PhD researcher and dog lover
I am a PhD candidate working from home in the West End. I like to get attuned to every dog's sense of time and needs. My flat is very spacious and I live alone. I work from home so your dog will not be left alone ever. I have experience with senior, disabled, anxious, and sensitive dogs from taking care of my dog Ruby. She lived to be 17 years old even with disabilities. I have experience taking care of larger high energy dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, as well as cats, rabbits, and chickens. I understand mental stimulation is so important for dogs. I am a big fan of fun walks and live minutes away from the Kelvin River Walkway, which leads to both Kelvingrove Park and the Botanic Gardens.

Percy stayed with Soojin for a night as his stay was cut short due to some unforeseen separation anxiety issues. Soojin was incredibly responsible and contacted me immediately about the situation. I really appreciate how she handled everything and prioritized both her safety and Percy health/anxiety.
So happy that Soojin was taking care of the two girls. We got photos and comments everyday which helps a great deal. Upon our return we could see the girls were relaxed and happy, so obviously been well cared for. Thank you Soojin!! 🙏😁
Soojin followed all the instructions for Scout about her litter and what food to put out and where etc. Thanks very much for your diligence Soojin. Hopefully next time I can get some pics in the up dates too. Thank you 😊
Our little dog Heidi had a great time with Soojin who she stayed with for 12 nights. Soojin is warm and friendly and from the photos she regularly sent us we could see Heidi was happy and going lovely walks. We would definitely ask Soojin to look after her again.
Soojin took wonderful care of our senior dog. He settled right in and was very happy to spend time with her in her flat.
Maisie has a lovely time with Soojin. She greets her very enthusiastically and settles down really quickly. You would never know that she has separation anxiety! I recommend Soojin wholeheartedly and will always come back and hope she is available!

I work remotely so I can be with your dog the whole time. I can discuss with you what kind of environments your dog is comfortable in and excited by.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a pet safe home on the first floor. I can carry your dog if they struggle with stairs. If I am at your home, I will make sure there are no disruptions to your dog's daily routines and comforts.
A typical day
I am a fan of games for mental stimulation, and truly love seeing dogs get excited about smells. I like a mix of outdoor exercise at parks as well as cuddling time resting together. We can discuss what level of socialisation your dog prefers.
