“Michele was just wonderful with our two boys. From the start to the finish I had full confidence in her professionalism and dedication to the well-being of dogs and that her care would be excellent. She puts real thought into every aspect of boarding pets. Also, her warmth and the regular pictures and status updates confirmed that our pups were not only in good care, but also loved! Highly recommend.”

“Babsie always has the best time Lenka and her lovely family. She always comes home so happy and content. Lenka always sends us pictures and videos of Babsie stay so we never have to worry about her. Repeat customer for the foreseeable. Best sitter we’ve ever had!!!”

“First time we have left Buster and he was fine. Kirsten sent regular photos and updates which was so nice. She also collected and dropped him off. Such a lovely person would definitely use again. Highly recommend”

“Absolutely thrilled how well the first sleepover went. It’s took me a long time to finally trust someone to look after my two wee precious furries and I can honestly say, Craig was brilliant. Finally we found their sitter. They’re usually so excited to see me but they were more interested in Craig lol but that actually makes me feel so much better because I’ve never seen them like that. Couldn’t have gone any better and already booked for next month woohoo”

“I left my dog, Pebbles, with Jessica for 5 days and, in all honesty, I have to say that, the care and attention she received, was second to none! I can happily say that, if you are looking for a responsible, caring, trustworthy dog sitter, you won’t find anyone better. I highly recommend Jessica, and, would have no second thoughts about leaving my dog with her again. I received texts, photos and videos while Pebbles stayed with her and, I got her back, in the same condition as I left her, as opposed to dirty and smelling of wee, as she did when I left her in kennels (the one and only time) Jessica is a consummate professional and, I will definitely use her again if, I need to go away.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for the past ten years. I have a 10 year old Beagle and a 9 year old Cavachon. Any dogs who come to stay must get on well with my dogs and my two primary school aged children. I’m off work Friday to Monday so I’m in an ideal position to dog sit for weekend breaks but I am more than willing to look after your dog during the week too as long as they can be left for a few hours. I will do my best to follow your pets normal routine and provide a fun, safe space for them to stay. I work part time so I have plenty of time for dog walking and company. I live in an area surrounded by fields and fun places to walk. I have a fully enclosed garden. My dogs are allowed on the furniture so the more the merrier, however, I will always follow your rules. I want to create an environment that you can enjoy a break away knowing your dog is also enjoying a holiday. Both my dogs are on tablets daily so I have experience in administering those. I’ve had my dogs since puppies so I have experience from puppy to seniors.
“Niamh and her family were fantastic while looking after Feile. I had received regular updates and photos throughout Feiles stay. Niamh was very accommodating and extremely friendly. I knew Feile was in great hands. Will definitely book with Niamh again if in the area. Thank you!”

“Hana was recovering from acute stomach inflammation and needed to take special meals and medication when she was sent in to Pam's. Pam was incredibly reliable and responsible in making special meals for Hana and feeding all kinds of tablets. She sent me photos everyday and Hana always looked very happy with her friends. Can't be more satisfactory and will definitely bring Hana in again.”

“Nicola and Kayleigh were both brilliant, so friendly and caring and obviously love dogs as well as being really experienced. This was our 7 month old sprocker Millies first night away and she had a ball! It was lovely to get all the updates and pics and hear about her adventures. We would definitely reccommend them and Millie will be back! Thank you”

“Leigha (along with her husband Jacob, daughter Rosie, and their lovely pack of hounds) took incredible care of my two Kelpies, Cúci (7 years) and Ruadh (10 months), during a 48-hour stay this week. From the moment we arrived, it was clear they were in a calm, experienced, and dog-loving home. Leigha kept me updated with thoughtful messages, videos and photos, which really reassured me, especially since Ruadh is still a pup and full of energy. Both dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for - the younger one especially seemed to benefit from the social time with their dogs. They even shared some super helpful tips on behaviours they’d noticed in my rescue puppy, which I’ve already started putting into practice. Their setup - both the house and garden - is exceptional, offering plenty of space, safety, stimulation, and comfort. I only wish I lived nearby so I could use them every time I go away! It’s obvious this is a family who genuinely love animals and know how to manage different personalities and needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again - thank you so much, Leigha and family!”

“Bear loved his stay with Zena. We had the chance to meet before his stay and Zena sent regular photos of Bear enjoying himself out walking/at the beach/cooling off in a paddling pool/resting on his bed in her house. Zena really gave me the confidence that Bear was in good hands so we could relax and enjoy our holidays. I would definitely use her again.”

“Fay & Ian looked after our nervous ex-feral cat for one week while we were away. He is very afraid of people so we were quite hesitant to leave him with strangers but their communication both during the booking process and the meet and greet was excellent and they really set our minds at ease. They treated our home with care and really understood the importance of respecting our cat's boundaries and letting him come to them on his own terms. They sent daily photo updates and it was really touching to watch his confidence slowly grow throughout the week. About: I've helped walk people's dogs since I was teenager from neighbours to family friends. I have expernce walking smaller dogs like Bichon Frisé and French bulldogs as well as bigger more high energy dogs like labradors and collies. I am patient and understand dog body language well, I know that every dog is diffrent and will always listen to the owner about what they need. I have experence pet sitting gerbils and currently have two guinea pigs. I am confident handeling small animals and can pet sit smaller animals as well. I am a student in Glasgow I commute in. This means I'm happy to house sit for people outside my area so long as I can get a bus or train into Glasgow from your house. I am in uni Tuesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday morning so cant do drop ins or walks at those times. When looking after animals in the owners home I will make sure to follow all instructions given and do whatever I can to make the animal feel comfortable. I appreciate all animals are diffrent and some may like sticking to a routine and may be nervous when their owner is away while others enjoy the change of routine. I am able to look after animals in my home however I have a pet guinea pig therfore I can't look after your dog if they have a high prey drive. I am happy to do meet ups before hand if youre unsure about this. I know that it is impossible to know everything about animals so I will always take the lead from you and follow any instructions given. It is always best to do things the dog is familiar with so I will use any equitment and/ or traning methods you prefer. I would always prefer to meet you and the animal before booking to discuss things more in person and ensure me and the animal get along.

About: I cared for our beloved Westie, Marley, for 15 wonderful years—he was family, and taught me everything about patience, loyalty, and the quiet language of dogs. Since then, I’ve continued looking after family dogs of all shapes and sizes, from playful pups to gentle seniors. I offer a calm, comforting environment where dogs are treated with the same love and respect I gave Marley. Whether your dog needs extra cuddles, slow walks, or just a peaceful place to rest, I’m here to provide thoughtful, reliable care. My days are centred around care and companionship, so pet sitting fits naturally into my routine. I work from home and run a community hub next to my home, which means I’m always nearby and able to give dogs the attention they deserve—whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or simply being present. I keep a steady schedule with plenty of flexibility, so your pet’s needs can be met with ease and consistency. Safety and trust are at the heart of how I care for pets. In my home, dogs have a calm, secure space to relax, with access to a fully enclosed garden for fresh air and gentle play. I keep routines consistent and always follow the owner's guidance—whether it’s diet, medication, or preferred walking routes. I never leave pets unattended and make sure they feel safe, seen, and soothed. If I’m in your home, I treat it with the same respect I give my own, keeping things tidy and peaceful so your pet stays settled and happy.
“Leigha was fantastic with my Husky Pup. She knew how to handle my dog and sent regular updates throughout the day. About: I have had dogs in my family my full life. Each one has been brought up from a very happy and loving household. I know and understand how hard it can be to balance work life and dog life. I would love to help with getting your dog the exercise they require and would take great care of them to ensure they have the best time. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to ask. Happy to take on new doggies and help walk them inbetween my own work. Any questions about availability please feel free to ask. About: Hi, I’m Tracy – a lifelong animal lover with a heart full of belly rubs, long walks, and muddy paw prints! 🐾 My love for animals started early—my grandparents ran a small independent pet shop, and I started helping out there at just 12 years old. From chinchillas to African Grey parrots, rabbits to hamsters, I learned how to care for all kinds of pets—and I stayed there until I was 19! As you can imagine I’ve grown up with various family pets and have never had a home that didn’t have a pet! For the past 15 years, I’ve been lucky to share my life with two wonderful labradoodles (both large, loving goofballs). We sadly lost them both over the last couple of years, and while we’re not quite ready to adopt again, I miss the joy that comes from spending time with dogs—so here I am, turning my lifelong passion into something I can offer to others. Though I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for animals. I regularly look after friends’ and family members’ dogs—including Italian Spinones, greyhounds, beagles, labradors, and retrievers—and I understand that every pup has their own quirks and needs. Whether it’s a slow stroll for a senior dog or playtime for an excitable pup, I’ll tailor my care to suit them. We currently live with two cats—a chatty Bengal and a sleek little black cat—so I’m happy around all kinds of animals and fully used to fur, noise, and the occasional mischievous streak! After 15 years in hospitality, I’m ready for a new chapter—one filled with wagging tails, fresh air, and the kind of companionship only animals can bring. I’d love to be your dog’s new walking buddy (or cuddle companion) while you’re away. Caring for animals fits naturally into my routine—it’s something I genuinely enjoy and make time for. Right now, I’m available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays, and from 4pm onwards on Wednesdays. From the 13th of August, once my son starts school, I’ll be available Monday to Friday during the day, with evening slots also possible. I’m also happy to discuss weekend care where needed. If you need a last-minute booking, feel free to reach out—I’m more than happy to take on same-day requests if my calendar allows. I know plans can change quickly, and I’ll always do my best to be there when you need someone you can rely on. I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own familiar surroundings, so I prefer to care for them in their home where they feel safe and secure. Staying in their own environment helps reduce stress and allows them to stick to their usual routines—whether that’s mealtimes, walk times, favourite napping spots, or just the comforting smells of home. My approach is calm, gentle, and always led by the pet’s needs. I take the time to get to know each animal’s personality and routine so they feel at ease with me from the start. Whether I’m popping in for a visit or staying a little longer, you can trust that your pet is in safe, reliable, and caring hands.

I have a medium sized, fenced garden, so plenty of space to stretch legs and get fresh air. No shortage of walking areas on my door step

“We had never used this kid of service before and wanted an alternative to a kennel for our 8hr old Westie-Bichon cross. Jenny put us at ease from the very first point of contact. She met us promptly and filled us with confidence at the point of handover. Our pooch settled right in and we could see from the photos from his walks, his sleeps and his belly rubs that he was totally comfortable with Jenny. I would recommend Jenny in a heartbeat…a home from home!”

About: I look after all kinds of breeds, from puppies to senior dogs. I have experience of having my own family dogs growing up and continue to look after friends and family dogs. A meet and greet before boarding is preferred but not mandatory. I do hybrid working so I would need to leave the dog in the house for minimum of two days during the week. Other than that I am flexible. I have a closed garden and to few parks in the neighbourhood for longer walks. My flat is spacious for your dog to make itself at home during its stay.
About: I grew up with dogs and have had multiple dogs throughout my life so feel comfortable taking care of different types of dogs with different personalities and needs, both puppies and older dogs. At the moment I don’t have a dog of my own so I enjoy helping out with others’! I work as a personal assistant, mainly from home, with 1-2 days per week in the office. I therefore have lots of time to look after and walk dogs both during week days and weekends and can cater for longer stays as well. My flat is tidy and pet friendly and has sufficient space for playing with dogs. I have several parks immediately on my doorstep that are great for walks.
“Fantastic doesn’t say enough! My dogs loved Emma from the minute they met her. She kept in touch with messages and photos. Definately a home from home and really hope Emma is free when we need someone again.”

“Lisa took such good care of Murphy, he was totally knackered after his weekend. She was a great communicator, would hope to use her again in the future and recommend her to anyone. Thanks again!”

“It was our first time having our dogs boarded and both our dogs and ourselves found kaitlin to be an amazing and thoughtful dog carer. I can totally recommend Kaitlin to anyone who is looking for a dog boarding. Dogs loved it that much that we have booked again.”

“Chris was amazing with my energetic lab Ollie and was really understanding of his temperament and needs. Chris helped us out with a last minute booking after we were let down by kennels right before our holiday. I received lots of pictures whilst we were away so was reassured that my dog was doing well and could see he was very well exercised. Would not hesitate to use Chris again in the future!”

About: I have taken care and been around cats my whole life, growing up my family always had them in our house. I have always thoroughly enjoyed their company and love getting to know their different personalities. Our childhood cats passed away a couple years ago at the age of 22, since then I really do miss their company so pet sitting has been such a great opportunity for me which I’ve been enjoying a lot! 🐈
“So glad we found Lyndsay, she is so friendly and looked after our dog with real care, he had lots of nice walks and we were kept updated with photos. Will definitely use again 😊”
