“Miles had a great stay with Richard and Elyce! He loved playing with Bruce, got lots of exercise and cuddles, and was well taken care of for the 5 days we were away.”

“Ryan was a phenomenal sitter and took exceptional care of my boy Max. He was attentive and kept me updated daily with videos and pictures. Absolutely will be re-booking with him.”

About: Hey there! I'm your pet’s new favorite auntie 💕🐾 I’ve always had a soft spot for animals whether it’s playful puppies, sassy cats, or sweet senior pets who just need some extra TLC. I treat every fur baby like they’re my own, with patience, affection, and a few extra cuddles for good measure. I’m the kind of sitter who talks to your pet like they’re a tiny human and makes sure they feel safe, seen, and a little bit spoiled. I’ve cared for pets of all ages and energy levels, and I’m big on keeping routines, sending sweet updates, and creating a cozy, calm environment while you're away. I treat every fur baby like family, because that’s exactly what they are. 💛🐾 I currently work from home so I’ll be able to attend to the babies while I work :) . I’m off on weekends as well so I’ll have more flexibility but I don’t have any children so I’m spreading my love through animals 🫶🏽.. I have a fleet flexible schedule! I live in a large apartment enough space to have fun here and run around and I live across from the lady scale dog park in my complex for them to enjoy zoomies or sun tanning lol! Plenty of space for fun and activities
“They communicated very well about how the stay was going! They sent pictures, communicated when my cats weren't getting along, very patient with my more nervous cat, and loved on my more out going cat like he was their own.”

“Katie was so friendly and gave us updates and pictures everyday. Willa seemed to enjoy her stay and we could tell she was well cared for and given lots of love. We would love to use Katie again in the future!”

“We had the pleasure of having Sheila watch our dog, Leo, this past weekend, and we couldn’t be more pleased! From the moment we met, Sheila was warm, professional, and attentive to Leo’s needs. She took the time to learn about his routine and made sure he felt comfortable and cared for throughout his stay. Sheila provided us with regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing Leo was in great hands. When we returned, Leo was exhausted and happy, a true testament to the excellent care Sheila provided. We highly recommend Sheila to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Our dog Chance always loves seeing Tolu! Tolu always sends us photo updates and Chance comes back happy and tired😊 This was our second time booking him for dog sitting and won’t be the last. Thank you!”
“Seth and Rachel were great! This was the first time booking with them and they went out of their way to make sure Archie was comfortable. They provided updates and photos the whole time and had great communication. Would definitely book with them again!”

“as usual, Valerie was excellent with our dog, very communicative, and super flexible with pick up when our flight home got cancelled! she (& gunther!) are the best!”

“Amy and her family took great care of our beagle. We've had him there for Day Care and Boarding. Both times, we received a lot of pictures and I could tell our dog was very comfortable there. I recommend Amy as a sitter and will be using her in the future.”

“Great experience working with Brooke. I was able to do a visit with my dog interacting with theirs before boarding. Brooke kept me up to date with pictures during Sapphire's stay. Would board with them again.”

“Lilo seemed to have a great time with Jill during her stay of 5 days. It was our first time using Rover and also the first time being away from Lilo since we got her at 8 weeks. Lilo was about 5 months old at the time of her stay and Jill was very considerate about this when it came to boarding other dogs during that time. Lilo was able to interact with other dogs and Jill’s cats. Jill sent pictures and updates every day and Lilo did very well. We will definitely be rebooking with Jill in the future!”

“This was my first time using Shea and I was very pleased with how my 2 pups were taken care of, she was great with communication and drop off and pick up. Both pups came home happy and healthy and seemed to love hanging out in the backyard. I can definitely recommend Shea for anyone seeking a sitter, and I'll be using again in the future.”

“Our dog Champ had a great stay with Nichole and her family. We received several pictures and an update every day! He came home tired and happy from all of the playtime and attention he got while at Nichole’s house. We look forward to using her again for pet sitting in the future!”

“My labradoodle, Dory, stayed with Heather for one week. I think Dory enjoyed her stay. She had another dog to play with there. Dory chilled out on Heather’s couch in the evenings. Dory got along with Heather’s daughters. All in all, Dory had a week of fun.”

“Karen is very kind. I feel very comfortable leaving my small dog with her. I would definitely use her again. Kallie is a lap dog and I have not left her in over a year and a half because of Covid. Karen let Kallie sit in her lap and gave her the love and attention that she craves.”

“Emily and her husband were amazing with our dog. She invited us over before our trip for Our dogs to meet each other. They became fast friends and had a ball while we were away. Emily sent pictures and updates every day. Our flight was delayed coming home and she was very kind and understanding. We’ve found our trusted pet sitter!”

“Molly's stay went well by all accounts. There was a small crew of dogs there for her to play and interact with. She seemed like she had a good time during her stay. Anne was great to deal with. She responded quickly and I appreciated her flexibility for pickup. I would recommend her for any future dog sitting needs. Thank you.”

Kelsey has become our go-to sitter over the last couple years and I can’t recommend her enough! She is great with our dog Walter, sends daily photos, and is flexible when coordinating drop off/pick up. Truly can’t recommend her enough, Walter always comes home happy and well taken care of!

Mary and her husband took wonderful care of Bunny. They gave her plenty of one on one attention, were very accommodating of her quirks (especially her dislike of thunderstorms), and made sure she got lots of walks around the city. It’s clear they genuinely love dogs and treat them like family. I would happily trust them with Bunny again!

She was so wonderful! My friend that I was on vacation with told her husband that I was getting so many photos of Gally and she was barely getting any of their kids xD I can tell Gally had a great time at Leslie’s house. Thank you so much for watching her for so long!

Karli is amazing! She watched Indy for a long weekend for us when he was injured and she put me such at ease and just took the best care of him. He was basically on vacation getting cuddles and naps and going on little outings. We got lots of pics and Indy is looking forward to hanging out with her again!

Gabe took excellent care of my elderly high-maintenance dog, who is on four different medications. Gabe communicated with me at least once a day with photos and updates. My dog was relaxed and happy when I picked her up, unlike after a kennel stay, when she's frantic upon my return. I would not hesitate to leave my dog with Gabe again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
