After meeting Donald and Margaret at the meet and greet I knew Instantly that Spud would be well cared for. Spud is quite energetic and can be “full on “ I was delighted when picking him up to see him so settled and Donald and Margaret still smiling . It was obvious that spud had a fantastic stay and they all got along . I would highly recommend Donald for looking after your pet, I can assure you they will be treated as part of their family. I will absolutely be using Donald in the future. Thank you so much

Gigi loved her time staying with Heather and her family and made herself at home. She especially loved spending time with Heathers daughter and enjoyed her cuddles ! It was great having Heathers dog, little Daisy there too for a little companion for Gigi, I am sure she is missing her lots. Thanks again to Heather for looking after her so well and putting our minds at ease whilst we were on our family holiday.

Jennifer looked after our two cocker spaniels overnight. This was her 1st time looking after our girls and she came for a meet and greet a couple of weeks before and learned all about our dogs and their needs. They were treated as part of her family, and walked several times with lots of photos to update us along the way. The dogs seemed very happy and relaxed. I would not hesitate to use Jennifer again or recommend Jennifer to anyone needing dog sitting in the Ayrshire area.

Keira had a wonderful stay with Kwai and family. She was very well looked after and enjoyed having a wee friend, Sally the Bijon Frisé, to play with. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and we received daily updates and photos that were very reassuring. On top of that, the whole family are lovely and really went out their way to make sure Keira's stay would be as good as possible. She's already booked in for a return visit!

About: Hi I’m new to Rover but have over 20 years experience of looking after my own and clients’ dogs. I will treat your dogs just like my own, ensuring they receive unique and appropriate care whilst they are with me. I appreciate all dogs are so different and will go the extra mile to make them feel safe in my home. Having had many dogs into old age, senior dogs are perhaps a speciality of mine. I am unphased by larger breeds as I currently have a Romanian shepherd dog aged 1. She is very friendly and loves the company of other dogs. I live 5 minutes walk from the beach at Greenan Shore and just a 5 minute drive to the two beautiful local parks. The safety of your pets is paramount, I will only walk off lead with your written permission. As I have a 10 year old son, I can only take pets who are completely safe with children. My son also knows not to over pet a dog and respect space having had a very tricky rescue dog of our own in the past for many years. I am fully insured by Cliverton Pet Insurance. I work mainly from home so your pets will not be left unattended for more than 3 hours. If you have specific requests I will discuss these fully with you. I have an enclosed, private fenced garden. There is also plenty of room in the house for your pet to roam around freely. I live in a quiet, safe neighbourhood.

Nicola and Tom went way beyond what we expected from a dog sitter. Our Cavalier was given the five star treatment with plenty of exercise and a welcome home. We were provided with daily updates via WhatsApp while we were away to reassure us that our dog was settling in to his temporary home. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Nicola and Tom and would thoroughly recommend them - they were a pleasure to deal with.

My cat is super cautious and shy but warmed to Rebecca immediately, making me look like a liar - which in this case I’m thrilled about! About: I’ve had vizslas for around 20 years now, as a teenager we had one in the family home and when he sadly passed we fostered several and one long term. When I moved out I got my own vizsla puppy and he’s 3.5 now but still my big baby. Arlo was a very challenging puppy and although he is still high energy he’s a very good boy and loves to sleep inbetween walks. Arlo is not a morning person and would happily sleep until lunchtime most days, he needs 1.5-2 hours walks a day and has severe separation anxiety so is never left alone. He absolutely loves toys especially a ball or frisbee on a walk but he’s happy to share and never takes them off another dog. He loves to chase and be chased by his many doggy friends and has never shown any aggressions what so ever. Any time he’s given a telling off by another dog he takes the telling and doesn’t annoy them. I’ve had plenty of other family/friends dogs in our home or theirs and arlo and I both love it! Arlo sleeps in my bed cuddled in under the covers which is ridiculous but doggy guests will have the choice of a double bed in the other room, the sofa or their beds whatever suits them. Ofcourse they are allowed on the sofas and have full access to Arlo’s toys and garden. I work from home full time and as Arlo has separation anxiety he is never left alone. I work full time from home and my shifts vary slightly from 8-4,10-6 and 6-2. I walk Arlo twice per day for around 2 hours total and let him out to run around the garden as often as he likes. Another buddy for him during boarding would not change much for us just another pup to love. I have an open plan living space with a large turfed garden. I live right next to a great off lead walking spot and know all the local dogs who Arlo is of course friends with. I can accommodate needs as requested and although Arlo has full run of the house I can crate visiting dogs if needed. I will monitor the dogs at all times and send regular update pics and videos. I’m happy to have a free meet and greet/home tour prior to any bookings to ensure the dogs get along and are familiar with each other. Guest dogs will be equipped with an Apple air tag during walks for extra safety precautions.

About: As a 4th-year veterinary medicine student at the University of Glasgow, caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I was a cattery house manager for 2+ years before attending vet school and have looked after my own beloved cats alongside regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. Over the past four years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in various veterinary practices, deepening both my clinical skills and my understanding of what pets truly need to feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Whether it's cuddles, playtime, or medication support, I treat every pet like my own—with patience, compassion, and genuine care. I am currently awaiting my fourth-year exam results, which I expect to receive by the end of June. Please feel free to get in touch regarding availability from September onwards. At present, I am unable to confirm dates definitively, but I will be happy to provide an update once my results are released. 🐾💜

About: I have always had pets in my home (mostly cats and dogs). I dog walk for a variety of my friends and family and have experience dog walking different breeds. I also cat sit and many have been cats that are rescued. I am excited to become and dog walker and pet sitter when required! I have recently went self employed and have so much time to dog walk and cat/dog sit when required. I prefer being self employed meaning i can do this when I want to and which best suits the owner. I am such an animal lover and want to spend time caring/ looking after animals as I see this as more of a hobby compared to a job because I love it so much. I’ve walked dogs small and large and have gained experience feeding, walking and bathing dogs.

About: I grew up with cats and dogs, and have had cats and dogs as an adult, including elderly and those with health issues. I am happy to tailor my care to your pet's routines. I am on unpaid leave from the Civil Service, writing and studying. I am home-based. I don't have any pets living with me at the moment, therefore I can adjust my routines to suit your pet's needs. I live in a bungalow in a quiet street, with countryside out the back. I have a fenced garden. I can walk dogs up to 3 times per day. I can let outdoor cats come and go as they wish.

About: I work for myself so am based at home during the week. I definitely need the walk/company as much as the animals! I have worked in multiple animal/dog/cat sanctuaries taking care of dogs ranging from puppies to old souls. I’ve always had dogs in the house and dog sitting for friends whenever they need me. I work for myself from home Mon - Fri so I need the company/walks just as mischievous as the animals! I set my own work hours so can be flexible to suit what ever needs to happen. I live alone in a spacious flat, we do have stairs to access the house so let me know if your dog is a little achey and needs assistance with stairs. How I look after pet in your home would be a discussion we would have prior so you felt comfortable

About: Hi! My name is Koko. I have lived with dogs since I was born and have kept pets throughout my life, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am. Over the years, I have cared for many types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rodents, amphibians, and reptiles. This experience has helped me understand different animal personalities and how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I have experience with many dog breeds and sizes, from small dogs such as Chihuahuas and Pomeranians to larger breeds including Mastiffs and Pit Bulls. I also have experience caring for puppies and anxious pets. Every dog is unique, and I always respect their routines, personalities, and individual needs. Taking care of dogs brings me happiness and peace, which is one of the main reasons I enjoy being a dog sitter. I provide care with love, patience, and responsibility, and I truly enjoy spending time with animals. My whole family loves animals, and we provide a calm and welcoming environment for every pet. When your pet is with me, they will be treated like part of the family. I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away. As a new sitter, I am offering slightly lower prices while building my reviews. I mostly work from home, which allows me to spend most of my time at home and provide consistent attention and supervision for pets in my care. This flexible schedule means I can easily incorporate walks, feeding times, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I am also generally flexible with check-in and check-out times, helping to accommodate owners’ travel plans while ensuring pets remain comfortable and well cared for. 🐾 Your dog will stay in a safe, calm, and welcoming home environment. We have a secure fenced garden, allowing dogs to enjoy fresh air, supervised outdoor time, and safe play. The home is clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, providing a relaxing space where dogs can feel at ease. Animals have always been part of our household, and my whole family loves animals, so every pet is welcomed with kindness and care. I make sure each dog receives attention, affection, and a comfortable place to rest. I also understand that every dog has different habits and routines, so I do my best to maintain their normal schedule, including feeding times, walks, and rest periods. My goal is to help your dog feel secure, relaxed, and at home while you are away. 🐾

About: I started as a child rescuing strays and have rescued many since, I am a stay at home mother to an eleven year old daughter. We have 2 labs at present our old girl (whisper 14yrs)and her grandaughter(princess 1yr old) I literally dedicate my life to my family and pets, I pet sit regularly for friends and family so thought this would be perfect for me. Especially as we live in a small village and have a large fenced in garden. I walk my dogs every day long walks up the woods or sometimes down the local beach, as my daughters at school all day. Its a non smoking household, and i love pampering my pooches both of which are well socialised and love other dogs. I dont work outwith the home, so most of my time is dedicated to looking after my home, family and my dogs. I have always took rescue dogs. Until recently that is. As whisper was an ex breeding bitch that we took in, in order to give her the later yrs she deserved. But when we realised what an amazing dog she was, aswel as her outstanding pedigree, i decided to buy 1 of her daughters "autumn" pups ( as i know these breeders very well. I bought her in order to start breeding since i am at home all the time now. And since i have a few friends that already breed, i have plenty of people to rely on for advice. But "princess is only a yr old so i dont intend to breed her for another yr anyway. Hence why i decided to try this out. It just feels like the ideal job for me. I have a large fenced in garden. My dog "princess " is a very high energy and sometimes overly friendly especially when she first meets anyone and even more so when meeting other dogs. However she is very clever and well behaved and absolutely loves the company of other dogs. As we always had more than 1 dog aswell as regular dogs who boarded with us. But our 2 older dogs passed away and due to an unfortunate incident with 1 of our regular dogs who was older and had an undiagnosed underlying issue took a turn for the worst while in my care, traumatised me to a point that I actually stopped and am only just getting back to it now. Dont get me wrong we managed to get him to the vet in time and he survived infact the vet said we actually saved his life by not hesitating and rushing him there at 4am but it was extremely hard so that's why I am only just getting back into it. As we really miss having all the dogs around but we're not ready to get ourselves another one yet. Princess is very well socialised andlovesthecompany of other dog's butis unnuetered as we intend on having a litter from her. So can'ttakeun unnueteredmales forobviousreasons, i also have all the necessary crates, leads etc etc in order to care for dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am also learning how to groom dogs and have most of the equipment so love to practice on my clients dogs if they don't mind. I am a stay at home mother to my 13yr yr old daughter who is also an avid dog lover and one day hopes to become a vet. My life is devoted to my family and my dogs and any dogs that board with us are treated and classed as family. I walk my dogs every day, usually at least twice a day and having patio doors that lead straight out into my garden is ideal, as i tend to leave it open for the dogs to come in n out as they please. And no matter what i am doing, i am able to keep an eye on them at all timesandwe also have a 6foot fence all roundthe garden so it's very secure., The village i live in is surrounded by fields and wooded areas so i can allow my dogs to safely run and play off lead too, aswell as being very close to the beach where I often walk my dogs however i never take risks lettimg other people's dogs off lead unless its in a safe and secure place and I have cleared it with the dogs owner, and i do have long extending leads too. So no matter how well your dog is or isnt off lead they will still be able to join in the long leisurely walks and all the fun that entails.

Kwai and his lovely family looked after Bonnie so well. She's an older girl and has kidney problems so needs special care but they made sure she was completely comfortable. She had lovely walks on her doggie sitting afternoon. We were also sent regular happy photos to keep us in touch. Kwai's prices are really fair especially as it was a holiday weekend and short notice. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to have Bonnie booked with them again.

I’ve managed a cattery, looked after my own beloved dogs and cats, and regularly cared for pets belonging to friends and family. 🐾💜 I am currently transitioning into my final year at vet school which is claiming to be very full on leaving little free time however I update my calendar regularly so it’s usually accurate. With this being said I always try my best to fit in walks and drop ins so please do reach out and we can try sort something! I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet's needs. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping to their routine to ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

I currently work part time as an Ice Cream Factory Worker but would enjoy nothing more than my free time to be taken up with lots of cute faces and wagging tails! I have been around animals my full life, once having more than 30 animals in my home including dogs, cats, birds, snakes and fish. This has given me heaps of experience like how to teach a dog simple tricks, walking dogs, bathing, puppy toilet training and how to handle animals properly physically and behaviourally. I enjoy long walks in the countryside which any dog is sure to be thrilled with and your pet will never feel alone with me around. I am a happy, cheerful and caring person who wants to give a little back to the animals that help me so much. At my home, I have a 22 month old girl and a 4 year old cat. Your furry friend must be experienced around young children and/or mild tempered/easy-going. My child will be present for the most party during any dog walking and during daycare. I work part time and I am a full time mum to a 22 month old girl. I have time on my days off to care for your pets or walk your pets, my child will be present for the most part during these stays/visits. I have a fenced garden and stair gates in the home. I’ve walked dogs small and large and have gained experience feeding, walking and bathing dogs.

Emma is an angel! She has taken my 2 furbabies for a few walks now and they are already firm friends, as I have a broken ankle she has gone above and beyond making sure they get their exercise, happy dogs and tired every time they come home!

About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, from family pets to working farm dogs and caring for dogs in a dog day care. With a canine first aid certificate and hands-on experience, I provide safe, loving, and expert care that goes above and beyond. I work a 4 on 4 off rota and during my days off, your pups have all my attention! Whether it’s an adventure to the beach or a night in watching movies, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time. My house has a large enclosed front and back garden with a fox red crazy lab boy to keep your dog entertained. In your own home, I will respect all wishes and play where your pup is allowed to play!

This was Ollie’s second stay, and once again, she was absolutely fantastic! It’s such a relief knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. She kept us updated with messages and photos, and it was clear Ollie was happy, relaxed, and enjoying himself just as much as the first time. He settled in so well, which really shows how comfortable he feels with her. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will definitely continue booking with her in the future!

We left our pups with David and Hazel for two days and they were fantastic with them, giving us constant updates and lots of photos. As other people have said, it’s a big thing to trust someone with your dogs and David and Hazel definitely put our minds at ease. They are very professional and it is instantly clear that they take exceptional care of any and all dogs. Our dogs had a great time on their short stay and were treated like family! I would highly recommend David and Hazel to anyone looking for dog care and dog sitting, they were absolutely first class.

Anna was very friendly, competent, and cared well for our golden retriever. She knows how to be the leader of the pack, as our dog is happy to take the lead, if he's not put in his position! I will use her services again. She communicated by text very efficiently, and sent us regular updates of our wee dog. I would recommend you use her services!

Wow! Could not be more grateful impressed or recommend more highly! Kim and her husband Ali took the very best care of my nervous pup and treated her to so much love attention and adventures. They took her to a specialist dog park and were playing and chasing with her going above and beyond! I made the booking with a few hours notice for an overnight stay and Kim was so kind and gracious about every step, very understanding and sent loads of updates. Roxy was spoilt with cuddles affection and attention and had the best sleepover party ever - thank you both I feel so lucky to have found you!
