“She did an amazing job with my two cats. Made sure all of their stuff was clean and even vacuumed, and swept the floor as well as took out the trash. None of those things I asked for. By far the best pet sitter I’ve hired.”

“Gigi was fabulous!! This was my first time using Rover and she really put my mind at ease. My very shy kitty warmed up to her so fast! You can tell how much she cares for the pets she sees. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Sarah was fabulous, she kept us updated with photos and her report card daily. When we are out of town again, absolutely would hope we could get Sarah to look after our cat! Thanks Sarah!”

“Ellen is always so great with our boys. I messaged her midday on 1/15/25 if she could drop in for 30 min on 1/16/25 since I had to travel last minute for work and my spouse was in Detroit for work and wasn’t landing until 6:45pm. She not only promptly replied but moved a few things around in her schedule to accommodate. We never have to worry when we are away, your fur babies and your home are in great hands. Having had several bad experiences with other sitters from Rover we are very pleased to have found Ellen!”

About: Hi everyone! My name is Maya and I am cat mom to two lovely gals who made me realize you can be a dog and cat person after all. I have experience working with pups at all life stages including senior pups needing medication and/or specific diets. I am currently a graduate student, which means that right now my summers are quite flexible for most days of the week. I love taking local walks, so having a companion (or two) is perfect for me. I am a lover of lists and details! I understand how much our pets mean to us (I am a rover user myself so I am very familiar with this process of finding the right person). I will follow the instructions you leave exactly as you would want it and treat your space with respect.
“Definitely one of the best Rovers helpers I have met. Natalie did an amazing job taking care of Mrs. Mills. I loved the constant communication with recurrent notes and multiple daily pictures. She took care of Mrs. Mills and also cleaned up after her. I’m pretty sure we will be sure to have her come back to take care of Mrs. Mills again.”

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by pets, and my family still jokes that I made friends with every animal in the neighborhood. My grandmother used to come home and find me sharing my ice cream or snacks with whatever furry visitor had followed me inside. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for many friends’ and neighbors’ dogs, from energetic puppies to older, calmer pups who need a gentler touch. I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely love forming bonds with every pet I meet. Whether it’s walks, playtime, snuggles, or keeping up with routines, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable. Taking care of animals isn’t just something I do, it’s something that comes naturally and brings me a lot of joy. I work full‑time, but I’m very flexible with my schedule and love fitting in pet care whenever I can. On weekdays, I’m available after 4:30 PM for drop‑ins, walks, or evening visits. If you contact me ahead of time, I can often be available as early as 2:30 PM to help with your pet’s routine. On weekends, my schedule is completely open. I’m available all day for drop‑ins, longer visits, or extra attention for your pets. I’m always happy to work with your needs and find times that fit your pet’s usual routine. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I live in a spacious loft with plenty of room for pets to relax, explore, and feel at home. While I don’t have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is handled safely through leashed walks and controlled outings. I’m very mindful of my surroundings and make sure every walk is calm, secure, and enjoyable. Inside my home, I have a dedicated room reserved specifically for pets, giving them a cozy and quiet space if they need downtime or a familiar area to settle into. I can easily and comfortably crate pets when needed, making sure they never feel lonely or stressed. I aim to create an environment where every pet feels safe, loved, and looked after just like they would at home
“Maja was so kind and careful with my dog Lily. She provided very detailed communication regarding her visits, and sent pictures. She was wonderful! Would absolutely recommend!”

“Christy was great, Maizy took to her the minute she meet her. Christy was friendly, professional and excellent communication. We would highly recommend her and we will use Christy again in the future.”

“Megan came to our rescue when we were in a bind seeking care for our dog. I was confident in her experience and expertise working with dogs. I would happily seek her help again.”

About: I’ve been taking care of my family’s, friends’, and neighbors’ cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. I am a medical student looking to make some extra money and would love to hang out with some pets! I am in my second year of medical school, so I am busy but have significant flexibility to take care of pets since I can study and watch lectures from home. I am very flexible on weekends when I am in town. I live in an apartment in downtown Indianapolis, so would prefer to do walks and home visits. I could potentially host a cat in my own apartment.
“Ethan took amazing care of my two cats while I was on a 2 week vacation! He updated me after each drop-in and I loved seeing the photos he took. My kitties and I recommend!!”

I can do of frequent of visits as needed! I’m also available in the evenings / early morning other days for the week. I can’t care for pets in my own apartment but am happy to do drop in visits / house sitting / walks in client homes.

“Ryan was great! Super communicative, followed the dog specific instructions for both pups and gave info on how they both were and what they did! I picked him last minute for 2 days of drop ins and would use him again without question!”

Indianapolis cat parents share their Rover experiences
Lauren was fantastic with my cat, Max. She stopped in to check on him while I was away and gave me a great peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about making sure Max was comfortable and well looked after. I appreciated the updates and attention she gave him, and i would absolutely book with her again. Actually,,,i already have. Highly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Patrick always does a great job checking on our cats. I appreciate that he always makes sure they get some much needed attention while we’re away. This past visit, we were grateful that he caught and kept us well-informed of a (fortunately minor) issue with one of our cats.

NATALIE WAS AMAZING! Sent us so many photos of our cat while we were gone, was so nice, and made me feel so safe knowing my kitty was looked after! Our Ginger Spice warmed up to her so quickly. We gave her our set of keys and while we were gone our keychain broke and she went as far as to fix it for us. So thoughtful!!!
