If they're quieter I will spend some quiet time sitting so they get used to me as well as providing feeding and litter requirements so they learn to trust me to enter their home and make them feel safe.

A typical day
I spend time playing, talking to them a lot, interacting as much as possible so they quickly get used to me. I match their energy and check them over physically if possible or by sight to make sure they're well. If they like to be brushed we will do that. I will feed them and check they are eating and drinking ok and provide some treats and medication if that is part of their routine and diet. I'll scoop and dispose of waste/litter and clean any food containers ensuring the bins remain fresh smelling. I'll pick up post and packages and leave them someplace safe in the house. I will provide as many hugs and pets as they will allow because there is nothing better than being trusted by a cat and enjoying their company whilst you are away.

I love cats and their different personalities whether they're cardboard box enthusiasts, the prince and princesses, hunters or the strong silent type. I'm happy to meet them all and ensure their wellbeing. I currently have 2 cats who are the absolute lights of my life. I've had cats for decades that lived well into old age. Some with complex medical conditions requiring oral and topical medication and specific diets and environments. I ensure my time with your pet is well spent and enriching for them as well as ensuring the basics like litter tray changing, feeding, watering along with playtime and cuddles if they're that way inclined. I have been cat sitting through Cat In a Flat for a number of years and have throroughly enjoyed it and will spend time sitting with them, playing with them and talking to them whilst your away- I'm happy to give hugs and pets as much as they want. I will also ensure your home is secure, litter changed and bins emptied for your return to your furry family. I'll provide regular updates and photos and keep you up to date so you have as much comfort as you can have that your furries are being loved whilst you are away.

Lee Anne was a great sitter for our 3 cats! We were kept up to date with videos and pictures at each visit. She went over and above when our wanderer didn't show up for a few days with an extra evening visit to check in.
