Remote worker missing my family dog
I’ve had dogs my entire life. We got my first pet, Pippin when I was just a baby- she lived until I was 17! Then at 18 we got another pup, Biscuit- who is now 11 and still living in the family home in Ireland. I'm not yet in a position to have my own pup due to my regular travel to and from Ireland, however I love dogs and the company they provide- especially as I work fully remote and can be alone a lot. In the past I've regularly been a pet sitter for family and friends- not just dogs, cats and even a rabbit too! I have been on Rover for a while now and have welcomed over 20 dogs into my small flat! From a set of lively Spaniel brothers, an elderly Dachshund with mobility issues, to intelligent and loving Labradors and nervous Doodles- I've had them all and I'm happy to keep meeting more and more :)

Ratings and reviews
Holly is a fantastic sitter and our little dog felt immediately comfortable with her and Emmet during the meet and greet in the park, and in their home. Holly was very understanding and accommodating to our dog’s toilet and mobility needs as an older gentleman. He was visibly happy and comfortable each day when we came to collect him. The fact that he ate twice each day while there says everything about how happy he was to be with them! Their home was very clean, tidy and comfortable and Madog settled in straight away. Holly maintained communication with us, sending us updates and replying quickly. Holly was very understanding and flexible towards our changing drop off and collection times as we were visiting Glasgow. There was always parking available on the street which made things very easy. Holly and Emmet are two of the loveliest people you will meet. We miss them already! I have no hesitation in giving them a five star review.

When we met Holly for a meet and greet walk she asked all the right questions I would expect of someone taking on a new dog. This was very reassuring. Holly kept us fully updated throughout the stay along with photos showing Keeva having a ball. I would definitely use Holly again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable dog boarder.
Holly has been fab she looked after Bella & Jax while we were on holiday! Plenty of updates to put our mind at ease and showed us how well they settled in! Communication was great and we are happy Bella & Jax had a fab time .. will be back to see you again soon Holly … Bella & Jax 💙

I so gratefull to Holly for an absolute wonderful job caring for Luna, I had complete peace of mind and she kept me updated with photos and informing me how Luna is doing, she made the whole experience easy and proffessional I would have no hesitation using her service again or recommending her to others. 10/10

Holly sent regular updates and Sammy seemed to settle in so quickly! He’s been so relaxed and I’m sure he had such a lovely time- thank you so much!

Holly looked after my dachshund Buddy for 2 nights while I was away and he had the best time! She was very good at communicating with me and sending me pictures of Buddy. I would highly recommend Holly with watching your dog, they will be in safe hands! X

Schedule
I work from home full time, so I’m always at home Monday-Friday. My work is very flexible and I’m often out walking at lunch time and in the evenings. I do live in a small flat however I have a balcony and our flats have a private enclosed garden area for toilet duties. I live with my partner, no children/ flat mates/ family members so no worries there. When boarding a dog, I usually go for a longer morning walk, a shorter trip to the meadow during my lunch break, and another longer walk in the evening when I’ve finished work, and one final toilet trip before bed. I am very happy to adjust this routine to accommodate your dogs needs, whether that’s shorter walk, more toilet breaks and so on!

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
As mentioned, I do live in a relatively small flat. I am very happy to have dogs on furniture or for you to provide their bed/ any items needed. If you don't like your pets on furniture do let me know so I know not to create any bad habits!
A typical day
Living near the Kelvin walkway and multiple green areas means constant walks and adventures for your pup! As I work from home full time, I enjoy breaks away from the desk to play When dogs are boarding, I like to take them on a morning walk, to the park during lunch, and a longer evening walk, before a final trip to the garden before bed time. This is of course fully dependant on the dog itself, and I would adjust walk times to suit mobility issues, or increase garden visits if toilet breaks are needed more frequently. Please do let me know what is suitable for your pooch :)
