Absolute dog-lover, etologyst in next life, 100%!
Dog-owner as child - teen (a puli!!), have missed this for decades. In the last year have helped out friends with dog-care several times, also in out home, for more days. I enjoy the emotional intelligence of dogs and would love more temp-experience before getting our own dog.

Judit and her family were super nice with Grut. Very attentive and sent a ton of photos of videos, which we appreciated a lot! Grut was even able to go to the beach, and was taken on a lot of walks. He seemed very happy in all the pictures, we will be definitely bring him again :)
If I could give 10 stars I would! Judit and her family are so lovely and took such great care of Púca! They went above and beyond in so many ways - couldn’t be happier and we will be booking them again next time we need!
Judit and her family were amazing with Dolly - my dog is lovely, but gets anxious easily. They knew exactly how to calm her down, and were in touch with clear communications to let me know how she was getting on and the steps they were taking to relax her and get her comfortable. These steps worked and Dolly was able to relax and enjoy her stay, which was a big relief. It takes real skill to be able to read and adjust to the behaviour of a dog you do not know, but they handled it brilliantly. I was really impressed by this. The environment feels safe, calm and very structured - Dolly couldn't have asked for a better sitter.
Absolutely delighted with Judit and I could not have asked for a better setup for Beanie. They kept me updated, made sure to take time to know her and her preferences and it really showed. She is not a dog that loves every human immediately so if she liked them in a short time then I know it was great! I would be delighted if I could book Judit and her family again, and I know Beanie would be too

Schedule
I am working three days from home, with a flexible schedule, so this would be no issue. Even on office days my husband is at home, so if we have company, they would not be left on their own. I can do several daily walks.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced back garden, our home has been tested to be dog-friendly — though there are internal stairs, they have not proven problematic so far. We are a family of four (husband + a 14-year-old boy + 11-year-old daughter, both animal-lovers.
A typical day
I will play with them in-house whenever needed, take for walk to explore in the neighbouring parks (Meadows, Confutius Garden) and hills (Arthur’s Seat, Blackford Hill). They will have lots attention when needed and quiet time, too, after a big run.
