Reliable Dog-Sitting - Your Pup’s New Friend!
Whether it was my family’s dog or my friends’ I’ve helped care for dogs from a very young age. I’m particularly used to larger dog breeds and have experience with German Boxers, Labs and Akitas. As I work full time remote, I have the unique possibility to make sure your dog gets as much attention as possible throughout the day including plenty of toilet breaks. Most recently, I lived with and cared for a 9-year-old Akita mix named Che. He’s energetic and a bit anxious, so I’ve learned how to manage his stress on walks, support his training, and make sure he gets plenty of exercise.

We were very lucky to have found Ioana. She is a lovely, caring person and was amazing with Willow whilst we were away for a week. Communication before and during boarding was excellent and very prompt. We got regular updates several times a day, which were very reassuring. She was very attentive and kind, and it was clear that Willow was happy during her stay with Ioana. We would highly recommend Ioana as a sitter and would definitely book again.
This is the second time I have left max with Ioana and he just loves her and makes himself at home. Ioana gives daily updates pictures and videos. I can highly recommend her ❤️
Ioana is so caring and affectionate towards dogs- she made my girl Luna feel very loved and spoilt all day when I was away. Would absolutely recommend Ioana and will be using her services again.
Ioana was great with my two dogs! She was so patient with Nova, who initially decided she was just going to sit on the sofa and not go out. Ioana didn’t want to rush Nova, but she quickly came around and had a great walk with Ioana. Would highly recommend Ioana, especially for anxious dogs.

5/5 stars – Ioana was an absolute gem! We left our blue Staffy, Max, with Ioana and couldn’t have asked for better care. She sent daily photos and thoughtful updates, which really put our minds at ease—especially when Max was a little sad and out of sorts on the first day. She kept us fully in the loop and clearly gave him tons of love and attention. By the end of the stay, Max was having the best time and came home happy and relaxed. Highly recommend Ioana to anyone looking for a caring, communicative dog sitter. Thank you so much, Ioana—Max adored his holiday with you! 🐶❤️

Schedule
I’m a very active person and enjoy long morning walks, so any high energy dog breeds will naturally fit with my usual routine. My flexibility, does mean i can easily adapt to the needs of your dog. I like sticking to a routine they know as it help them settle in very quickly.

I live in a sunny one-bedroom flat in Thornwood with an open-plan lounge that includes the kitchen, dining, and living area. There’s a comfy sofa for dogs of any size to relax on, and a large bay window where many pups love to sit and watch the world go by. I live on the 3rd floor behind Cross park.
A typical day
I live very close to a few parks, which I’m sure your pup will love! I usually take dogs around Victoria park for long morning walks and alternate between Naseby and Cross park for lunch time and evening walks. I will often have folk over for dinner or go on long coffee walks around the west end with friends. I’m sure your pup will enjoy the extra attention!
