of mind and their safety is number one priority always :)

About: I am a 30 year old woman with a 4 year old Siberian husky and a 2 year old tabby cat. I am an animal lover and like being outside come rain or shine so be assured your pets will have the best walks or cuddles asked for. I have been brought up around animals my entire life with both sisters having 2 dogs each and my parents having a family dog whilst growing up. I do work full time as a teacher but I have various holidays throughout the year where I am able to walk or have your animal overnight if you are away. Walking your dog or cuddling your cat is at the highest priority. I am very trust worthy when entering your home. I will send details of my visit and pictures of your pet being looked after and attended to.

I would highly recommend Carys as she dropped in on my puppy and older cat to let them out and play with the puppy, providing me with good updates, photos and peace of mind that they were in good hands while I was out for the day! They both had a great time! I would definitely book Carys again next time!!
