About: I love animals, especially dogs. I’ve had my own pets for years and helped care for others dogs any time I’ve been asked. I have a couple of weeks between work and starting school, so I will be staying home with my dog Koko and she would love some friends to hang out with as well! She is great with other dogs and has had plenty of experience meeting and getting along with new dogs. I have a decently sized fenced in backyard that will allow them to run around and play as much as they want throughout the day and plenty of room for them to relax inside when they need a break. I am in between work and school, so I will be home full time to keep your dog entertained in whatever way they need. My dog Koko loves to play with other dogs and we would be able to go for walks as needed as well. My girlfriend is also home during her off time of school and can help when needed as well. We both have a lot of experience for caring for different breeds of dogs. Someone will always be home to keep an eye on your pup! We have a fenced in back yard that has decent shaded areas. Our dog has some separation anxiety, so we are used to staying out and playing, so your dog won’t have any unsupervised time if that is a need/concern.
“Katie was so friendly and gave us updates and pictures everyday. Willa seemed to enjoy her stay and we could tell she was well cared for and given lots of love. We would love to use Katie again in the future!”

“Nicole was excellent with our dog Prime. He is a larger very excitable dog and we always are concerned when finding a new sitter. But, Nicole was able to calm him and take him on walks. The pictures she sent during his stay showed a happy and content dog. We recommend Nicole highly and will definitely book again.”

“Jameelah was an absolute delight to work with. She very clearly loved caring for our dog, Freddie. She sent lots of adorable pictures, took him on walks, and kept in close contact. We will absolutely use her again and appreciate everything she did to watch our little guy while we were gone.”

“Stacy was wonderful with our dog Cali and we could tell when we picked her up, she had had a great time! Stacy was very communicative and sent us daily pictures, which made our time away from Cali a little easier. We are so thankful to Stacy and we would highly recommend her for your fur baby :)”

“Definitely one of the best Rovers helpers I have met. Natalie did an amazing job taking care of Mrs. Mills. I loved the constant communication with recurrent notes and multiple daily pictures. She took care of Mrs. Mills and also cleaned up after her. I’m pretty sure we will be sure to have her come back to take care of Mrs. Mills again.”

“Gigi was amazing! She took such great care of Carrot Cake. I never worried while I was away, and I would recommend her to anyone. I also LOVED getting pictures of my baby from her visits.”

“Caring for our amazing herd of cats is no easy feat, but Elle really rose to the occasion! She is so great with them and took time to see everybody and report back on how they were each doing. I can't express how good it feels to have someone we can really trust to take care of our babies. Elle gave the best updates with lots of pics and made being away from home so much less stressful. You can tell that she genuinely enjoys being with the cats and is just a joy to work with. THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“Lindi was great with our cat Vivian, came to visit before starting the job, and was flexible with adjusting a schedule. We appreciate her and definitely recommend!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Indianapolis
Prices are estimates per day. Pricing may vary based on your search. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and also worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility. That experience helped me become comfortable with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I work from home, which gives me flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and companionship. I love getting outside for walks around downtown Indianapolis and enjoy having a four-legged friend join me. I know every pet has different needs, so I take the time to learn their routine and preferences. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or out on a walk, I prioritize safety and I’ll keep you updated with photos along the way.
“Jackson was very accommodating with drop off and pick up. Also, he is very knowledgeable on the needs of dogs when at daycare such as resting/calm time. As someone that is very particular about the care of my dog, I trust Jackson! Definitely recommend!”

“My experience was great. It was very easy and smooth each day that I brought my puppy over. She seemed happy when she got home and had clearly spent some energy throughout the day! Would recommend. Thanks again!”

About: I've moved! If you've booked with me before, please double check my new address! I've had a lifelong fascination with animals and zoology that led me to learning as much as I could about animals. I've been particularly fond of canines, leading me to become a certified dog behaviorist in 2020. I've had 2 dogs of my own, both mid sized mixed breeds, and helped take care of family and friends pets, dogs as small as chihuahuas and large as rotties. I'm self employed and work from home. I'm very flexible and can adjust to specific feeding or medicine times, and can keep near constant supervision if need be. I feel strongly about pets being treated with kindness and patience. I enjoy cuddling and playing games with them. I'll be happy to adjust to the pets individual needs and owner requests.
“Dayana was an amazing dog sitter! Her communication was excellent, and she made sure to send cute pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind. She provided a safe and comfortable environment, and my puppy came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I would definitely recommend Dayana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter!”

About: Hi, we're Ash and Mike! In our house, dogs are considered part of the family, and yours will be treated like one of our own. We've lived with and loved dogs for many years, so we know what it's like to leave your pup with someone else, and how much it means when they're in good hands. We're comfortable with all kinds of dogs: playful puppies, high-energy dogs, smart pups who need a job to do, anxious dogs who need patience and reassurance, and seniors who need a little extra support. We're also experienced with more involved medical care, including eye drops, insulin injections, oral medications, and help with incontinence. Our schedule is flexible. Ash works from home full-time over the summer and is only out a couple of afternoons a week during the school year, and Mike is home two days a week and is hands-on with the dogs too, so your pup will have steady company throughout the day. We have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and potty breaks, and Ash runs regularly and is happy to take dogs out for exercise when appropriate. We’re equally happy to provide walks, playtime, snuggles, and always have a calm home environment to meet your dog’s needs. One note: with two young kids at home (ages 4 and 6), we can only host dogs who are comfortable around children. Pet care fits naturally into our days. Ash works from home full-time over the summer and is only out a couple of afternoons a week during the school year, so your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. Mike is hands-on with the dogs too. Between us, your pup will have steady company, regular walks, playtime, and a calm house to settle into. Ash runs and walks regularly and loves to bring visiting dogs out with her. We treat every dog like part of the family while they're here. Being away from home can be stressful for a pet, so we focus on a calm, safe, loving environment with lots of attention, affection, and supervision. Between Ash and Mike, there's almost always someone around, so your dog won't be left alone for long. Dogs are welcome to relax with us, get plenty of snuggles, and head outside often for potty breaks and fresh air. We have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor time and play. We pay close attention to each dog's routine, personality, and comfort level, whether they're energetic and playful or happier in a quieter setting. We're glad to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walk routines, and any other care preferences you share. Our goal is for your dog to feel safe, cared for, and as at-home as possible while you're away.

“We’ve booked regularly with Gabe, and Darfee always has such a great time! Gabe sends photos of what Darfee’s been up to all day which is always fun to review. They also regularly go on walks. It’s obvious that Darfee is very comfortable with Gabe, as he always trots in with no hesitation at drop off. Highly recommend Gabe!”

“Omg, Ian loves it here and will be coming for many more to come. Mary had informed me that he had found a favorite quiet spot on the bed and was content there and happy. He loves being with other dogs and in her environment.”
“Kathryn and Garrison were beyond amazing. We were passing through town on a road trip. We stopped in Indianapolis for the museum and they hung out with our dog while we were at the museum. They were incredibly thoughtful and generous and took wonderful care of June.”

About: Since I was ten years old, I've cared for pets. Over the years, as my love for animals grew, I began to walk my neighbors' dogs while their owners were otherwise occupied. I wanted to design a space that the owners and pets would both find comfortable. I trained the dogs by saying "sit" or "treat" when taking them on walks in order to make them accustomed to the words. During these walks, I also gave out a ton of hugs and kisses. I also rescue dogs with disabilities and provide them with therapy, if necessary. I'm a full-time student who has spent some time doing nothing while waiting for other classes to start and finish early. I adore the chance to work on a project that I am enthusiastic about and that makes me happy. I take 1-2 classes a day, five days a week, with a one-hour time limit, finishing early. I live in my school dorm with a very nice room for any kind of animal, where I would meet all of their needs, and a sizable field filled with lush grass that is perfect for playing and enjoying the weather.
“She was great , I need someone to take care of my dog last minute , and she kept me updated on her with pictures and video , canela came back tired and very happy I could tell she had enjoy her stay . Would definitely book again”

About: Walk. Wag. Repeat. 🐾 Hi, I’m Sebastian! Animals have always been the center of my world, and my business, Silly Moose & Co, is named in honor of my late, beloved dog, Layla. Her nickname was "Silly Moose," and she taught me everything about patience, unconditional love, and the joy of a wagging tail. I founded this business to carry on her legacy by treating every pet I meet with that same "Moose-sized" love. 📬 The "Pet's Best Friend" Professional By day, I’m a Letter Carrier, which truly makes me a pet's best friend! I’m out in the community every day, rain or shine, and I’ve mastered the art of making friends with every pup on the block. My career means I am exceptionally reliable, punctual, and used to being active in all types of weather. 🐾 Rescue-Tested Experience When I’m not on my route, I’m dedicated to rescue work. I am a current volunteer at Sketchy Mutts and Underdogs, and I previously spent time with the ASPCA as a shelter walker and dog photographer. These roles have given me invaluable experience with all personality types—from the shyest "underdogs" needing a patient hand to high-energy pups ready for an adventure. 🐈⬛ Tailored Care for Cats While the dogs are out walking, the feline family members aren't forgotten! I offer tailored services specifically for cats. As a "servant" to two cats who rule my own home, I know that every cat is unique—whether they want high-energy laser chasing, gentle brushing, or just some quiet company. I’m happy to handle feedings, litter box maintenance, and plenty of "slow blinks." 🏠 My "Moose" Crew at Home My home is shared with Buttercup, my sweet 5-year-old blue nose Staffordshire Terrier, and my two feline house-rulers. Because I live with a Staffy, I am especially comfortable and experienced with "bully breeds" and larger, powerful dogs. 🤝 The Silly Moose Promise Whether it’s boarding, walking, or house sitting, I know your pets are your family. My background in hospitality and community work means I bring a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication to every booking. Ready to start the cycle? Let’s Walk. Wag. Repeat. I am a Letter Carrier for the United States Post Office, I love animals and will always make time to meet new friends. I am in a transition phase in my career post injury and am trying to be a full time pet friend. At Silly Moose & Co, my care philosophy is built on the cycle of Walk. Wag. Repeat. I believe that a happy pet is one that feels safe, stimulated, and understood. Here is how I ensure your furry family member gets the best experience: 1. Building Trust Through Patience Every pet has a unique "vibe." Drawing from my experience with Sketchy Mutts and Underdogs, I never force a connection. I use "slow blinks" with cats and respectful body language with dogs to let them come to me. Whether they are shy rescues or high-energy "Silly Mooses," I meet them where they are. 2. Structured Walks & Sensory Play As a Letter Carrier, I know the streets like the back of my hand. I don’t just "walk" dogs; I provide structured outings. This includes sniffing breaks for mental stimulation (sensory play) and consistent pacing to ensure they get the physical exercise they need. 3. Meticulous Routine & Safety Pets thrive on consistency. I stick strictly to your feeding, medication, and bathroom schedules. My background in hospitality means I have a sharp eye for detail—I check water bowls, ensure gates are latched, and keep litter boxes "deep-clean" fresh for my feline clients. 4. Communication is Key I know how much you miss them! You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can see the "Wag" in action. I treat your home with the same respect I give my own, ensuring everything is secure and tidy. 5. Specialized Skills From handling "bully breeds" like my Staffy, Buttercup, to administering medications or even bathing a reluctant cat, I have the hands-on experience to handle the unexpected with a calm, steady hand.
“Jameelah was so sweet and communicative. Her pup Yuri played great with my baby. She sent lots of picture and video updates. I would 100% recommend her, and I will be booking again!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for a variety of animals, including large dogs, cats with different personalities and needs, and even rabbits. This has helped me become adaptable, patient, and attentive to the unique care each animal requires. Whether it’s managing the energy of larger dogs, understanding the subtle behaviors of cats, or providing gentle care for smaller animals, I always prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. I believe every pet is an individual, and it’s important to take the time to observe and meet their specific needs. I approach all animals with the same level of care, attention, and respect that I give my own. I am currently taking a month off from work to allow myself some much needed self care time before I transition into pursing a Vet Tech degree. When I inevitably get back into a standard part time job, still allowing myself the time to focus on bettering myself- I will always ensure I have enough time to care and love for animals in my care as if they were my own. As of now, I will be available round the clock for care- as early as 6am and as late as 10pm. For all animals- I will ensure that I follow all instructions left- because we all care for our fur babies in our own ways. But what is non negotiable is ensuring they are safe and content at all times.
“Gigi was very communicative during the week she watched our pups. She took great care of our pups and was flexible when we had a medical emergency with our one dog. We truly appreciated her watching our babies while we were out of the country.”

About: The cats my family had (& still have) when I was growing up at home were all strays. Two from a man experiencing homelessness in Manhattan, one abandoned in a park in the Bronx, a fourth found in Queens, & the most recent addition came with the house my family moved to. I used to do drop in visits for my neighbor, my mom’s friend, who also had adopted a lot of strays; I can remember seven of them in total, most of whom she had the same time! I just have one cat of my own now whom I adopted from the 9 Lives Cat Cafe through Misty Eyes, but I fed a lot of Monon cats daily before I got Pumpkin. I teach at a middle & high school downtown, so not only do I have time in the mid to late afternoons & weekends, but I have summers almost completely free. Just let me know when you need me & I can probably come through! My fiancée & I are very particular about Pumpkin, so we understand that pet owners can have specific expectations. Maybe your cat or dog only likes to play in a specific way, or maybe a bunch of ways & they pick a different one each day & I’ll have to figure it out. Pump’s pretty self sufficient, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t spoil her. We don’t see her drink from her automatic water fountain, but we still clean it & change the filter regularly. & don’t worry, having gone to college & graduate school, I’m very good at following directions, & learning to give directions over the past three years teaching has only made me better at it.

“Deontae has been a godsend! My large breed dog is too big for me to walk safely with my medical restrictions and he was going stir crazy with no way to exercise. He is loving his walks with Deontae now and is much calmer and happier all around.”

“We really appreciated Maya accommodating our last-minute booking! She was responsive, easy to coordinate with, and took great care of our dogs. We'd happily book with Maya again!”

“Ethan was super understanding and flexible with my anxious dog and this anxious owner! He was also very understanding when I accidentally gave my old address. Highly recommend!”

Although usually busy, this summer I am essentially able to customize my schedule. I am in class Tuesdays and Thursday mornings but am free after 9 or 10am. Monday/Wednesday/Friday I can adjust my schedule to your needs! The weekends vary but I am usually fairly free! I can always find a way to make things work. :) I am more than happy to play, snuggle, or give space if that’s what your dog needs. I know that each dog has their own needs and ways that they are cared for and comfortable. Leave me instructions, tips, etc. and I will follow them to a T!

About: Hello! I am a former teacher turned flight attendant. Between trips, I am home day and night for when things come up and you need a hand. I truly enjoy taking care of fur babies during my down time. As a mom to two senior dogs, I make darn sure to treat your pups and your space how I would want mine to be treated, with utmost love and care! I will send picture updates or let you enjoy your time away per request. Behavioral and/or special needs are always accepted here! Message me with any and all questions. I look forward to working with you! I am available full time between jobs, so I can be available as needed to care for your pet in and around your home. My dogs go on three 30+ minute walks daily and I understand how important it is that they are well cared for. I will follow any requests that are needed based on the availability of a fenced-in yard. I can bring leashes if needed. I will not feed or give treats unless specified!
About: My whole life, I’ve taken care of pets whether it’s been my own cats and dogs at home, helping neighbors while they’re out of town, or taking on paid pet-sitting jobs in my community. Each experience has helped me build trust, responsibility, and lasting friendships with both people and their pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. I’m currently an undergraduate student at New York University who greatly misses my golden retriever, Maple, who’s back home in the Midwest. Growing up with dogs has made me patient, responsible, and deeply caring toward animals of all kinds. Taking care of your pet wouldn’t just be a job for me and it would genuinely bring me joy and help fill the space that Maple has left while I’m away at school. I’d love to give your furry friend the same love and attention I give my own! I always make sure I take the time to play and cuddle with the pets I care for. Walking, feeding, and keeping up with bathroom breaks are important, but so is showing affection and attention! I want every pet I watch to feel comfortable, loved, and part of my routine while their owners are away. I’m patient and gentle with shy animals, but also playful and energetic with those who love to run around. I take safety seriously and always making sure doors and leashes are secure, routines are followed, and each pet’s individual needs are respected. Whether it’s a quiet night in or a long walk through the park, I try to make every visit something special for them.
“Khalil is the very best. He has the best work ethic and is always pleasant, reliable, and accessible. He also has great chemistry with animals and seems to truly enjoy working with them.”

About: i have taken care of both cats and dogs throughout the past few years, in and out of my own place. i am experienced in walking, feeding, and playing with them while their owners are away. my favorite part of making sure the owner feels secure and confident that their babies are in good hands is catering to specific needs. getting to know your animal is important to me! i work in an office mon-fri, but i am usually home in the evenings & all day on weekends. i’m also available for short or long-duration overnight stays. my partner, Daniel (a Rover sitter!), usually tags along in my sits as well. we live in an apartment, so for the comfort of your dog (or cat, if they’re a fan of the outdoors), i would be thrilled to make use of the environment that they are already familiar with. if you have a home with a yard, i’m sure getting some exercise in for the day would be no problem.

“Mary was very welcoming and made me feel at ease, knowing Lucy would be well cared for. She sent pictures everyday which was above and beyond! Thanks so much for your caring service!”

“Jackson came through for me at the last minute and watched my dog right before I had to leave for vacation. He provided great communication and really saved our trip. Thanks so much, Jackson!”

“my two dogs and I really enjoyed our meet and greet with Bowen! Bowen has a calm energy about her that my dogs felt very comfortable with. Unfortunately, I had to cancel my overnight care at her home due to family needs, but I did want to leave a review about my two dogs and my interactions with her. They were wonderful and I do plan to use her in the future!”

“Couldn’t ask for a better sitter than Kelsey for our cat. We received daily updates and fun pics and Kelsey also went above and beyond to keep our spoiled cat comfortable with her usual habits 😄. I’m happy to recommend Kelsey to anyone and I hope she will always be available when we need care for Rain.”

“Ryan was a phenomenal sitter and took exceptional care of my boy Max. He was attentive and kept me updated daily with videos and pictures. Absolutely will be re-booking with him.”

“Thank you so much for taking care of our baby boy, we really appreciate the update and communication with you. He has a great time a lot of love for sure and play time, he was a very happy dog when I picked him up. We will definitely come back to you guys 🤍”

“Fiona took very good care of my dog for six days at her home. She has a nice big fenced yard that I’m sure he enjoyed, since his favorite activity is sniffing the yard. The stay went smoothly with no problems. Overall, I would recommend her to anyone else.”

“David was awesome with Bubba! He sent constant videos so I always knew Bubba was happy and in good hands. He even managed to get him to take his medicine when it was being difficult, which I really appreciated. Very flexible with pick up and drop off times and super helpful whenever I needed anything. Would definitely recommend him and will be using him again!”

“Our dog loved staying with Nicole & her family! She was responsive & sent us pictures and updates daily! She made sure that our dog felt like he was part of their family! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe family to watch their family while they are away! I will be using Nicole again in the future!”

“Dayana did an amazing job with our two dogs while we were away for four days. She sent daily updates with videos. Our dogs had a lot of fun playing with her dog too!”

“Rachel & Seth were amazing! They are great at communicating before, during and after the sit. They make sure everything is taken care of and have a great house and yard. Michigan was very happy there. They even sent pictures and updates on what Michigan was doing each day. I highly recommend them. 10/10”

“Ansel and Daisy had a terrific weeks stay at Richard’s home. Richard was fabulous about communicating with us. We enjoyed the daily pictures. Both dogs came home relaxed and tired! A tired dog is a good dog 🐾”
“Taco’s trip started off on the wrong paw when he got out through her garage, but shortly after the neighborhood police tackled him and brought him back safely! He started to get adjusted nicely to his quarantine area ?. I appreciate Jill and her daughter so much for watching over my baby. The only thing is that he lost his favorite toy mouse so I would advise people to not bring any toys they care about (just a heads up). Not mad at all and will be rebooking soon with Jill if I can! Thanks again!”

“Ginger loves when she’s able to stay with her friends! As soon as we turn onto their street, she gets super excited and runs right up to the door. I always know she’s having a great time and is safe when she stays at their house. Couldn’t ask for a better place for her to be!”

“Nichole took such great care of my crazy pup Zira! I know my dog is a handful but from the minute I met her I knew she would be able to take care of Zira and I wouldn’t have any worries! She sent pictures and videos everyday and her family was so kind! Looks like Zira has found her permanent sitter! ❤️”
