Having raised and loved many pets from young to old, I am confident that I can take the very best care of all your pets needs, at any time of the day or night, and at short notice. Walking, boarding, checking or sitting, I’m available so that you can relax in knowing your pet is well taken care of. I’ve recently bought a home that I will be renovating myself, and so I’m very available and my time is totally flexible. I will work my projects around your needs. I am happy to have pets stay with me, and at any point my renovation work can’t be isolated safely, away from your pet, I will advise. I’m also very happy to stay in your home.

I’ve had pets in my home my entire life - both dogs and cats! Even in my childhood I loved to care and look after any animal I laid eyes on. I currently have two energetic, active and affectionate cocker spaniels - brother and sister, as well as two cats, both with very different personalities. My Bodie and Bambi (dogs) and Kaito and Eevee (cats) are truly my world. I don’t think there’s ever been a point in my life where I didn’t have a pet! They brighten up a home and I adore to watch them grow and enjoy life. I also have experience in taking care of kittens and puppies, so if your baby is very young, I’m willing to taken them on and make sure they’re carefully looked after! I am starting college to study childcare and have worked with children as a Nursery Apprentice previously - which is a role I’m very passionate in as I also love taking care of children. My experience often overlaps with these two practices as animals and children both require a lot of careful care and nurturing. I’d love to take care of your babies for however long need be, and rest assured they will be in safe, capable hands. I am currently only in college for 3 days of the week - and these days are highly flexible as they start and finish early, which means I will have plenty of time to drop in and pay your babies a visit! Before I take care of your cats/dogs, it is essential that I meet them and visit your home prior, as this will give me insight on their environment, tell me their preferences, and allow them to become comfortable with me in advance. I also will take note of any information you provide on their specific dietary needs, medication usage or other special requirements. I will always follow your specific care instructions for each cat or dog. I am also very experienced in dealing efficiently with cheeky or mischievous pets, as my Kaito who is an indoor cat frequently tries to work his way around windows and doors. I will always check to make sure your home is secure before leaving and when I first arrive to ensure the safety of your pets and prevent them from wandering off. I am also fine to take care of other basic tasks like taking bins out, taking in parcels or letters etc. Just let me know!

About: My name is Jessica, I’m 25 years old and currently work in a genomics laboratory😊 I am the biggest animal lover EVER & have always grown up around animals so am comfortable with furbabies and their different personalities! I have 3 cats and 2 dogs of my own, Tilly Nacho and Gizmo🐱 alongside Bella and Molly🐶 Looking to earn a little extra money by helping out in looking after any pets that may require my services😍 I am a patient care giver & would take the time to get to know your pets so we are both comfortable 😌 I have plenty of evening and early morning availability, can also pop in and out over weekends when I’m free if needed. Love spending as much of my free time with animals as possible so this works out great for me! I’ll always ensure windows/doors are secured if your cats are indoor only. I know some cats are a little adventurous at the best of times so as much info about your kitty’s would be great to better my understanding of how to care for them. About: I have always had pets in my home (mostly cats and dogs). I dog walk for a variety of my friends and family and have experience dog walking different breeds. I also cat sit and many have been cats that are rescued. I am excited to become and dog walker and pet sitter when required! I have recently went self employed and have so much time to dog walk and cat/dog sit when required. I prefer being self employed meaning i can do this when I want to and which best suits the owner. I am such an animal lover and want to spend time caring/ looking after animals as I see this as more of a hobby compared to a job because I love it so much. I’ve walked dogs small and large and have gained experience feeding, walking and bathing dogs.

“Taya was absolutely fantastic and really helped me out with poppy. At extremely last minute when I was let down by a friend going away, I was in panic mode as poppy was suffering with a really bad painful ear infection and really needed medication over the period I was away. Taya got back to me really quickly and nothing at all was a problem for her. I was really happy that she was able to meet poppy before I went away and Taya definately went above and beyond doing extra when she didn't need to. I felt so happy and comfortable knowing that I could go away and Taya was confident giving poppy her oral medication and ear drops. The update and photos of poppy looking extremely happy was excellent. Such a great experience and I would highly recommend Taya for anyone's pet going away and would definately use Taya in the future, thank you so much for everything poppy had a great time!”

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I’ve managed a cattery, looked after my own beloved dogs and cats, and regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's cuddles, playtime, or medication support, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and genuine care. I've been working part-time in a dog daycare for 4+ years, and can attend up to 10 dogs at a time by myself. I am reliable and trustworthy. I keep things calm and familiar, with plenty of care, attention, and the kind of company your cat actually enjoys. I have my own cat Oreo, he’s a cheeky well loved boy who loves to play and get up to nonsense. I work 2 shifts per week so have plenty of flexibility around your pet, I can come morning and night-time on work days and anytime during my days off. I care for pets in their own home, keeping to their usual routine so they feel safe and comfortable. Visits include feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, playtime or calm company, and lots of care and attention. I always follow your instructions and send regular updates, so you know your cat is happy while you’re away.

About: I am a 30 year old woman with a 4 year old Siberian husky and a 2 year old tabby cat. I am an animal lover and like being outside come rain or shine so be assured your pets will have the best walks or cuddles asked for. I have been brought up around animals my entire life with both sisters having 2 dogs each and my parents having a family dog whilst growing up. I do work full time as a teacher but I have various holidays throughout the year where I am able to walk or have your animal overnight if you are away. Walking your dog or cuddling your cat is at the highest priority. I am very trust worthy when entering your home. About: I love all dogs - big and small! I grew up with dogs - a German short haired pointer and an Italian Spinone, as well as lots of other lovely dogs in my extended family too. I now have a three year old cocker spaniel called Juno. She is well trained and very sociable with all dogs and she loves to have other dogs to stay! I’m happy to work on any training needs your dog has while staying with me. I work from home 2 or 3 days a week. I tend to take Juno for one longer (1+ hours) walk per day as well as a couple of short trips to the park. I can adjust this depending on your dog - longer/more adventurous for energetic dogs and shorter/more gentle walks for older or slower dogs. We love to go down to Portobello, round Arthur’s Seat and up to Blackford Hill. I live on my own and have a 2 year old cocker spaniel. She is very friendly and gets on with all dogs - but also knows when to leave dogs that don’t want to play with her! I will only ever take one dog at a time so it will only ever be the two dogs together. I have a secure shared garden with grass lawn and surrounding stone wall. In the house, your dog can make itself at home. I have dog beds in both rooms and they are also welcome to be on the sofa/armchairs. I’ve got lots of dog toys and chews. My flat is on the third floor so may not be suitable for older dogs with mobility/joint issues.
