Hi, I’m Rachel! I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities for over 10 years, and it’s truly more than just a job — it’s what I love to do. From energetic puppies to gentle senior dogs, I provide patient, attentive, and loving care tailored to each dog’s individual needs. I am Canine First Aid & CPR certified and fully licensed by Renfrewshire Council for dog boarding, giving you extra peace of mind that your dog is in safe, qualified, and compliant hands at all times. I use positive reinforcement, gentle handling, and consistency to help every pup feel comfortable, confident, and cared for — just like part of my own family. I share my home with my friendly rescue dog, Frances, who has helped shape my calm, compassionate approach to dog care. She loves having playmates, and your pup will always be closely supervised in a safe, happy environment. I also have a secure fenced garden for safe outdoor play and potty breaks.

Schedule
I currently work part-time as a swimming teacher and lifeguard, which gives me excellent flexibility and allows me to plan my days around the dogs in my care. • Weekdays: Morning walks, drop-in visits, and evening care • Weekends: Home most of the time — perfect for boarding, longer walks, extended playtime, and extra cuddles Whether your dog needs extra exercise, a structured feeding routine, medication support, or simply lots of love and companionship, I’m happy to accommodate their unique routine and preferences. My top priority is always making sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and genuinely happy while you’re away.

I have a fenced back garden and a very friendly rescue dog named Frances who loves to have playmates over. Your pup will always be supervised, and I can easily crate if needed. My goal is to make every dog feel safe and comfortable while spending time away from home.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about fun, exercise, and companionship. I like to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated with games, interactive play, and walks around the neighborhood. We’ll stop to explore new scents, visit the local park, and, if your dog enjoys it, have some cuddle breaks at home. I make sure each pup gets a balance of activity and downtime so they feel happy, comfortable, and relaxed.
