Pets do need time to build trust with strangers. Usually I will take some time to just stay with them, waiting them to explore who this human is (sniffing , etc) When they feel safe, I will give them some treats they like and start play with them.

Hi, I am Connie who has been taking care of my tuxedo cat Gizmo since 2019. I moved to edinburgh in 2024 and started to look after my second cat, a long-haired tabby girl with my partner. I am a big cat lover and very delighted to take care of your cats while you are out for work or traveling. will feed and cuddle your cats, give them treats. If they are playful, I will bring some toys with me. If they are quiet and shy type, I will just stay with them peacefully (as I am a quiet person, too!) and maybe show them some Youtube Videos for cats. You can definitely trust me!

Connie took great care of our wee guys - she was very communicative, responsive and reliable. It was our first time booking a sitter and any anxieties we might have had were immediately put to rest.
